I would prefer a doctor who doesn't prejudge patients based on unknowns. I was told he was a good doctor. He told me he could not help me, suggested I had other medical issues I did not currently have or ever have, and refused to renew medications I would die without. I am glad there are better doctors in the world. This one should step away from the medical industry. read more

I see Dr Chaudhary every year. He has always been kind, thorough, and attentive. This means a lot to me because most dr's don't take women seriously at all. I feel this Dr treated me like he would any other patient. I really like him and his staff. About his staff! His staff is among the best staff in the AV!!!! TERRIBLE FRONT office workers, they all need to be fired, or retrained. Dr. Choudhary is very personable, with excellent surgical skills. His front office called me , and asked to be on time, I was 20 minute early but waited 1 1/2 hours while other people walk right in, I finally left and told them to get organized and that I will find another cardiologist, goodbuy. There are many other competent doctors with a more organized front office don't go there until he fires his front office staff. read more

I cannot endorse this doctor strongly enough. He went out of his way three separately times to accommodate me so I could have an unrelated surgery as scheduled. He even had his staff contact me after the surgery to make sure I was ok. This was unexpected but very much appreciated He is obviously a very caring person and as a doctor made me feel very calm and cared for as heart issues can be disconcerting. His staff is great. -------- I really like this doctor and staff, however the wait can be obscene. I've been here 90 minutes and haven't gotten in to see the doctor yet. Waited 2 months to get an appointment, having chest pain and history of strokes. Finally got in. Arrived 15 minutes early in case there was a problem with the paperwork I filled out in advance. After waiting over an hour, 45 minutes after my scheduled appointment I left. I've worked in medical offices and find it extremely RUDE when front office staff cannot inform waiting room patients the doctor is running behind but would see you soon. They DO charge if you miss your appointment without giving 24 hour notice, but they have no problem leaving you sitting in the waiting room long after your scheduled appointments. When I informed the front desk I was leaving, she actually asked me if I wanted to reschedule!! I said I've been waiting an hour! She calmly replied, "I'll let the doctor know." No apology. No explanation. No estimate of how much longer the wait would be. No explanation if they had an emergency. NOTHING!! Obviously this office feels your time is of no value. Looks like it's back to UCLA or Santa Monica. In 20+ years, I haven't found a single doctor in the AV that puts their patients first. read more

My son was born with a CHD and he recently turned 18. He is healthy but will need a good cardiologist for life. If your the mother of a child born with a heart defect you know what I mean by wanting someone amazing to watch your child's heart. I called a month ago and spoke the staff for an appointment from the moment I called they were nothing out helpful. Today we went in the receptionist was amazing the whole Office super nice. My son was comfortable for an 18 year old that's saying something. Our experience is not over we have another test coming up in a week. I was so worried about switching after going to the same doctor for 18 years. I feel confident this Doctor is going to be amazing he was very caring and attentive. The office staff has always been very helpful and accommodating. I have professional colleagues who see him, and their comments were glowing as well. Dr Choudhary is fabulous one of the best. But if you are traveling from anywhere but Palmdale to see him, DO NOT ARRIVE EARLY. You will be punished. On the other hand if you are late they charge you an extra fee. I thought that his staff was professional and very caring until this visit. After driving for two hours to get there I was kept waiting until an hour past my appointment time on 21 Mar 2017 because we had arrived at 1:30 for a 2:15 appointment. I did not ask to be seen early I told her that I would wait. We have always arrived early, because we have that drive, we leave home early as we never know what the road conditions are going to be. Choudhardy was referred to my mother by AV Hospital after she had a heart attack at the Kaiser Clinic, Lancaster. He stated that because of her history of smoking and diabetes II, he would not preform a stent needed for life sustaining purposes. He went on to say "You Did it to Yourself" and "That's What You Get!" She was transferred to ICU and died from a heart attack. read more
