I stumbled upon this place while driving. The decor inside is beautiful !! I was greeted upon arrival and whoever was at the door acknowledged it was my 1st time. I sat at the bar and my bartender Edward was very kind. I stated off with the grilled calamari and it was fresh complimented in a lemon sauce. My favorite item on the menu is their dessert. I enjoyed the olive oil cake. I recommend this place & would definitely return.

First I have to say the place is gorgeous and clean. Restroom is beautiful. There's a parking lot. Amazing service from Bella. 2 lunch menus- prix fixe or straight menu. 2 of us had the Lavraki- grilled whole loup de Mar. I had mine whole well done crunchy with lemon potato side. It was absolutely fabulous. A white un fishy fish. Capers on top. The other was a filet but still delicious My choice of appetizer was the Greek salad which was perfect. The best dressing and nice size slab of feta cheese The others had salads with either salmon or chicken. Also Plori chips which were excellent. Deserts - olive oil cake -amazing and Plori cheesecake was good but we couldn't figure out what cheese it was. Maybe feta or ricotta A bit pricey esp a $19 martini and $15 deserts. I'd go back but would adjust what I eat. $85 for lunch (with tip) is a bit high for me

I visited here for a girls night with a larger group (7-8 ladies) and we were obsessed with how chic the inside of the restaurant was! Most of us hadn't been to the establishment since it became Plori, and only knew it as the Italian place! The staff was so sweet and accommodating and brought us to our table immediately - a nice quiet corner. We decided to go for a full on tapas style meal by ordering all their apps and only a couple mains and desserts. The highlights for me were the octopus - cooked SO perfectly, it's a must try!!! The Plori crisps, reminiscent of the ones from Kyma - so so so good!! The sauce on the side balanced it out SO perfectly! Their breads and dips were top notch as well! But the star of the show was their signature dessert - a Greek napoleon of sorts which had raspberry and crunchy bits - absolutely insane and out of this world!!!! While they did forget a couple of our items, and we had to remind them, it was overall a great experience, the only real con for me was the cost - it was definitely on the pricier side and portions were smaller than what we were paying for! Regardless - I do recommend for a visit! Such a fab restaurant!

Sitting on old country rd, Plori is a fine dining Greek restaurant that is adored by its locals and fans. The service is attentive but a tad slow. When we ate here, it was clear that they might've been a bit understaffed and we were missing a napkin at the start. That said, it's a great spot for either a date night out and a business meal! Taste: 3.5/5 Service: 3.5/5 Ambiance: 4/5 Value for money: 3/5 We had: 1) Complimentary bread: this was a standout! Although it was a tad burnt, it was not bad 2) Saganaki: if you've had Saganaki before, this would probably taste just like that 3) Plori Crisps: nicely salted, felt like there could've been more given its price point but not bad in taste 4) double bone in Pork Chop: one of the best pork chops I've ever had. 5) halibut: a little tasteless and okay 6) Arni Lamb Shank: overly salted but it was very tender All in all, there were hits and misses. The restaurant is not bad and is definitely worth it. Once in a while!

Very good Greek food. The service was friendly, but a little clueless. The owner is extremely nice and hospitable. Tables are too close so forget about quiet conversation. The decor was spartan but nice. Glad I went. Too many better options to try a second time. But definitely try for yourself. The food will not disappoint.

I found myself yet again at a restaurant that I've passed a "gazillion" times and always told myself I must try it. Well, this year, it was suggested that we try Plori for our annual holiday party. Located steps away from Roosevelt Field Mall, you can't miss this chi restaurant with its meditation seaside vibe. The outside with its mostly front is elegant and inside you will be treated to gorgeous decor and a vibrant atmosphere. I promise you, throughout your meal and between welcome authentic bites, you will find yourself marveling at the decor and beautiful staff. My party enjoyed a variety of dishes off the menu. I had the swordfish and tasted a sample from my coworkers plates. Everything was simply divine. The appetizers were fresh and all of the sauces and spreads left us all wanting for me. I highly recommend Plori to friends, family, and anyone taking the time to read this review. I can't wait to return for drinks, food, and plori's exceptional service.

Grilled shrimp and Grilled octopus for appetizers. Favorite is the Lamb, Greek salad, lemon potatoes. Dessert with the pistachios on top. Leche drink, it's pink. The managers walk around and greet you at your table to find out what your dining experience is like. He found out we were celebrating our anniversary and he brought over 2 shots. We loved it. Wonderful experience at this restaurant.

I'll start by saying it was our first time there, and we were celebrating my niece's graduation. From the moment we walked in, the owner, Fonda, greeted us with such love, respect, and grace. His hospitality was truly heartfelt. Our waiter was absolutely amazing he knew the menu well and gave excellent recommendations with professionalism and kindness. The overall vibe from everyone was incredibly positive and welcoming. Now, the best part the food. Hands down, this was some of the freshest seafood I've had in a really long time. Every entrée was packed with flavor and absolutely delicious. Every single plate impressed us. The drinks were also fantastic. We were a party of six and were accommodated so kindly. Honestly, we felt like we were at home, just from the warmth and energy of the staff. It was such a memorable experience, and we were truly blown away by the food. This is a genuine review, and I left so happy that I couldn't wait to share it.

This Greek restaurant is really good. The food is fresh and tasty, and the best part is the decor . It feels like you're in modern Greece when you're there. I recommend it if you like Greek food and want a nice place to eat. The have valet parking and great severs ! The only comment I have is that the restrooms should be cleaned or inspected by manager more frequently . There is a huge spider web in between the women's bathroom stalls.

I'll start by saying that aesthetically, everything looks amazing and the portions are huge. The menu is interesting. There wasn't SO much that I wanted (a strange amount of Panko-breaded options) but ultimately settled on the Pegasus wrap (which I see now isn't even on the menu on the website but is orderable?). It's essentially a lamb gyro wrap with French fries, onions, and spicy feta sauce. The lamb gyro I felt was a bit lacking in both seasoning and amount. I'll never really support raw onions in a dish, so that was a bummer. But what I think really ruined this wrap for me was the spicy feta sauce. I'm not totally sure the thought process behind this choice, but it doesn't work for this combination of ingredients. And I can handle spicy pretty well but this was really quite spicy. I would have much preferred a normal feta/tzatziki combo. And the French fries in every wrap/sandwich is a choice and kind of overpowered the other ingredients. That being said, I would consider going back for something else on the menu because the prices (especially for the portion) is nice.

If you prefer to just order something off the menu, they also have salads / plates for that as well. I enjoyed the fresh salad ingredients that they provided in my meal. The tzatziki sauce always hits the spot with their gyro style meat that was very flavorful. Definitely would try their platters next time since I love having pita when I get Greek food but the build your own option was only ~$10 so definitely a great value for what you get. I also got their fresh Greek yogurt with Greek honey. I've never seen this option on the menu of a Greek spot before and was definitely intrigued. It was very fresh and thick, my perfect type of Greek yogurt. The honey wasn't overly sweet either and was the perfect accompaniment to the yogurt. Although it was ~$7, they give 2 big scoops of yogurt. You can also choose a different topping but I choose honey. I also ordered roasted eggplant and grilled vegetables. The roasted eggplant was unique since it was more of a dip. It came with fresh pita that was super soft and fluffy. They really have some of the best pita! The grilled vegetables were simple and nothing special. Overall, a great value for the build your own option and very cool that they have fresh Greek yogurt!
