Quick, Professional, and Compassionate Care This was my first time visiting a Planned Parenthood, and I was genuinely impressed by the experience. Due to the holidays, I was having a hard time getting an appointment anywhere else for a pressing issue. I was dealing with severe side effects from my birth control implant, and Planned Parenthood got me in quickly with their next available appointment. The staff was incredibly attentive, knowledgeable, and respectful. From the spotless seating areas and waiting rooms to the professionalism of the team, everything felt clean and organized--just like a well-run hospital. The nurse and provider were so kind and gentle during the Nexplanon removal. They took the time to educate me about wound care and alternative birth control methods, which I really appreciated. I was in and out within an hour, which was amazing considering how thorough and caring the staff was. I know there are a lot of opinions about Planned Parenthood, but my experience reminded me how vital these clinics are for women like me who need timely and professional care. The parking lot had plenty of spaces available, which made things easy, and there are stores nearby if someone waiting for you wants to pass the time elsewhere. I am extremely disappointed with my experience at Planned Parenthood. I reached out because I needed care and believed this was a place that helped people who may not have access to affordable healthcare. Instead, I was told I would not be seen because I "made too much," even though I barely make enough to cover my expenses. I was also told that my partner of over 7 years could not be counted as part of my household/family size for assistance purposes, and I was not offered any alternative resources, payment options, or help finding affordable care. I was simply told the cost would be $450+. I understand there are eligibility guidelines, but the way this was handled left me feeling dismissed and unsupported. I went there expecting compassion and assistance, not to be turned away without options. I hope they can improve how they communicate with patients who are seeking care and may be struggling financially. read more

I love this place!!! The front desk staff and alwayssss kind and friendly. They're always fast (thankfully) and the RNP Candice is amazing. Worst Planned Parenthood I've been to. I had an appointment at 1:15 and ended up leaving at 4:30 for a simple birth control procedure. I was asked to undress and then a nurse came in saying that they unfortunately had to go on a 10 minute break. They didn't come back to the room until 25 minutes later. Love coming to this location, I was seen by provider Alex and she's absolutely amazing! She really hears you out about concerns and reassures you and educates on everything you're coming in for. My ma for the day was great as well her name is Rosie very friendly and professional answered all my questions and made me feel so comfortable. The wait time wasn't bad and I feel I always have a good experience here. My last visit I saw Sally and she was amazing as well! Overall good experience the medical assistants and physicians are very professional and take their time to answer questions and educate you. read more

Don't come here, terrible practices, terrible service throughout! I came to my appointment 50 minutes early, before my appointment was set to start, but didn't get called until over 30 minutes AFTER my appointment was set to start (I waited for nearly 2 hours). When I arrived there was only 1 other person, since then I saw several (at least 4) people who came after me but were helped first. And No one apologized or explained so I can at least feel acknowledged and confident I was still in line. Another huge red flag - they have flyers advertising a free goodie bag. When I asked the girl I the front how I can get it she said "leave us a 5 star yelp review". That is super UNETHICAL and promotes false reviews! Also, when I came in I asked the girl in the front for another mask. She kept yelling at me "go through the door, pens and clips are on the other side." I asked politely again and then she asked me "Spanish?" I don't think she meant to be racist even though it felt like it, I think she just didn't take a moment to listen. TERRIBLE SERVICE. On the subject of masks, when I made the appointment it said we should wear one. There was a sign. I wore one. I waited outside to be buzzed in. I assumed because of these precautions they were very health conscious but yet they did not even bother enforcing the mask rule. There was a girl in the waiting room, listening to videos on her phone in super loud audio in a tiny room, coughing and not wearing a mask. Seriously??? Why bother with all these precautions if they won't be enforced! I understand that they provide low cost health care services that are needed and vital, I don't expect a whole lot of customer service training but at least some basic respect. read more

Worst. They insist on doing a pregnancy test every visit even if you're in for something that has nothing to do with pregnancy; surely they wanna be able to bill and collect more money. You call and explain your problem and they make you an appointment. You arrive and "we don't do that here", why did you have me make an appointment and come in then? I clearly described the situation. They were, however, able to tell me I wasn't pregnant, which, duh, I was well aware of considering I was Niagara Falls-ing blood from my uterus. ... what exactly do you do here besides bill for unnecessary services?? read more

Looking at previous reviews and I feel like they're doing better when it comes to wait times. I've visited before COVID-19 and durning and they truly are making the best effort to attend you if you didn't make an appointment, even with an appointment I have always been taken care of at a decent timely manner. I'd like to give a special thank you to Sophia and Dr. Huung. They were both very kind and informative. I am only here for a 10 minute visit. I have an appointment. Somehow, I've been shooting in the waiting room 2 hours! It's ridiculous. Idc that this place is all inclusive on the patients they see.. that's great. I don't know why they would overbook themselves so much that it's impossible to be seen in a timely matter! Today I went in for an appointment Monday 3/4/24 as bad as it is coming in to this place already. Can I just say the lady with the curly blonde hair is freakin rude as hell she is not nice to be in the front at all. She is so unprofessional unapproachable with attitude tells you  "CAN I HELP YOU " ID AND INSURANCE SIT DOWN !! She is the first person everyone greets when they come in where are her manners !! Shes like this with every patient coming in the waiting room watching her how she is talking to patients. She has really bad customer service. I would not recommend this place at all to any family or friends i will not be coming back here if this is how your treated here . She really has to go back to training. If you do not like interacting with people this is not the job for you we are here to get care not to get mistreated! My service in the back was amazing my nurse was very helpful and answered my questions she made me feel safe and comfortable. For todays walk in visit I was helped by Stephanie M. and Pilar C. Walks in can occasionally take a while but today I was seen with an hour. Came to test for just one thing and left, but then immediately regretted not getting a full panel testing. I drove back within minutes of leaving. Everytime I come in with an appointment I always wait in the waiting room for an hour + this is absolutely ridiculous. It's an appointment for a reason and as I'm sitting people are walking in as walk ins and going right in. This is not acceptable. The times I do come in as a walk in it's the same BS it'll take close to 3 hours to get out. I understand they may be busy at times but it is not acceptable that they have a n appointment waiting for longer than walk ins, I scheduled an appointment for a reason to get seen faster to be in and out because I have others events after in my life. read more

As a guy i dont feel the strong urge to go to planned parenthood for my regular testing needs. Usually im more comfortable with going to an LGBTQ center. I was lucky enough to get helped by Bianca and Natalie. They made the experience actually fun and not as freaking nerve wrecking as it usaully is. They answered alot of my questions really well so that i was able to understand.  I didnt feel any judgement which made it easier for me to be upfront and honest to their questions. The front staff were nice as well. Over all i felt like this was a safe and clean space. I would def come back for regular testing and condoms as needed. read more

Made a appointment. Rang the door made me wait 15 minutes outside in rain. Once I got inside filled out my paper work I noticed no one was getting called in and the room was full of people. I had to wait in the other waiting room... handed my paper work over and I asked how long is the wait if I had a appointment for this time right now, and she there's four people ahead of me waiting... that could be a hour to a hour and a half. thought it was weird I had to make a appointment for something that very concerning. This is my second visit to a Planned Parenthood site, and by comparison, I had a much better experience here than at the other location. I came in as a walk-in about 5 minutes before opening time and I was allowed inside to my surprise. I thought that I would be told to wait. I was helped out right away with just one piece of paperwork (since I am already in the system) and inside seeing someone within 15-20 minutes of turning in that paperwork. I was out of the place soon after. Everything went smoothly, the ladies were all very nice and helpful, and I just had a really good experience! The call center was VERY rude & had an attitude whole time while she was scheduling my appointment. Then upon arriving, i was treated by this very judgmental staff member who assumed I had a partner instead of practicing the professional training they went thru to work there & simply asking first. Then to make things worse, she dropped the needle & poked my arm before it was actually time for my blood to be drawn! Then when she finally does poke me she couldn't draw blood so she had to ask another lady to come draw blood which she end up doing just fine. So I walked out with 2 extra shots in my arm all cause she didn't know what she was doing. Just ridiculous. Wouldn't recommend by a long shot. read more

No starts for this place seriously I came in the morning today September 22nd 2022 to get a plan B pill they said to come in the afternoon after I waited for about 2 hours and no luck with walk ins they keep getting appointments in but no walkings before they used to get two appointments and one walking in between now they should not offer that choice because literally they don't take walk ins in, I did as they told me and came back at 12:40pm waited until 2pm and then one of the staffs came to said they are not taking appointments on the next house, I waited anyways for that hours then told them I'm still here waiting an hour had passed and then at 3:23pm the lady saw me and I know she probably said she's still waiting yes I was waiting because I needed my plan b and because I had already wasted all my day waiting, this place really sucks I don't even think they care about what we as patients says. They are first of all giving false advertising by saying they do take walk ins people is outside waiting on sun , or cold whatever and they just ignored our needs, it's not like your seen us for free, anyways I hope they shut this place down since all they do is lie to patients over and over. read more

I can't praise this place enough. After dealing with poor customer service yesterday and earlier today at other medical facilities, this was a breath of fresh air. I actually started cheering in my car when I left the building. The wonderful workers here answer all of your questions without seeming annoyed or bothered. I went in as a walk in with no appointment and waited maybe 20 minutes to enter the building, and an maybe additional 10 minutes to see a very polite and knowledgeable doctor. Even if there was a longer wait time, I wouldn't have cared because of the level of kindness and care. It was clean, well organized, and fast. Everyone was professional and polite here. They seem to actually care when their patients speak. They take the time to listen fully without interruption and then help to the best of their abilities. That's all I ever look for when going in for a medical issue. I was even able to ask additional questions after my appointment and they didn't seem upset about that either! They went above and beyond when a lot of other places in town are extremely burnt out from Covid and it shows in their attitude/responses.
