I had a very poor experience with Virlar Automotive Group in Laredo. The pricing was changed…read moremultiple times without explanation--first quoted at $130, then increased to $420 the same day. When I asked for a breakdown of the charges and clarified that I only wanted one part instead of two, they refused to explain the pricing or provide details. When my father went to pay, he was not given a receipt and was told they "Don't provide receipts," which is very concerning. The vehicle was dropped off at 9:37 a.m., and by 2:43 p.m. we still had no update. Despite being told I would receive a call back and that I could check in at 2:30, no one ever contacted me. When I called to simply ask whether the car would be worked on--since I was going out of town--the staff member I spoke with was extremely rude, dismissive, and unhelpful, Condescending stating she didn't care about the situation and telling me to just come pick up the car. The manager also provided inconsistent information, including giving his name incorrectly more than once. Her behavior took me out of character; it made me ill to the point of shaking. Overall, the lack of transparency, refusal to explain charges, no receipt provided, poor communication, and rude behavior from both management and staff made this a very stressful experience. Customer service was completely lacking, and I would not recommend this business based on how this situation was handled. They do not deserve 1 star.

They have a small lounge area, but they do not allow pets, which I find annoying, most us drivers have a pet or pets with us on the road, they can't expect you to sit out in the 95 degree weather with your pet., but thankfully they allowed us to bring our pets inside, as long as they were in there carriers, (small dogs) A good variety of hotels down the road, there's a few that will come get you, taxi ride isn't awful, under $20, most hotels are under 4 miles away. Day 1: got here 1pm, waited until closing and had to leave so stayed at Pilot, 5 trucks ahead of us at this point Day2: got here about 7:50am, told only 1 truck ahead of us, got pulled in about 5pm. Close to 6pm they tell us they will be able to have the truck ready to go on about 30 min! They close at 7 so we were very thankful and excited they were going to have us done by closing! Really don't see why Google reviews all the people that reviewed left poor ones, I guess it depends on exactly what is wrong with your truck/vehicle, if parts need to be ordered and how many other trucks are ahead of you! I had to show up and verify that my truck wasn't there, and he still lied and said my truck wasn't there. He said that I had five trucks ahead of me , then he said I had 30 trucks ahead of me. That did not start trying to do anything with my truck until I called corporate. I was charged for things that they said they did that did approve the work for. The communication was terrible, and did not have any emails that would keep me informed. The cut our belt and said it was not on the truck. We had a replacement belt sitting out in the open that they said they could not find. The shop foreman then told my co driver that he was going to tear the truck up looking for it and charge me for it. The shop foreman made good on his threat by charging more money and our bunk was a mess. They intentionally over charged approximately 3,000 for the work done and when service over heard me on the phone with corporate, then the service writer immediately changed the cost to approximately under two thousand because they new they were wrong. I still had issues with my truck afterwards because of the terrible job they did fixing it. I still was charged for items that I never approved or new about even with the correction made to bill. They are prejudice against black and white people. I also have documentation and pictures of how they tore our truck up. The service writer with the tattoos threatened Ezekiel due to him calling corporate. The work had to be redone. Laredo also punctured our flex pipe to our turbo causing loss of power to our turbo. The customer is Ezekiel Sherrod with Qualiy carriers.

I repeatedly ask to double check everything the first time and when I came back ... The next day my car was was doing exactly same thing and then all the dashboard ligth came on and also it was choking like if it was out of gas ... to make a long story short they didn't plug the wiring back correctly i let the them seat on the of the engine ... i had to pay to have all that corrected then they left some bolts loose from engine mount ... after I told them to take their time repeatedly to do the job ,they just ignored me. And it was too much ... i really wish I get some of what I expend reimbursed
