I have been a customer for over 5 years - bought 3 sets of tires, brakes, done all the flushes,…read moredifferentials and lots of oil changes...I put on a lot of KMs in a year. Today I went for my winter tire change - left it for the day as they asked and got there at 5 only to be told it hasn't been done. I voiced my disappointment and the manager was good - got the car in right away. 5 minutes later, I am told they can't switch the tires because two of the winters have the wear bar showing...upset, I left vowing not to buy my 4th set of tires there. It made me wonder why I wasn't made aware of this when they switched the tires out in the spring...I was told they cannot put those tires on because they won't pass a safety,....why were they given back to me in the spring? Regardless, that is my last oil change, tire purchase, and flush I will have done at Economy Lube. I know they are busy and will not miss my business - it does give me satisfaction to give my money to another garage.

The best part of it is the self-serve cleaning options for after. Make sure you book yourself some time after the wash to use the $3 self-serve professional cleaning area. Professional grade equipment, micro fibre cloths, mat cleaners, tire detailing equipment, and vacuums galore. If you want, you can get the full service where they do it for you, but the extra cost didn't seem worth it for the time I was there, as the interior wasn't too bad. We just used the mat cleaners, tire washing, quick vacuum and wipe-down of the interior surfaces. Also, if you need, keep your receipt because you can get a re-wash within 72 hours. I would have given it a 5 star, but there wasn't a lot of direction on the tire detailing service I paid for. I found out after we went through the self-serve area that for this, we would have to go through the full detailing section, and by that point we had already done it ourselves. Fraudulent Service, Beware…read more Their representative Rizwan falsely claimed that I needed transmission oil change when it had already been done less than a year ago. He showed me the color and said it is black and needs to be immediately replaced. Once I arrived home and checked my vehicle service record, I contacted Evan (store supervisor). He said he would check with Tony, area manager, and get back to me. Evan after checking with Tony called me and agreed for the refund once I send the invoice showing the previous transmission oil change. I sent it to him immediately only to receive a call next day from Tony saying that they will offer me a 50% store credit while acknowledging they had spoken to the employee about him making a sale pitch falsely by showing the color of the transmission oil which is not correct. I declined the 50% store credit and told him to do the right thing and honor what Evan already agreed to. He declined to do so and now has taken the stance of no credit after I told him I will take Mr. Lube to small claims court and report him to the media for fraudulent practices.

The don't mess around they don't give the hard up sale. Now that's importantly to Mr big time. This is my third time here and I trust them to do all the fluids and now my undercoating. I feel this is the perfect example of a large franchise. Good on you guys for keeping a very picky customer happy. So there you have the Real Deal on this Mr Lube.
