Don't even think you're going to be seen at your appointment time. If you're lucky, you'll be seen an hour after that time. Ridiculous. I have been sitting in the lobby for over an hour, with a full house. I mean, it's giving me time and energy to go on here and give you all a heads up. It's like they schedule 20 appts at the same time and who knows where on the list you'll be. The reasoning behind the wait was that some require more attention than others (pregnant women) so you would think, you'll have this system in place with sufficient time for each patient right? But no. If you like to waste time, this is the place for you. Just make sure to bring some headphones and entertainment device to keep you busy because there's no TV here. read more

I was recommended by my OB to Dr. Samadi as a high risk pregnancy due to having twins. Dr. Samadi has always been attentive and listened to my concerns and was very informative during my appointments. Sometimes you may have to wait a big longer than expected but he doesn't rush his patients and answers all questions you may have. I say the wait time is worth it especially since they take their time to make sure baby/babies are growing fine and you're not rushed. I'd also like to mention that my favorite ultrasound tech that I love is MELODY!! Melody is such an amazing person with a great attitude and happy personality. She's super nice and funny and also guides you through what she's doing or what part of the baby you're looking at. I always hope I get her as my tech when I come it and I'd honestly wait 2 or more hours if it means that she'll be the one performing the ultrasound. My 10 year old daughter loves her as well because any time my daughter asks her a question about her twin siblings, she informs her and answers her questions with detail. Dr. Samadi took over my MFM care at 20Wks. He is very experienced and knowledgeable and walked my husband and I through the process of receiving a cerclage. He checked me every 2-3weeks and updated us throughout the entire process. My cerclage held up until removal at 36wks with NO COMPLICATIONS. Our baby is completely healthy. The staff is amazing all the techs and front desk staff are very nice. They develop a personal relationship with you as well as remembering important details. The office manager is not as friendly but you do not have to deal with her so much. Both times I've had to speak with her they weren't the best experiences I've had. 2.5 years ago I had my daughter Audrey at 37 weeks.... urged by Dr Samadi due to the fact that she wasn't growing. She had IUGR (which ended up being because her umbilical cord was very short and dying and had Oomphalocele) Dr samadi was concerned when my OB wasn't. He also noticed during An ultrasound that something wasn't right with her heart and come to find out she had Tetralogy of Fallot. Because Dr. Samadi is EXTREMELY thorough and at his call, I was induced. During my pregnancy I had 3 appointments each week to Monitor Audrey and was under a very concerned watchful eye. Yes, when you go see Samadi the wait can be long, I even got impatient at times but the moment you go Into the room, have the ultra sounds and talk to the dr, you know why you wait. He is genuinely concerned about your baby and you. I feel that because Dr. Samadi was my doctor I was prepared. Audrey had Oomphalocele repair at 3 days old, open heart surgery at 6 months and is now a strong willed, tenacious little toddler that will be stopped by nothing. Even remember Dr.Samadi saying that during one of his ultrasounds, Audrey was just not letting him get the look he needed at the moment and he jokingly said "ooo you will have your hands full with this one!" And don't get me started on their billing people. They are an absolute nightmare to work with. If you have secondary insurance be prepared to do the billing department's job. They never sent my bills to my gap insurance, and because of that when I finally realized that and tried to send the bills myself, they were able to pay all of my bills except for one. Dr, Samadi, the office manager, and the billing department all said that I still had to pay the bill even though it was their fault for never billing it to my gap insurance. The billing people they use is called "Professional Billing," but they can't even do their job right. If you look up their ratings they have a history of not doing their job and then berating the customer for their own mistakes. If I could give no stars I would. First the office was disgusting, the bathroom in the building was horrific, and the staff was unbelievably rude. I'm 13 weeks pregnant and went in for an ultrasound. I was a new patient and the front desk misspelled my information on the paperwork even when they had my ID. The maximum capacity was 18 and there was more than that waiting. People were waiting for over 2 1/2 hours to be seen and the staff just didn't care. After around 45 minutes of waiting the receptionist told me there was an issue with my insurance which their wasn't they just had no clue what they were doing. I left without being seen because clearly they were unprofessional, and I wouldn't trust any person working in a place like that with myself let alone my baby. read more

I had a great experience with Dr. Samadi and his staff during two of my pregnancies. Dr. Samadi was very knowledgeable and always answered mine and my husband's questions. We had parvovirus exposure and he made sure to follow up until the end. His nurse helped us with billing for genetic testing and an amniocentesis and made the process easier for us. One of the worst experiences ever. My appointment was at 11:40 and i am still waiting to be seen at 1:50pm. Hardly anyone of the staff is wearing a mask, including the doctor! Finally after 2 months into the pandemic they have some chairs blocked Off to encourage social distancing but that's about it. The waiting room is STILL packed full of patients. No extra cleaning or disinfecting going on. Their bathroom is disgusting, dirty and smells terrible. How is this a medical office? If you can avoid this office, do so! The absolute worst experience I have ever had ANYWHERE. The office is so small that you can hear everyone's business through the sign in window. Wait times are extremely long even WITH a scheduled appointment. Dr. Samadhi, himself, told me "some guy named Eric" would call me to bill me and when he did, he proceeded to ask me to give him $300 over the phone and when explained that I didn't have that much, he told me to ask my parents or that he would have to bill my insurance $500? I'll be honest, my first appointment with him I didn't want to come back, so I didn't for 2 months until I switched OB and they recommend I see him for another ultrasound. He wasn't very comforting and just for an ultrasound you won't leave for almost two hours. I've come back and this time he seemed very concerned and very comforting. The worst experience I have ever had at a Dr office. Have to make apt one month out when you get referred by a dr. Then when they call to confirm they not once say please show up 15 min ahead of time. Nor that due to our office being small please make arrangements for children for they are not allowed in the office. I had no child care avaliable for my five kids. If I knew ahead of time I would made better arrangements. The ladies in the front office and the office manager have no respect for pregnant women. For a new patient a sign in the front of the office is good enough notice. Then they took over thirty min to even give me three papers for me to sign. Then another thirty min to go back and get seen. Dr. Samadi is by far the best Perinatologist. After having 2 miscarriages due to lupus and rheumatoid arthritis because of him, I am now 34 weeks with our precious baby boy. He has taken such good care of me. I had incompetent cervix at 21 weeks, he caught right on time and was able to do a rescue cerclage. He did such an amazing job I have been able to come this far. This review is for his apple valley location since he doesn't seem to have a yelp page for that one. I can't say too much on the doctor himself, i was immediately referred out since I had the potential of carrying a rare platelet antigen that can cause death or brain hemorrhaging in infants. I don't blame him for this. He was playing it safe and referred me to Loma Linda. I appreciate that he realized this was out of his practice and took no chances. My mother suffered from this, and her specialist in the high desert didn't give her proper care and as a result my sister will never live a normal life due to the complications. FYI I don't carry the antigen and will have a safe pregnancy. The woman who gave me my ultrasound was so pleasant and explained what she was doing and looking for. I also loved that even though an ultrasound was already done, Samadi gave me another to cross examine. The medical professionals themselves were great. I am not giving 5 stars because of the office. First off, it is so difficult to get ahold of anyone through the phone. It's hard to find out which number to call, and when you do, you are sent to voicemail with no option to leave a message or greeted with an error message even though you've called the number before. I had read that the waiting room was small, but i was literally shocked once i saw it for myself. Pregnant women tend to bring someone with them to see a high risk doctor, it's comforting plus pregnancy and ultrasounds are exciting. There are not even enough seats for the pregnant women. Anytime someone would walk in with more than one guest i would get annoyed for the rest of us. Needless to say plenty of people were waiting outside in the sun. When you walk in, you sign in and have a seat. It took the receptionist about 35 minutes to see that i was a new patient and needed to fill out paperwork because she was on the phone. I don't blame her, but she was on the phone my entire wait. I would watch women walk up to the desk for a question or to book the next appointment and would have to wait up there for a while. The girl up front had way too much of a work load. I would still recommend Samadi because the professionals truly care and do a great job. Dr. Samadi is THE BEST! And we LOVE his staff, too! We have 2 healthy kiddos (2010 & 2015) thanks to their help. I had preeclampsia with my first (he helped us be able to be at home during bed-rest & make it to full-term) & was considered high risk with my latest because of low-progesterone MCs in between. I loathed my assigned OB's office (seriously inept & rude to boot; doc is great, though), so Samadi saw me every 2 weeks from about wk 8, then every week during the last 2 months. I couldn't be more grateful that he took me under his wing to ensure I was getting proper care to reach the magic week 39 the second time around, too. He's super blunt, but his candor is clearly from a place of compassion & he also usually has a sense of humor about things - all of which I, my hubs & my family like. He asks you about how you feel & then LISTENS - amazing, right? He's forthright & honest while not being an alarmist or over-zealous - no sugar-coating, no pushing for extra tests/procedures to cover his butt, no BS. He's always busy, but he takes the time to make sure you feel comfortable, heard and knowledgeable about what's happening with your body and baby. He's all about getting his patients - which includes both mom & baby - to the delivery room as healthy & as close to full-term as possible. He knows his stuff & there's no better testament to this than the hundreds (if not thousands) of babies he has had a hand in bringing into the world. His staff is better than most with scheduling - barring any emergencies, we were typically in and out within a couple of hours max - and they are so friendly & sweet! We once had to wait after a couple was told the genetic testing showed their baby wouldn't survive. Samadi was in literally holding them while they cried and made the tough calls; the staff helped them schedule everything they needed so they left knowing what was going to happen each step of the way; the girls up front made sure we all had water & then let us all go eat or do whatever until they called when we were up next so we could walk right in and go in the back as soon as we arrived back at the office. It was so nice to see everyone working to make sure this couple was taken care of during what is probably the darkest moment of their lives & one we all fear. It is just typical, though, of the kind of care I've come to expect from Samadi and his wonderful staff. We really can't recommend Dr. Samadi or his office enough. A simple "Thank you" doesn't suffice when you're talking about making your life easier during what can be such a stressful time. We really love them and hope that, should we have another wee one and need their support, they will still be around! read more

Please don't see Dr. Samadi!!! He is a horrible specialist for high risk pregnancy. I saw him for my first and now second pregnancy. I ended up having a stillbirth at 35 weeks because Dr. Samadi failed to tell me he stopped growing at 32 weeks and assured me that he did everything possible for that pregnancy. I believed him, and decided to see him with this pregnancy, I have GD and my sugars are well controlled. However, when I have appointments I wait patiently for hours to be seen, the girls do all the scanning (not sure if there even certified) then he comes in for less than 2 minutes and doesn't address any questions or concerns I have or he just dismisses everything. Last Vist my blood pressure was high twice and they didn't even retake it before a left. He is always late, which puts him behind. So for the patients that showed up on time or early gets the crappy end of the stick because he trys to get you out of the Office ASAP. Women with high risk pregnancies shouldn't have to feel like they are putting out their doctor, being pregnant alone is scary, but even more so being high risk because you never know what the outcome will be. I urge you to seek out a different specialist if at all possible. And honestly I'm not sure if my second baby is going to make it, I'm 37 weeks and 5 days pregnant and isn't growing again. But Dr. Samadi won't address it or have my OB induce as a precaution, so I guess I'll just have to wait and see the outcome! read more

Should have left when I seen patients walking out of the restroom with a open Dixie cup of pee and place it at the front office desk where people check in. Very Unprofessional office. When you have a so called doctor repeat to you what you just told him and tries to explain that thats the reason your there is pure fraud. I'm grateful that this office, this doctor, is where my High Risk pregnancy care is given. Dr. Samadi is a patient, caring, concerned doctor who always listens and answers questions. Same with his staff- never have I been to an office where EVERYONE is nice and listens to anything you need to say or ask. This is my second pregnancy with Dr. Samadi and I'd recommend him to anyone, 100%. Admittedly, there's a bit of a wait in the waiting room. BUT you understand why once it's your turn to be seen.
