We ordered tacos: Carne asada, carnitas and pastor. The best ones were the asada tacos. They were good.

Been to the Walnut Creek location and fell in love so my expectations were high for this spot!…read more Cool looking truck in a parking lot with plenty of parking next to a convenience store. I ordered a spicy chicken sando with Mac and Cheese and the side and the sando was EXCELLENT. Chicken Sando 10/10: Bread was soft and sweet, chicken was cooked perfectly all throughout which made it super soft and easy to eat. Wasn't messy at all. Definitely would order again Mac & Cheese 2/10: The seasoning on the Mac wasn't really good or there, it tasted almost watered down if I could put it into words? but the noodles were pretty good nevertheless. Wouldn't order it again unless it was cheesier and less bland? I'm sure it was just a one time thing though maybe with this batch. Parking 10/10 (not sure about busier hours) Service: 10/10 as well, the guys here are really nice and have great attitudes Food: 8/10

My team at work likes to order here and then send a runner to pick it up…read more I decided to pick some up for my ohana without realizing they use peanut oil. Sheesh, scary stuff and that was it for da ohana. My work team, on the other hand, still likes to go. Love the fries, that spice they use is kickin' and the sando is mouth watering. My big complaint is consistency. Order the medium every time and getting the right heat experience is almost like going fishing. Sometimes it's mild and chill, other times it's a scorcher, and once in a while, you smile and feel they got it right. For me that is key, I need to know what I am getting and they get it right maybe 30 percent of the time. For baseball, that is a decent ERA, but for food, nah that's not right. And then, every now and then, someone else gets there first and picks up our order. Not real big on the apologies or making sure peeps picking up the right bags. Cool lookin' truck, good food, when they get it right, and when our order is actually there for pick up, but miss the mark a bit too often.

This food truck serves up great cheesesteak and other sandwiches with some unique options…read more I ordered the Flying Pig. When it showed up, it was loaded with bacon, ham, pineapple, chicken, pork and more! It was a beast of a sandwich! To maintain my beauty (??) in the presence of the beast, I only ate about a third of it. The rest of it was just fine reheated later on. Grillaz Gone Wild has fun takes on the BBQ sandwich, and does them well. They sure do not skimp on ingredients! The food truck staff was fun, friendly and gave helpful hints about the items on offer. They serve the classic cheesesteaks, but I think that they stand out for their unique interpretations of the classic sandwiches. The Flying Pig. Does it intrigue you? Trust me, the pineapple pulls the flavour together. Now, search for Grillaz Gone Wild and catch that Flying Pig!

We decided to try this food truck for dinner last night since it was nearby. We shared the pepper…read moresteak sandwich and the loaded fries. The pepper steak sandwich was stuffed with hot cherry peppers and the ribeye meat was pretty dry. There wasn't enough American cheese on it. The loaded fries were a good portion. The fries were lightly seasoned with all seasoning salt. They were crispy. However, it was smothered in too much cheddar cheese and scallions. There wasn't much bacon on it and the ribeye meat was in large pieces which didn't make it as enjoyable. A little pricey for what it's worth as we spent ~$26 on 2 items. :/

One of the best trucks in Hayward. Welcoming and friendly staff. This was our first time stopping…read moreby and we did not regret it! The carne asada tacos and carne asada torta were hella good. The carne was grilled to perfection and flavorful. They have a seating area that is covered so we decided to sit and eat while everything was hot and fresh. It's located on the side of a busy street, but there is plenty of parking on the side of the road across from the truck and the auto shop. We will def be coming back to try other items on the menu or whenever we are craving quality authentic tacos

I was excited to try this spot given the high reviews. Maybe we came at an off day but the items we…read moreordered fell short on our expectations. The workers were super friendly and gave recommendations. I got the carnitas plate which came with rice/beans, a couple tacos, and a burrito (believe it was carne asada). The carnitas were almost dry, and lacked flavor. The beans on the plate tasted watered down, and the rice also fell flat. I was pretty disappointed in my $20 plate. The carne asada and al pastor on the tacos also lacked flavor, and I left feeling disappointed. The burrito was also OK, out of everything we ordered it was the only decent item. I wanted to like this spot but the flavors and taste were not there for us. Given several taco spots around the area, we probably have to pass on this one next time.
