I have taken my husband to Sambuca before but not his one here in Plano Texas. I had made reservations for my husband and me for our anniversary. I h I thought ALL sambuca restaurants had the same classy standards but I was absolutely wrong! When we arrived, no one was at the front desk but it had a sign saying, " if you need to be seated you need to go and look for someone". Disgusting! What made it worse, I had to speak to someone from the bar to let them know I had reservations. A hostess came to the front desk very unprofessional with a plate of food, eating while talking like she was at a school cafeteria. It turn my husband and my stomach and we left. I will NEVER recommend anyone to dine at this sambuca 360 in Plano Texas. The address is 7200 Bishop Road. Whoever is the owner or GM needs to do some serious training!!!!! Worst customer service I've ever received. The workers are absolutely rude. We waited forever for service and when asked it was as if we spat in their face. and I even watched the bouncer throw a woman onto the pavement. Whether her behavior warranted her being removed from the bar or not, as a man, why would you ever use excessive force with a visibly intoxicated person. When we walk in, the host asked for our driver's licenses and then informed us that we could make ourselves comfortable anywhere. The dining area is quite expansive with booths aligning the walls and center of the room. We took a seat at a cozy booth/table and were immediately served water. Our server came by not too long after for drink orders. She's a darling, too bad she didn't give us her name. Too bad I didn't see Sambuca 360 on the restaurant week list or else we would have indulged in that. Nonetheless, we still ordered a good amount of food and drinks. Small Plates: Ceviche - absolutely delicious; the right amount of citrus, cilantro, and onions but preferred a little more heat from the jalapenos Shrimp & Crab Dip - lumps of shrimp and crab scooped by salted crispy tortilla chips... yum! 360 Plates: Lobster Enchiladas - the lobster enchiladas had a wonderful, creamy taste along with the cilantro lime rice but I wouldn't pay $28 for them again (additional $3 for split entrees; we didn't see that anywhere on the menu, not even on the online menu) Happy Endings: Cheesecake Sopapilla - the cheesecake was mediocre and the sopapilla crust wasn't flaky Berry Cobbler Streusal - the cobbler was filled with different berries and full of taste; the vanilla bean ice cream was a delightful topping Shakin' It Up Dragon Berry - frozen drink that's extremely sweet; great tasting (can't taste the alcohol) but too sweet for my preference Coconut Mojito - a wonderful concoction; refreshing, thirst quenching, and savory We will definitely have to visit again especially during "rush hour" ($4 off appetizers, $3 off glasses of wines and wells), which are weekdays 4:30-6:30. We were disappointed by the false advertisement on the menu (apparently, they went through a change and didn't update the menus) because it had specials all day Sundays. I've been going to Sambuca 360 since the day it opened and it never fails to be a great time. The food is outstanding and it's a great place to dance the night away! All of this comes down to the friendly and attentive staff. It's always fun to see everyone there. Dear Lord this place was horrible from the start. What a train wreck. We were greeted with "this is a private club, I need to see your ID" what the heck does that mean? Anyway, we gave IDs. All good there. We get seated. It takes 5+ minutes for someone to come get our water order. By the way there are only 3 tables set outside and probably 10 People at best in the restaurant. The place seemed really busy. A private event (post-Christmas Christmas party was taking place) was happening. The entertainer was good. The place was LOUD. If you want to actually converse with whomever you are there with, forget it. It has very modern stone / steel / glass finishes everywhere that reflect sound and contribute to the amplification of noise. Drinks were good. They brought refills seemingly without asking, but happy to charge. Food was great. The chicken-fried ribeye was awesome. Only negative was that I could have used a bit more gravy. The band that played was exceptional and put a lively twist on many favorite cover songs that would appeal to a relatively wide audience. The trendy surroundings offer an area for dancing, intimate booth seating, and the social bar setting; so just about anyone can find their comfort zone here. I don't even know where to start. Management nonexistent here. We were having a great time watching a band that we love play. We love the waitresses but this is our second time there and none of the waitresses know how to open a bottle of wine, and we have literally had to open it ourselves and teach them how to open the wine. More importantly, as we are enjoying this great band that deserves a lot more credit and a lot more time, they throw them off of the stage 25 minutes early because "we are not making money". This was a quote from the manager that I spoke to. This place is going to close down within the next month is my guess. I hope that the bands that play here end up in better places with more success. It's always a hit or miss if this place will be poppin and if you'll be served a good drink. I've been a couple times and I always enjoy the live music. The performers do a good job of connecting with the guests. I haven't ordered food here but the drinks are over priced. A splash of tequila with mostly grapefruit juice was $12. The bartender told us she made that drink up (really?) and then was pretty rude when we were asking about other drinks. We wanted to try a fancy new drink, not order our usual and she had no interest, which to me means she's not a good bartender. Another bartender helped us but took 15 min to get the drink, on a slow Tuesday night that's a long time to wait for a drink. Went for happy hour after work with a friend and really enjoyed the place. Drinks were delicious and the food was really good too. We got some things to snack on: blackened fish tacos, chicken bites, creme brûlée, and cobbler. Our waitress was really sweet too, can't remember her name but she was friendly and prompt. I love this place. I do! There are a few things needed though. It should be tougher to get out than to get in. I get carded, it's always awkward. With a receipt to sign so people get thrown off. All. The. Time. People leave with things. And drunk. They should have more security and strict dress code enforcements. Between 9-11:00 it's very good and classy. Then they let the riff raff in around midnight. That's when things start getting out of hand and my girls and I head out. Recently, I ordered a Moscow mule and it came in a clear plastic cup. It's just not the same without the copper cup! Even the bartender Ashley agreed! Bring it back classy again by regulating and bring the coper back baby! Lol If you need assistance in marketing for events or holidays, I am your girl! I was here today, Fourth of July weekend and it was deader than a door nail. I just love this place. Mainly because of the live band and calm crowd. This is a great spot to come to after a long day of work for some great entertainment and drinks. I came here on a Tuesday, so the crowd was very light. It was about 8 of is but we were able to snag a table right in front of the stage. The band was pretty good and they played a nice mix of music. The lead singer was very talented but lacked a lot of stage presence. He just sat on his chair and read the lyrics from his phone. We were still very pleased with the band. Our waitress was very nice and attentive to us while we were there as well. We only ordered drinks because the kitchen closes at 10 which was kind of disappointing. Although they had some empty tables available they weren't seating some of those areas so that the tables and chairs could be removed to make room for the dance floor. Now they did have other empty tables, but we were told they were being held due to reservations.......which brings me to my question....HOW LONG DO YOU HOLD RESERVATIONS WHEN THE CUSTOMER DOESN'T SHOW UP???!!!! Went here for lunch and am I glad I did. I was skeptical because of the bad service I have received at their sister concept in Uptown. The chicken fried ribeye was awesome as was the sausage gravy. The steak was tender and flavorful but the gravy! OMG The atmosphere is great with TV's everywhere. The server was really nice so in my mind the. Came for a late lunch the other day. My group of 5 and I were the only ones in the restaurant on a Tuesday afternoon and the service was great. Food was good even though I find the food in Dallas tends to be saltier than anywhere else in Texas. I ordered the salmon Salad which was a bit over cooked but decent. The crab dip as an appetizer was really good. My company also rented out the restaurant for the night tonight for our sales dinner. Open bar was great and a buffet was really good. The ceviche and fish tacos were amazing. And prime rib was delicious. They had a lip sync competition and played a really good variety of music. Great DJ! Recommend!! read more

This seemed like it was going to be a fun place. It wasn't crowded, there was live music. We were there with a large group of people and ordered a round of shots and a drink each and the bartender cut us off. I don't understand why. It was still early and no one was acting up or anything. She very childishly told all of the other bartenders not to serve us. It was absolutely ridiculous! On top of that, she didn't know how to make any drinks. My husband asked for a specific Whisky that was right on the shelf and she said they didn't have it without even looking. I ordered a Singapore Sling and she didn't know what it was so I got a Long Island which tasted like vodka with WAY too much sour mix and nothing else. I couldn't even drink it. I went for a friend's birthday dinner. It's crazy to me that to make a reservation you have to pay $1000+. What's even crazier, that people pay it! My friend and I went to grab a table around 530PM. We were initially told we could only have the table for 2 hours, but they didn't kick us out. Thankfully! If you're going, definitely go for happy hour. The apps are 1/2 price and drinks are decently priced. I got the the margarita pizza for $6 while my friend got 30 minutes later for $11. I was surprised by the presentation of some of the meals. Some friends got salmon and it was served only with asparagus and scallops, making the HUGE plate look sparse. Since we eat with our eyes, my friends were overwhelmed believing it was mucho overpriced. Perhaps, if it was served on a plate that was more in proportion to the amount of food served they wouldn't have felt that way. Since friends came later on, I stayed for the music. Tunes were popping at 9PM. I was also curious to see where the dancing was. They cleared some tables out. I was a little surprised they ask to see your ID. I guess no kids allowed? We enjoyed the food so much that we decided to drive 30+ minutes a few weeks later for the same filet with asparagus; we don't live in the area. We went to Sambuca with the intention to have a great time. We went for a friends birthday. We were ordered some shots from bartender Ariana who completely ruined our night. She told us she was going to cut us off if we ordered another set of shots. We were a party of 10. We first ordered 5 shots for the ladies, then 3 shots for the guys and were going to order another set for the missing 2 and were turned down. I find that absolutely ridiculous. We are grown people. We are not in our 20's to be treated like we were. Ariana went around to all the bartenders to refuse to serve us. It was 9pm! We had just got there from eating dinner down the street! Never seen a group of white boys sing black folks music with such showmanship and style. From Prince, to Bobby Brown, Kool and the Gang and more. I loved them. I've been to this place a handful of times and each time it's been okay. The majority of the time the food is pretty good but every now and then its not the greatest. The last time I came was a couple of weeks ago on a Tuesday night around 7:30p. The place was pretty empty so we were sat immediately. My so ordered the American pie which tasted fresh and was cooked well. I had the spring chicken, the combination of the purée cauliflower, Brussels sprouts and herb caper sauce were spot on in terms of pairing ingredients and taste. Only complaint was the chicken was a bit over cooked and therefore dry. Our waitress was very nice and attentive. Overall good experience and will be back if around the area. read more

This is not my usual place to go out but I went because friends were in town over the weekend. The cover charge can vary depending on the night. One night it was $5, one night it was no cover, and Friday night it was $10. With the $10 cover charge, I couldn't buy myself a drink. The band on that night was so-so, the crowd was your usual average age of 35-55. Single ladies out there from age 21-34, this is not the place to hunt unless the mature sugar daddies are your type.
