i came to dr. ahdoot's office after experiencing abdominal pain that i suspected was related to my reproductive system. i was able to get an appointment within a few days compared to month or more waits at all the other gyno's. when i asked about insurance, the office said that they took my provider. however, they did not disclose that they were out of network for me. pretty sketchy, right? that was an unpleasant surprise for me later. dr. ahdoot was very rushed and there was little explanation offered for what was going on with my body. i was prescribed birth control and dr. ahdoot didn't go over any of the risks. i had no idea about the risks for blood clots or anything until a different gyno at another practice told me. this still makes me upset. so much for informed care? i felt judged for my choice of birth control and for never trying birth control pills before. i found this odd, because birth control is a personal choice and the method i was using was more effective than pills. i left the office scared and disappointed. i wish he took more time with me rather than rushing off. i suspect he needed to run over to deliver a child or was backed up with patients. however, each patient is deserving of completed and informative care. overall, dr. ahdoot seems to be a sweet man, but i had unfortunate experiences that made me seek out another provider. read more

Dr. Ahdoot and his staff are hands down the best in their field. I have spent many years with pelvic pain and masking my pain. I saw Dr. Ahdoot on a Thursday and was in for surgery by the following Saturday. Dr. Ahdoot took the time to hear my story and not treat me like a number. His staff worked vigorously to get my insurance approvals and line everything up for me within less than a week. Dr. Ahdoot specializes in laparoscopic surgery using the di vinci machine. I have seen Dr. Ahdoot at his Burbank location and am very thankful that him and his wonderful staff come all the way to Palmdale, which is closer to where I live. Simply said, Dr. Ahdoot is the best physician I have ever had, EVER. He is extremely kind and knowledgeable. I usually have a million questions and he always takes the time to answer every one. Anytime I have had labs done, Dr. Ahdoot himself calls with the results. He really goes out of his way to work around my needs and makes me feel like a star.
