By the time we left you couldn't even walk out, with so many people by the door trying to come in. The waiter was super nice and was always around removing empty plates and asking if we needed anything. I ordered the mini lobster bisque which was a joke. I didn't want to order a regular one and get full. The mini was tiny. See my photos. It is so delicious I wish I did get the full portion. My main entrée was chicken parm with penne pasta. I asked for the spicy sauce and thank God the waiter asked if I had it before. He brought me out a sample and spicy is beyond spicy. It tastes great with bread but on the entrée, it would have been overpowering. The chicken parm was huge and tasted to pure perfection. For dessert, you definitely have to try the tiramisu. You get a giant cup of perfectly made dessert. You can share with your loved one, it's so huge. See my photo. Definitely save some room for it. It's just that good. I can't wait to get back out to Long Island and come back to this place again. The menu has plenty of options so you won't run out of something new to try.

The appertizers from the fried calamari, tender and delicious, to the baked clams to the sausage and pepper sliders were delicious. At Vincent's it like you're at your Grandmothers table and you go home with a care package. You will NEVER be disappointed when you eat at Vincent's of Carle Place. Chicken was a requested substitution for the veal (no problem) piccata-great meal. I love the warm and cozy atmosphere and the staff is absolutely more than accommodating. We shared the hot antipasto. The shrimp scampi was different with earthy herbs and it was delicious. The stuffed mushrooms were my favorite. They were overstuffed and delicious. The baked clams were so good as was the tender eggplant rollatini. We also enjoyed their bread basket and herb dipping sauce. And I want to mention as soon as we were down to one piece of bread, the waiter brought another full basket along with more sauce. So good. We tried all different raviolis. You can actually order one serving with two different types of filling and sauce. The apple ravioli was the favorite at the table. It had a hint of sweetness and paired with Gorgonzola, you got the bite if salty. It was served with a triple sec Alfredo sauce. So good. My next favorite was the lobster ravioli. It had chunks of lobster and was served with a creamy brandy Dijon sauce with shrimp. Yum! The duck ravioli had plenty of flavor, also served with the Alfredo sauce and the mushroom ravioli was equally as good. For dessert: The no bake homemade raspberry cheesecake was light and creamy. It's bordered with ladyfingers and was my favorite. The bread pudding was thick and sweet and I loved their caramel sauce and whipped cream. There was also some sort of special torte which was amazing. We all enjoyed their cappuccino which was borderline creamy. It came with a biscotti, which we dunked, of course. I definitely recommend this place not only for their excellent food but also for their superior customer service.

I had to change plans quickly as I looked at the specials they had going on that day wow! We decided to go with the duck and the monkfish main course entrees instead. Life is about making the right choices and this was the best decision I made that day lol! The duck was cooked to perfection soft on the inside crispy on the outside wow! I really like how juicy and fatty the duck was very succulent and delicious yummy. I especially liked the wine sauce on top among taste sweet with a slight tart to it juts the right balance I was impressed. Definitely one of the best duck dishes I've ever had it's a special so I'm not sure if it will be available when you decide to go call ahead would be my suggestion and your best bet. Laslty the side with butter squash was also a delight to eat and treat! Second course was the monkfish which was great as well. It had a slightly Smokey flavor to my pallet and a slight crunch on the outside maybe it was torched or seared not sure. Whatever the case it was a great touch to the dish very tasty and juicy as well. I love the sauce and the sides were great mashed potatoes with broccoli yummy! I highly recommend this place for brunch, lunch, or dinner take your pick. They will not disappoint you at all that's for sure. I'm not sure how this place is in the evening as I've only gone during the day. I hope the chef gets to read this and know his work is appreciated and noticed! The staff and waiters are very accommodating and knowledgeable about the entrees and food in general. Great service and energy I will come again and repeat whenever possible. I liken the music they play in the background it's not too loud and always sets a great tone for the place. The windows bring in great light and the decor is tasteful and elegant gives a bistro vibe to me personally. You might think differently let us know anyway. We were seated immediately after we walked in, at a table by the window looking out onto Old Country Road. The service, as always, was excellent. Our waitress was pleasant, and attentive. A big basket of warm pizza bread arrived almost immediately while we were waiting for our food. It was so good that by the time our entrées arrived, I was already almost full! I had the linguine seafood, while Hubby ordered tonight's chicken special. Both dishes were super tasty, flavorful, and satisfying--exactly what we were looking for after a long day. But what really made tonight's visit even more special was getting a chance to speak briefly with Juan, the manager, on our way out. I've known of Juan for at least 20 plus years, ever since I started coming here, and tonight I learned that he has actually been working at Café Baci for 38 years. That says a lot about both his dedication and this restaurant. I've eaten at restaurants all over the country, especially on both the East Coast and West Coast, as well as in many places throughout Canada. Over the years, I've had the opportunity to meet and interact with quite a few restaurant managers, and I have to say, Juan is truly one of the best I've come across. He is the whole package--compassionate, personable, genuinely caring, and incredibly professional. You can tell that hospitality isn't simply a job to him; he truly cares about his guests and takes pride in creating a great experience. Even our brief conversation left a wonderful impression on me. After all these years, Café Baci remains a reliable place for wonderful food, and people like Juan are what make a restaurant feel truly special. We always leave happy and satisfied, and tonight was no exception.

We started with an antipasto salad loaded with soft and hard cheeses, roasted zucchini, roasted eggplant, roasted red peppers, prosciutto, and a ham-and-cheese roll. Everything was fresh and delicious. For my entrée, I had the Rigatoni Bolognese , and my sister ordered the Lasagna. Both dishes were very good! I paired mine with a glass of Riesling, while my sister had a Whiskey Sour--which I completely forgot to take a picture of! Now, let's talk customer service. Our waiter was very attentive and checked on us regularly to make sure we had everything we needed. He provided good customer service. The bathroom was clean; however, it is a unisex bathroom with both a urinal and a toilet. Paris had the same setup. That being said, I'm not taking anything away from the food at Café Baci. The food was DELICIOUS, and I would return. MIXED BAG THIS VERDICT: NICE REVIEW Great Italian food, enjoyable meal, and definitely worth another visit.

The Crunch is superb and the calamari isn't rubbery. He got the veal parmigiano as a main. I got the whole roasted cauliflower to start and homemade rigatoni with broccoli rabe as an entree. Most of it came home to have full meals for 2 more days. I recommend this place highly.

Entering the restaurant, you get a feel of Italy with all the Italian artworks depicting scenes of Italy. The menu encompasses a broad range of delicacies including a great assortment of appetizers, numerous panini's, hero's, pizza, salads burgers, etc, but the stars of our dining experience were the food entrees. We began our dining experience munching on a scrumptious basket of garlic bread. I've found, over my many years of dining, that restaurants that serve a great bread basket always follow it up with great food, and this was Mauro. After reviewing a litany of appetizer items, we chose absolutely delicious artichokes oreganata. We followed the appetizer with an order of luscious eggplant parmigiana along with perfectly cooked al dente rigatoni. We also ordered gnocchi with a sublime pomodoro sauce. The sauce was not something typically seen, in as much it contained a nice quantity of onions. For dessert we had a debate between chocolate cake or a cannoli, keeping in mind that the restaurant is owned by a great bakery. Our waitress, Samantha (Sam) who was outstanding throughout, said it's a tossup. We finally agreed on the chocolate cake. When the dessert arrived, to our delight, there was an order of light and very tasty chocolate cake, and a creamy & crispy freshly filled cannoli, compliments of Samantha. In summary, we had an excellent meal coupled with outstanding service what more can you ask for in a restaurant? If possible, I recommend weekday dining. I was told it can busier on the weekend, and I would think noisy. Mangia!

The broccoli slice seemed like it was going to fall apart but it held together very well, it was also very light in weight but fluffy as can be. I was amazed but found it was the least of the two. Still enjoyable, I finished it. The sausage and peppers, AMAZINGLY delicious! Just enough sauce to keep it moist. Also not a very heavy slice yet really tasty. I found that it had just enough gravy, sausage, and peppers. This place is very upscale but casual dining is acceptable.
