Thank you, Gabriel, for completing my annual inspection on my heating system! He took his time to clean my system and I appreciated his thoroughness and kindness, and taking the time to explain to me how to best care for my HVAC system. He also changed my air filter and changed my thermostat batteries :) I love that my home warranty company American Home Shield offers included tune up/inspections as being part of a member with the home warranty program. It has helped me save money and ensure that my system is working efficiently and properly. Luckily, Gabriel has been able to come to my home for the last few years so he already knows what to look for and I appreciate the timeliness of the inspection before the weather gets colder! Thank you!! Gracias, Gabriel! read more

We found MS Services Inc. dba Sameday Air Conditioning and Heating through American Home Shield. They reached out in advance of the service visit for scheduling and reminders. Gabriel, out technician, called ahead to let us know when he would arrive. He was friendly, kind, respectful, and very efficient! We were only scheduled for a tune-up, but Gabriel immediately noticed a problem with the igniter and was able to work directly with AHS so that he could service the furnace immediately, rather than having to wait for another appointment. The repair was completed and tested in about 1hr, and Gabriel gave easy instructions for future maintenance. Fantastic work! read more

I chose to have the system recharged. As he performed the recharge, he inspected the rest of the system for any possible problems. Very thorough. Gabriel was very knowledgeable and very pleasant to work with. read more

I recently had an HVAC tune-up service, and I couldn't be happier with the experience. Gabriel was right on time, which I really appreciated, and he was extremely professional throughout the entire visit. He took the time to explain everything he was going to do before starting, which gave me a lot of confidence in the process. After finishing the tune-up, Gabriel walked me through the overall health of the system and explained everything clearly, including what's working well and what I should keep an eye on in the future. It's rare to find someone who's both knowledgeable and willing to take the time to communicate with customers -- and Gabriel did exactly that. read more

We requested an a/c tune up via our home warranty company. Same Day A/C provided the service and our technician was Gabriel. We received our courtesy 20min call ahead of scheduled arrival time. Gabriel was polite, respectful, professional and kept us fully informed. Our A/C needed a repair that was covered by our HW (but needed a separate service call) which he arranged on the spot and saved us time and added expense. We are very grateful for the excellent service. read more

I submitted a ticket with home warranty to get someone from Same Day Air Conditioning & Heating for a HVAC estimate. They reached out to me to schedule an appointment for a HVAC installation. They provided me with a 4 hour window for the scheduled appointment and never showed up within the window. I tried to reach out to them, but I got no response and no notification that they are going to miss it. Very unprofessional. read more

I submitted a ticket with American Home Shield Warranty and they had someone from Same Day Air Conditioning & Heating reach out to me to set up an appointment regarding a clicking noise I was hearing whenever the heater was turned on. Gabriel was dispatched to my home. He was courteous and even brought his own shoe covers upon entering. He carried his ladder up 3 flights of stairs with care, ensuring it did not damage any of my walls. He made his way to the attic to assess the issue. Turns out, the noise came from a PVC pipe that was pushed into the wood structure every time the heated duct expanded. To fix this, he re-positioned the pipe away from the wood. Since he was already up there, I asked him if he could take a look at a closet ceiling leak that I recently noticed and confirm the water source. Sure enough, there was a leak in the pipe which he was able to seal. He asked that I wait 2 hours for the glue to dry before turning on the heater and to give the company a call back if the clicking noise was still present. Waited a couple days for the glue to dry (just to be on the safe side) but unfortunately still heard the clicking. It wasn't as strong as before but still present. Scheduled another appointment. He came back to move the pipe even further from the wood but mentioned the original builder did not do a good job with the piping layout so he was limited on how far the pipe could be pushed back. Luckily the clicking noise had finally stopped (phew). He noticed the heater frequently turning off on its own so he proceeded to the furnace to check the air filter and found it was completely covered in a layer of thick dust and also installed incorrectly (by previous homeowners). He showed me the correct airflow direction and recommended that I stop by Home Depot to pick up a new filter since likely the trapped dust was causing the heater to act sporadicly and circulating dust within the home. In short, I initially had 1 issue that I called in for and he ended up fixing 3! :) read more

My AC unit was not cooling so American Home Shield had Same Day AC come out. Turns out I had a bad valve and Gabriel came out and switched the valve and recharged my AC. They have done a really good job installing the AC and were really good with follow up appointments as well. They definitely know their stuff and very ethical about the work. As we were doing pavers on our back yard, and we wanted to relocate our condenser to the side yard. Same day was very responsive and they offered a prompt free estimate. Their quote was not the cheapest nor the highest, and I chose them because of the good reviews. However, they seemed to cut corners in the work, they only connected the wires to the old cable without redoing the connection on the furnace. Now we have a switch box basically useless and all the old wires in the middle and looking weird. They did mention the wires will be connected in the crawl space during the free estimate but they should have specifically told me they didn't plan to connect the furnace from new location and how the wires look like after work is done. read more

UPDATE: Sam, the owner reached out and refunded the charge! Great customer service and warrants an extra star!! ============== Our AC suddenly stopped working and after some research we found out we have a dead capacitor. I reached out to several places to schedule an appointment and Same Day Air was able to schedule me for the next day. Mohammad came within the scheduled time and confirmed the issue was a dead capacitor. All is great up to this point until he told me how much it would cost to do the work: $249! Before I scheduled the appointment, I asked how much it would cost for the estimate and to replace the capacitor and I was told $79 flat rate. It turned out that the $79 is service fee which will be waived if we do the work. $124/$129 is the part cost and the rest is labor and tax. I know capacitor is cheap, you can buy one yourself for $15-20 and I know these companies would mark up part price, but marking up the part 5x the original cost is absurd! As a reference, another company quoted me $49 for the capacitor. We still decided to let him do the work, knowing that we are getting ripped off, just because it would be a hot weekend and we don't want to wait a couple more days for someone else to come in. It took 15 minutes for him to do the work and our AC is now working again. If they are giving a fair price, I would've loved to give them a much better rating! In summary, easy to schedule appointment(1 *), technician comes on time(1 *), AC is fixed(1 *). Price gauging is what lands them in the 3* category. read more

Great company showed up within the window time of 11-1500. There tech Johnny Gutierrez called to let me know he was in route. His knowledge found the problem immediately and also determined my A/C twin units were to small for my square footage. Johnny got my A/C unit up and running in no time I was also glad he had the part to complete the repair. Great company and FANTASTIC TECHNICIANS with great knowledge. I must say Johnny was knowledgeable, neat, clean, removed his shoes before coming in my home. Highly recommended Company. G.Philz read more

Our furnace died on a Sunday and we needed someone to take a look at it asap given the cold January nights. Same day air conditioning answered our call immediately and sent someone over ~ 1 hour later. They were here before other companies returned my call. The service from start to finish was Five Star. This was during a terrible heat wave in the Bay Area and was during the Covid 19 epidemic. I have an American Home Shield Home Warranty and this was the assigned vendor. When I called for service the nice lady ( not sure this is right spelling ) Ponab was very gracious. Because of the severe heat she told me it would be several days go an appointment. I told her I understood and asked if there were a cancellation we would appreciate it as my wife and I are in our 70's and sheltered in place. 2days later she called and told me she was sending Gabriel this afternoon. What a Gi Gabriel arrived on time wearing mask and gloves. He immediately diagnosed the problem as a bad Capacitor. He installed a new one and we were good to go. NO UPSELL OR B.S. Honest and Straightforward. If I ever have a problem again I will not hesitate to request them. read more

Great job today from Gabriel. Took care of our issue. Always great to meet an honest technician

The tech started out well. After assessing my system, he said a circuit board had a short and a fan assembly had a problem. He described 2 repair options costing around $5K or around $2K. After more looking around in my HVAC system, he finished the assessment. He asked for my card to pay for the visit. I asked for the estimates and their details. He sent 1 quote that totaled just under $900. He proceeded to leave, after taking payment. I went to his truck to ask if he would would put the panels back on. He came back and remounted the panel that required screws. read more

Our AC stopped working last night. With temps predicted to hit 95+ the next day, wildfire smoke and a baby we needed someone reliable who can fix the problem right away. Reached out to Same Day AirConditioning at midnight thinking I might get a response the next day but Sam replied within 5mins! and scheduled an appointment for next day. It's rare to find businesses like SDAC&H these days that truly care. Technician Sanad arrived on-time, diagnosed the problem and fixed it all within 30mins!! He also helped install smart thermostat, pointed out few concerns with zoning that may potentially break in the future and also provided few options to fix it if/when it gives up. Sanad is a top notch tech who knows his stuff. Highly recommend Sanad and this company because they're efficient, skilled, followed the masking protocols and trustworthy. read more

Great customer service. Johnny Guiterez is the AC tech that came out to check out a leak in the AC. Turns out the water pump was not working and looked to be clogged. He cleaned up and looked like was working. An hr later I went to check and it was leaking again. I called them again and Johnny headed back to the house to check out the problem. He found out that the water pump is broken and stops draining and jams. He was able to find a solution to patch it temporary to get it working so that is does not leak over the weekend until we get the replacement part next week to swap it out. It is not always you get someone who is good and does the right thing by the customers. It is a breath of fresh air to work with such people that you can trust. Thanks Again Johnny. read more

Johnny came out today to service our AC and I really appreciated the service he gave our family. He was really quick in diagnosing the problem. Besides the actual work in getting our AC running again, he was really proactive in showing me what had failed and explaining how things work and what he was going to do. In my experience, other companies' technicians aren't that proactive in explaining details beyond general information. In addition, after the fix, he did additional checks like check the refrigerant pressures and the temp of the air coming out of the vents (he showed me both readings and explained the normal ranges). All with a really friendly demeanor. Thank you again. read more

When you are in trouble it is great to have reliable and professional service. Our furnace stopped working the Wednesday before Thanksgiving. Same Day Air Conditioning sent Sanad on the same day. The service was excellent. Sanad showed up on time, and texted before arriving. He was extremely courteous, was diligent about wearing a mask and keeping our house clean, and most importantly he took the time to clearly explain the results of his initial troubleshooting to both my wife and I. Not only was Sanad's assessment of the issue accurate, but they were able to get the parts expedited. Sanad went out of his way to get our house heated as early as possible while taking the time to clearly walk us through the issues in a professional manner. We will definitely recommend Same Day Air Condition to our friends and family. read more

We were put in contact with them through our home warranty company. We were charged $80 for the service fee. They incorrectly diagnosed the problem that rodents had chewed the wire and told the same to our warranty who refused to cover it. We don't have any rodents. We contacted another HVAC company (independent of warranty) They came and fixed the problem easily and told us the root cause wasn't what "same day air condition & heating" had diagnosed. This company misdiagnosed and lied about the problem. I don't recommend them at all. Go with someone else. read more
