Lots to share but let's start with ambiance. Simply awful. Loud and dirty ....yes dirty. Certainly patrons drop things and food gets on floors but my goodness Give it a quick sweep. We had to change tables it was so gross. Plus I watched young man l clean and prep for next guests. Not very thorough. Then the TVs Why in the world do you need TVs. There we four of them and two were tuned tuned a real crime documentary so you got to watch murder scenes while i ate. Ugh! Noise level was horrendous Now the food Fairly priced; large portions. I had a the wedge salad added shrimp. Homemade dressing lacked flavor but shrimp were delicious and nicely cooked and large! Wife had a baked ziti with meatball. She's a vegetarian so I ate the meatball . Legit meatball and not overly salty. Perfect in my opinion Our guest had the rigatoni and a beet salad. All very good Staff were decent but overwhelmed. Great New Spot on Clements Ferry! We tried Salute for takeout and were really impressed! It's a new addition to Clements Ferry Road, so we wanted to give it a shot -- and they delivered (literally and figuratively). We ordered the Drunken Chicken, which is a fun play on words since it comes with vodka sauce, penne, and a perfectly crispy chicken cutlet. The portion size was generous, the chicken was fresh and crunchy, and the sauce was plentiful -- which I absolutely loved. I'm a "make it saucy" person, and they nailed it. Everything was wrapped in foil, and despite a 20-minute drive home, all the food was still piping hot. Huge win. We also tried the sausage meatball spaghetti (we subbed in angel hair), and my husband said the all-beef meatball was probably the best he's had at any restaurant around here. Another great portion size and great flavor. Overall, Salute made a fantastic first impression. Everything was delicious, fresh, and thoughtfully packed. Very nice remodel. Floor is slippery and place is small but feels cozy whether at a table or the bar. Food was good but menu should have the same items for the happy hour menu as the other location. Workers seem very attentive and eager to help. Gets crowded for sit down so keep an eye on when you should go if you want a table. Whoa!! New Italian single family owned restaurant just opened on Clements ferry Road in Wando. Unbelievably good food and reasonably priced. I think the pasta is homemade and they have a very reasonably priced imported wine menu. The bread service comes with garlic cloves in the olive oil. I had the stuffed rigatoni with chicken and my spouse had a northern Italian salmon dish. I'd suggest getting here before it gets too popular because they just opened three weeks ago. read more

We have been eating at Salute since it opened. I get the same dish everytime....chicken Marsala. The flavor is great and consistent. However, the chicken portion seems to get smaller every time we go. This last Tuesday I had seven small bites of chicken and it was gone. Im not sure a big guy would find this satisfying. read more

I wanted the experience to be amazing because of the lack of restaurants in the area. There was no bread service. Bread is on the appetizer menu. That is not a huge deal just something that we have grown accustomed to at Italian restaurants. I ordered fettuccine Alfredo with shrimp. The shrimp were well cleaned, large and plump and cooked to perfection. Unfortunately the Alfredo was super salty and the noodles were way undercooked. my wife ordered chicken Marsala and the portion size was large and the noodles were al dente but the Marsala had a harsh vinegar aftertaste that was off putting. We are going to monitor the reviews but at this point I would not recommend this restaurant. I wish them good fortune and hopefully things improve. read more

We have eaten here many times, both at the bar and table service. Service is always great, friendly staff. Food is very good. I especially enjoy the Chicken Marsala. Great portions. We have tried several things on the menu and all have been delicious. When we just want something small to eat, we will sit at the bar and have something off of the happy hour menu. Love the bartender and his limoncello. It does get somewhat noisy when it is crowded but the service and food make up for that. So glad that they are close by. read more

This restaurant does not disappoint! Joe is a fabulous host, yes host. We watched him greet each customer, pour wine and deliver bread. He came to our table and talked to us for several minutes, brought us a fabulous olive oil to try. The food is great, the atmosphere is charming and Joe makes it all work. My husband and I decided to try this place a few weeks ago and we're so glad we did. It's now our "go to" Italian place. I'm making my way through the menu and have loved everything so far. Great lasagna and eggplant parm, and the meatballs are amazing. We like to sit at the bar and chat with Adam, the bartender. Last week was our 28th anniversary and he gave us a glass of champagne on the house. So sweet and his Limoncello Martinis are dangerously good. Highly recommend. read more

Been there 3 times and each time they have been out of 2 or 3 menu items. No pizzas on the menu and pricey bread service. Needs improvement on sanitation, especially in the dining room. Observed servers using a generic bar towel to wipe down tables without any liquid cleaner or sanitizing agent. read more

Service was subpar. Waited 10 minutes for our server to ever acknowledge us. After we got our drinks the sweet tea tasted off. A different server delivered our food. Asked that server for a water since the tea was not good. Our food looked good but after tasting it there was no flavor. It was so bland and parts of mine and my husband dishes were cold. My husband said the only thing good he had was the meatball on his dish. We couldn't pay fast enough just to get out of there. read more
