Dr.Kumar has been my cardiac physician for over 18 years. He is very professional and knowledgeable about the cardiac system. He keeps current on what's new in the cardiac field. The staff are friendly and very efficient. They get to know their patients and help you with your needs. Wait times have been cut way down which is much appreciated. My elderly mother was treated horribly at your office this morning, 11/13. Not only was she told after sitting in the waiting room for 45 minutes that the machine they were to use on her was broken, the receptionist was incredibly rude to her while allowing other patients to speak LOUDLY on their cell phones and play music also very loudly. My mother is having surgery in less than a week and is already scared! The next time she goes *I* will be there to ENSURE she is NOT treated that way again! read more

Well I will start this review out with the wait time. My grandma had an appointment and we waited in the waiting room for 40 minutes and then in the exam room for another 40 minutes. When we did get to see the doctor he was brusque, but pleasant. He went over my grandma's tests, gave us good news and dictated the whole visit into his computer. I would recommend him as a cardiologist, but be prepared to wait. As one of the main cardiologists in the Valley he is in high demand, and I know the ER doctors are calling him often to consult on admitted patients. read more

Dr. Kumar is an excellent doctor. He takes good care of my mother and makes sure to thoroughly examine her medication as well as explain what is happening with her heart or anything else he sees in the tests we take for her. I'm extremely happy with how he's very kind and respectful to her as well. He's very professional and good at what he does and you can tell that he's well organized when I see him work. I would recommend this doctor to others. The lobby is big and yes it takes awhile to be seen sometimes but it's worth the wait. There's a tv inside and bathroom is clean too. Dr. Kumar asked me if I had any questions Regarding my sons visit , when I asked how long will it take to get my sons heart monitor he said (well things don't just happen like that and snapped his fingers at me. Now this is after he already shushed me He then asked me well did I answer Your question I said no but I'm not gonna ask anymore and then he proceeded to say well if you're not happy you can go somewhere else. He spent more time on his personal phone call and text than he did examining my son. His staff was great but they were being treated like we were. He just acted like women were in-superior. I've been seeing Dr. Kumar for over 20 years. He is nice enough and well educated but his professionalism towards his patients and staff show complete disrespect! Every time I come here there is a terrible wait. I even made an appt for the first patient of the day and he was over a half hour late arriving to work. I get that doctors are busy and important people but this is just rude. I've never been seen on time. As I sit here writing this I am in a full waiting room and my appt time was 1 hour and 30 minutes ago. I'm still waiting to be called. I've voiced my aggravation to the staff and they are frustrated as well. They are made to work late and then the office mgr complains to them to stop with the overtime. read more

On my first visit the office staff was extremely rude. The doctor had me complete some test. My appointment was postponed a month and a half as the dr had an emergency and was then going on vacation. When I arrived I waited an hour and a half before being seen. Not one staff member came in to check on me. They walked around the office without a care for the patients waiting. I had a heart attack in 2006 in SF and was under the care of UC/SF Heart Care Center there.. I came back to Lancaster in 2007 and have been under Dr. Kumar's care since then. Dr. Kumar has guided me through some very serious heart ailments and conditions. Because of him and his thorough testing by his extremely efficient staff and my frequent, scheduled office visits I became a candidate for open heart surgery. I relied 100% on Dr. Kumar's judgement and medical expertise and without question or reservation, I had a 7 hour aortic valve implant operation along with a 3rd stint added at the UCLA Medical Center in 2017. My condition was hereditary. My father had died from it early on and a cousin died of it unknowingly 2 months before my operation was scheduled at a much younger age. If you are suffering, don't delay. Ask your questions, do your research and just know that Dr. Kumar's objective is saving lives ! read more

Is this a joke? Wait times are crazy appt at 1 wait till 2. Don't even bother to try to call, was trying to get refills they put me on hold for over 5 min then the just suddenly started to ring to nowhere so I called back and they don't even say oh sorry about that how may I help you. I think the staff missed the Customer Service class?! Oh wait they probably don't have time to even offer that. Oh and get this I tell her what I need and she just transferred me to a voicemail...seriously poor customer service skills! read more

I would not recommend this office for any of your issues. Kumar is the most ignorant doctor I have seen, EVER. Make an appointment, come to the office wait for 1-2 hours (has happened every visit 5 visits so far). The staff is friendly. When you talk to Kumar it's like it goes in one ear and out the other. BTW he has the most ignorant attitude I have seen. In the middle of a session I was explaining to him my problem and he interrupts me to tell his nurse to let the staff know to go to lunch. Are you serious!!!!! At the end of the visit they forgot (twice so far) to give me information papers and also they forgot once to fill my new prescription. Try calling him and get a call back, forget about it! Ain't going to happen! Never! This doctor is a complete and utter joke, where did he get his license from? read more
