I can't say enough good things about Same Day Plumbing and Heating and their service technician Arlo Careri. Our air conditioning did not seem to be cooling the house as it used to and I knew our HVAC system was overdue for maintenance, as it was getting along in age, but was hopeful it might just need to be cleaned and repaired. Arlo showed up right on time with a big smile on his face and as I was moving some articles and boxes in the garage to make room for him to access the system. He was so helpful and helped me move items as well. He got right to work figuring out everything and there was a lot to figure out trust me! Our air conditioning unit which is outside was beyond dirty and he mentioned it probably needs a deep cleaning which we could see about scheduling ​ it takes a little bit of time but before I knew it as I was sitting inside my house Arlo came in and he had already gone ahead and done the deep cleaning thinking that might fix the problem . He had not only done this deep cleaning but he didn't charge us for it he just wanted to try and see if our system would start working again. ​ He then went on to examine and check out our furnace which was basically two years over the end of its lifespan and in discovering all of these issues called in for his supervisor to double-check the work before they could 100% pretty much recommend I needed a new system . I have found the company and their representatives to be nothing but forthright and Beyond helpful and truly feel like I'm in good hands as a homeowner. We recently moved to the area and became first-time homeowners. To make an informed decision, we scheduled three estimates for our project. Same Day was the first company to come out. Ryan took the time to thoroughly inspect above the ceiling and under the floors. He provided us with four different options, clearly explaining the features, costs, and how each system worked. I mentioned that my husband and I were getting multiple estimates, and Ryan was understanding. He even gave me his personal cell phone number and encouraged me to call with any questions. The second company sent someone who spent only 20 minutes at our house and emailed me two days later with just one option. Unfortunately, it wasn't the style of heater I wanted, and the price seemed unreasonably high. The third and fourth companies were both very high-pressure. They insisted I call my husband to make an immediate decision and even tried to get us to agree to start the job the next day. One of those companies called me as soon as their salesperson left and dropped the price significantly if I would commit to the job right away. I couldn't help but ask, "What if I had agreed to the higher price while he was here?" Looking back, we could have saved ourselves a lot of time and stress if we had gone with Same Day from the beginning! The office handled all the scheduling and rebates seamlessly. I cannot recommend this company enough. Every single person that has come out to my house has been hard-working respectful and always ready to hear what I have to say. I am not the most well versed or understand HVAC to the best, and despite that they still hear me out and give me the benefit of the doubt. I had them install a new HVAC system new AC new furnace ran the ducting all under my house. This house was built in 89 so it's wet and gross under there but they still pulled it off and did an excellent job. Currently going through an issue right now where there is a weird smell coming from the vent and there was no hesitation on their part to come over and check it out. Every person in dispatch I have talked to over the phone and any secretary I talked to has always been 100% respectful and 100% capable of taking down my information and directing me to the best person. I do not recommend companies lightly and am EXTREMELY PICKY on who I let in my house and where I spend my money. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this company to anybody. I saw a review posted above that was negative, I do not claim to know what's going on with that person but I will say this in ANY RELATIONSHIP communication is 100% essential. Talking to a few of the workers that have been over here they have been with the same owner when he was with a different company and they switched over with him. Loyalty is everything and that says A LOT. I have no doubts the smell in my vent will be resolved. I can honestly say they stand by their work. tl:dr - 5 stars to Derrick and Angela for their outstanding work ethic and customer service. Unfortunately I didn't ask Angela which location she was from last month so hopefully this review finds its way to her. Derrick told me his location so that's why this review is here I had my system installed in October 2025 and opted for the Home Shield service. Since it was a new system I didn't see my maintenance as being super priority so when Same Day called me about it, I scheduled my first maintenance inspection. Angela was the tech on duty that day. She was an absolute rockstar for enduring my hovering and questions and further explaining my new system in layman terms. We went over my concerns about a squealing and she did her detective work and found the issue. It was a defective part. She then moved forward with reporting it and getting the parts ordered to correct the defect. Life got busy so it took me a minute to follow up on the install. A month later and Derrick was the tech on scene today. He took the time to go over any issues or concerns with me even tho he was familiar with the issue. It was a quick swap, he tested the system and made sure I was happy and didn't have any more questions before he started packing up. Of course right when he gets his backpack on I'm like wait a minute He was great tho, patient with my dumb thermostat question and even came back in to show me where to make the adjustment. When they say Same Day they mean Same Day. I was introduced to them through Home Depot. The came out and provided a free inspection of my home purchase. Buying a home built in 1988 has some challenges and some surprises. During home inspection we found problem with the entire HVAC system. Original ducts. Heating system 15 years old. AC about the same 15 years. Previous owner used the band aide system to keep the HVAC system working. We ripped off he bandaid and found the wound still festering. After speaking with one HVAC company I decided to take HD up on its offer to send out Same Day for a 2nd opinion. Am I glad I did. Enter Josh. A knowledgeable young man who tells it to you straight. You may not like it what he says but he knows his you know what. Josh went over my system pointing out the flaws with it and I agreed that I needed new ducts and a heater. My AC just needed some cleaning and service updates. Enter Joey and Eric two pleasant young men who installed the duct work and heater in 2 days. Yes 2 days. Enter Sylvestre who serviced my AC today and did a fantastic job. If it could get any colder in my house I will be able to hang meat. Same Day is a great company. From the technicians to the inside staff who does the follow up I highly recommend them. Fair, honest, timely and most importantly they don't rob you when giving you and estimate and destroy your pocketbook. Our city inspection department found 2 items that needed correcting before our gas heater installation permit could be finalized. I called Same Day HCP, who installed the unit, and my call ended up going to the San Diego rather than Windsor whom I've worked with regarding past inquiries and installations. The person who answered was pleasant enough but, the conversation reminded me of a call center where employees may have a script to follow and do not seem to have much knowledge of the business or the customer's appliance history. Overall the call was very frustrating and after 9 minutes we said our good bye's and I wondering if or when I might be contacted. Immediately, I used another SameDay phone number and connected with Stephanie in the Windsor location, who I'd spoken to in the past, and she understood what I was calling about. In under 15 minutes she had appointments scheduled for the end of the week with 2 technicians. I asked her who the technicians were and I was thrilled that Travis, who had been to the house on another job, would be doing the plumbing work. He is knowledgeable and pleasant as are all of the employees who have serviced our house over the past year plus. We have had several projects done at our home since I was 'ambushed' at Home Depot in 2024 by a gentleman representing Same Day Plumbing and HVAC and offering a $29. home inspection. From the moment I called this morning until when Jacqueline, the technician left today I was given such courteous, prompt, professional, and excellent service... they will be my go to service for hvac and plumbing if I ever should need anything again First, when I called this morning because my AC went on the fritz last night, the person who answered the phone call did everything she could to make an appointment that fit my schedule for today. I was kept up-to-date on when the technician would arrive throughout the morning. When Jacqueline srrived, she took me through the steps of what she was going to do. She started with the least expensive idea she had as to why the AC wouldn't work and then each idea after that she always kept me informed. When she was in the attic, she took pictures of what she saw up there and a video. When the only other option as to why the AC wasn't working, had to do with the actual unit itself, again she took pictures, she talked me through the process and then gave me lots of different options. Then when we thought it might be the compressor, she called the owner and they talked it through as to what some possible next steps could be. They really took care of me from beginning to end and Jacqueline could not have been more friendly, more professional, and more knowledgeable about what was going on. I had never had my HVAC system checked by anyone since purchasing my home in 2015. I received an ad from Home Depot offering a $29 HVAC check up visit. They were fantastic! Incredibly professional, they used booties before stepping into my home, they explained everything to me each step of the way. They took photographs of each of the things and at the end when they did their wrap up, they were able to show me photo by photo exactly what was right with my system and what might need replacement. They offer a monthly maintenance plan for a come out and check the cooling and heating and once a year they come out and check your water heater. This is perfect for a busy professional, who doesn't have time to call each of these types of professionals personally and schedule these appointments. Overall, I would highly recommend the same day. Especially if you get James and . Once so professional, so polite, very knowledgeable and really great at what they do. My furnace started acting up. It was blowing cool air when I needed heat. I contacted Same Day after speaking with another local company who gave me a wrong diagnosis. Matthew Mays came out and explained to me that due to my old system being outdated and the probability of getting parts for my 23 yr old Trane was close to impossible. My system was at the end of its life. He then suggested to have a technician look at it to find the root of the problem. A few days later Technician Angela arrived and took it apart. She showed me some serious issues with the old Trane and pointed out a few dozen problems. Especially when it was leaking with condensation and rusting. Wow it leaked! A gasket was blown and the motherboard needed attention so with a long list and it was not worth replacing parts. So I decided it was time for a replacement. I asked Matt for another appointment, and he came out and we ran the numbers, and I choose the 3 ton TempStar system which works way better than my Trane. A few days later, Installers Mynor and Jason did a superior job! They removed my old system and installed the new one. They even came back the next day and replaced the ducting and the attic exhaust fan. My experience was awesome and I'm glad the right people at Same Day HVAC took care of my needs. I've had a series of projects done by Same Day Plumbing recently, and their service is professional, timely, and high quality. I also became a member, because it got me a discount on the work, and it is great to have the extra support throughout the year. Dominic, Jose, and James all gave great assessments and advice on the work that needed to be done, very reasonable with options. Francisco did some fantastic installations of a new bidet toilet, hose bibs, and repiping with copper to replace a hodgepodge of cooper/galvanized pipes underneath my house. After all was done (very excellent work!) there was an issue with my washing machine not receiving water. Same Day sent out Alvaro for the first appointment of the next day. He checked everything and isolated the issue at my washing machine, not the plumbing job, but he also went above and beyond, helping me call the manufacturer (Miele), and stayed to troubleshoot and change out hoses. Our furnace gave out at the worst possible time (middle of winter, two little kids, 2 weeks before Christmas...) and we needed someone to look at it immediately. I called North Bay Same Day at 9am and Arlo arrived at 1:30. He could not have been nicer or more professional. I want to specifically recognize Silvestre Espinoza from Same Day Heating for his professionalism, technical judgment, and integrity. Silvestre came out to evaluate and wire a thermostat. Before proceeding with the work, he took the time to fully power up and assess the system. During that evaluation, he identified improper flame behavior caused by a defective valve and clearly explained that proceeding would present a potential safety and fire hazard. Rather than simply completing the requested task, he stopped the work, explained the risk in clear terms, and advised that it would not be safe to move forward. No work was performed, which I genuinely appreciated. His approach prioritized safety over convenience, and that says a lot about his professionalism. Silvestre was calm, thorough, and transparent throughout the visit. It's clear he takes his responsibility seriously and isn't willing to cut corners. Had a good experience replacing my 21-year-old furnace with North Bay Same Day Plumbing, Heating & Cooling. Megan and Stephanie handled appointments efficiently. Sly and Chris evaluated my system, answered questions directly, and presented replacement options and a clear, understandable contract. In less than a week, Ricky and Neil arrived to install a new furnace, tape up registers, check ducting, and fabricate upgraded venting for the new unit. ALL Same Day people were informative, respectful, and friendly. The installers were patient even though getting started was delayed because I had to herd cats into a separate room so they wouldn't escape or try to "help" the guys while they worked. We stopped in to Home Depot for parts for our custom dog grooming table as we have two huskies and HD has a whole line of tools obvious meant for working on that breed. As we were waiting for our husky Husky husky table to be brought down from upstock, a representative approached and inquired as to how many inches of fur all our belongings were covered with and asked if we had had our relatively new heat pump unit serviced. I assured them it was at least 8" of fur, but my SO opted for a third-party review of that measurement and the next thing you know we have Arlo from Same Day at our place inspecting my unit. Turns out my unit hadn't been serviced in some time and was quite dusty. Arlo skillfully cleaned the grime from the blower fins and educated us on the care of the system. We opted for their $13/month service plan which will also cover our water heater inspection. If they find something wrong, the diagnostic fee will be waived, but you will still need to pay if they need to lay some pipe. read more

We had the pleasure of working with Ray McGee today on our residential HVAC inspection. Our house is a quarter-century old and all the furnace and A/C equipment is original --which means it's getting outdated and inefficient. Ray was wonderful. Super knowledgeable, very professional and personable, and totally thorough with his inspection. Just as importantly, for someone like me who has had to deal with pushy people before, I really appreciated not being pressured into anything. He laid out and explained our options patiently and gave the pros and cons of each option, giving us time to think about how we wanted to proceed. That was much appreciated. Our history with in-home service providers...whether for HVAC, plumbing, or electrical, has always been "less-than", so we were not expecting much. We were wonderfully and pleasantly surprised. On Friday morning, our home installed furnance went out. It was 30 degrees and raining out. I called Same Day and they responsed immediately. Ryan came and evauated the problem. He made worked to get the furnance working within a few hours. He thoroughly explind that the furnace whch had been installed with the constuction of the home in 1996 was failing. He recommended we should consider replacing it. His explanation thorough and clear. We agreed to have Same Day replace the furnance. He said that they would replace it on Monday, a holiday. On Monday Silvestre Espinoza and Justin Jordan worked tirelessly to replace the furnance. There were unexpected differemces in how the furnance would fit in the area but they completed the job. They were very clean and careful about the area. All of these gentlemen were friendly and plolite. I woulld use Same Day for all my plumbing and HVAC needs needs. Outdstanding job! read more
