The rest of this business, from the front office, back office, scheduling and billing is an absolute nightmare: ZERO STARS!!! I'd rather smash my hand with a hammer than deal with them. They are more interested in talking to each other than doing their jobs. They are rude, snarky, unprofessional and incompetent. The DMV and TSA agents are friendlier, more patient, more compassionate and more competent than this office staff. When you call, you are on hold for a ridiculous long time. When the call finally connects you hear them talking and laughing in the background for 15-20 seconds they hang up on you. When you finally get thru to a person, they treat you like you're a burden and they're doing you a HUGE favor by scheduling an appointment. I needed a cardiac release for a medical procedure, so they asked me to come in. No problem, we'll fax it right over. After 6 weeks, multiple voicemails and even faxes from the provider requesting the release, they have not faxed it. They have two payment options, in person or US Mail. I paid bills in person and get a receipt for the payment. They cannot seem to post the payments to my account. I keep getting bills when I've already paid, and I keep taking the bill and proof of payment in to the office and they don't know what to do. Then I get a FINAL NOTICE for a bill paid MONTHS ago and the still have not idea of what to do. I am amazed they are still in business! Dr K - do yourself a huge favor and fire EVERYONE in the front/back office, scheduling and billing and get yourself some competent employees.

May I just go with T? You are one Tough lady with a beautiful smile. 3. Yes, everyone waits. I've experienced that as well. If he makes time to speak with you... Guess what, he does it for everyone. Some people more than other's. My bad, I went in one day to drop something off and the Doc was away. No one was in the waiting room. Truly a first in 4+ years. Small reminder. One would never know by looking or speaking to her. She has a real congenital condition. Great student and an all around great kiddo. She has to get her blood drawn every few months. Do you think she complains about anything? Nope! To The "Oh Neg's" grow up. Our M is so focused on school, we make her appointments around her schedule not Dr. Patel's. 7. Everyone that comes to his office has a medical condition, some have more or less than yourself. Be kind and respectful if all else fails, think Tolerance. 8. Dr. Patel a Bully? You must not have attended 3rd. grade. Why are you (below) calling him that? He cares about you and wants you to be healthy. Did Dr. Patel do this in front of other's? Don't lie now. It was in private and you didn't listen. Did he berate you in front of other patients? The answer is a Huge NO. Getting bullied to be healthier....new concept for me. 9. To "Kitty", he does that for all patients, wanna know why? Have you ever been in his office (rhetorical sarcasm in case you didn't get it). It's called pharmaceutical continuity. I have never seen his office empty. If you do please take a photo with a time and date. No after hours pics, please. 10. If you're a voter guess what, prescriptions are now monitored and scrutinized more than ever. Knowing how busy he is and he doesn't know every medication you're taking. Dr. Patel is doing you and everyone else a favor. Pharmaceutical drugs mixed with other pharmaceutical drug can and will kill you. 11. You are aware that he travels to take care of those in need in other countries. Some places don't have medical care or specialist. 12. I've been scolded by him, it's not personal. He literally said - "I don't care about your brain or body. I've been doing this for 25 years." He's a one trick pony incapable or unwilling or both to look a patient's complete profile. He IS the reason not to see Drs in AV. My experience out here is that they are all second rate, old, out of touch people. If they were any good they'd be practicing closer to the city. We don't attract talent!!

Good Doctor, questionable ethics. Dr Gill's front office is dominated by a mean aggressive manager…read morenamed Cheryl. Her poor attitude and explosive personality is what frightened me. The girls behind the desk are in Cheryl's domain and several of them think it's ok to behave rudely to patients. None of them look very happy with their jobs. Why? My guess is Cheryl who is backed up by Dr Gill. Instead of hearing both sides of the story, Dr Gill relies on Cheryl and I guess if you piss her off - by pointing out her mistakes - you can expect retaliation. It's indicative of the politics of this office. This atmosphere - to me - pervades the entire office. It's too bad. Dr Gill - under supervision - implanted a monitoring device under my skin. Experimental device made by Boston Scientific. 7 months later I get a bill for $7000 for the device. I ignore the bill. 4 weeks later I get another bill so I attempt to contact Dr Gill's office manager (Cheryl). Cheryl did not return my call so I reluctantly contacted Blue Cross. After I called Blue Cross they straightened things out. The next time I saw Cheryl at an appointment - and tried to explain that I would always call her first - she lost her temper and told me to leave and never come back. She claimed she called me (she didn't) and proceeded to eject me from the office. Dr Gill should know better, but he seemed to be annoyed at me because I told him that I thought Trump was a disaster. So if you want to support Dr Gill, remember that he supports Trump. He certainly doesn't support the rank and file like me. Beware of Cheryl though - it appears to me that she has a mean streak. She approached me the very first time in a hostile and aggressive manner and it seems some of her aggressive behavior may have rubbed off on a few of their staff. Dr. Gill? He should know better. I believe he has undertaken more work than he can manage. I don't want to believe he tried to scam me out of $7,000, but from every angle it appears when he was unable to do so, he lost interest in being my Doctor.

Dr. Martinez and Joshua Medical Group are the best in the area. He listens and takes the time…read moreneeded with each patient. There is no rushing you out of the office or not answering all your questions. The office staff is great. If needed he is willing to do Telehealth the same day if necessary.
