There's a "If you're eating, we ask that you please purchase a meal" and so we did. Mrs. K. enjoyed the trout with carrots and a baked potato. I chose the meatloaf with mac & cheese and green beans. Everything arrived pretty quickly and as we ordered, along with a basket of biscuits. A pretty solid portion - enough that the biscuits went into a box and were our breakfast this morning. We're huge fans of Cracker Barrel and will continue to patronize them on our journeys. [Review 1468 of 2025 - 324 in Kentucky - 25021 overall]

It's a small restaurant with a hometown feel - tables inside and a larger table in a side room. It's counter ordering with a large diverse menu. Kids menu items were great including Mac n cheese and chicken strips and fries. All came with a drink. Main entrees included hot items (shrimp & grits, meatloaf), salads, sandwiches and lots of vegetarian items. They also have a dessert area with large cookies, pies, etc. Our family ordered the kids chicken tenders, chicken tender wrap, BLT and turkey club sandwiches with fries. We also tried the fried okra. The fries were delicious and tasted homemade - the sandwiches were good. My sandwich was missing mayo which I didn't notice until after I was done eating. We enjoyed the food but didn't find anything super standout.
