    Sausage meatball angel hair

Great New Spot on Clements Ferry! We tried Salute for takeout and were really impressed! It's a new addition to Clements Ferry Road, so we wanted to give it a shot -- and they delivered (literally and figuratively). We ordered the Drunken Chicken, which is a fun play on words since it comes with vodka sauce, penne, and a perfectly crispy chicken cutlet. The portion size was generous, the chicken was fresh and crunchy, and the sauce was plentiful -- which I absolutely loved. I'm a "make it saucy" person, and they nailed it. Everything was wrapped in foil, and despite a 20-minute drive home, all the food was still piping hot. Huge win. We also tried the sausage meatball spaghetti (we subbed in angel hair), and my husband said the all-beef meatball was probably the best he's had at any restaurant around here. Another great portion size and great flavor. Overall, Salute made a fantastic first impression. Everything was delicious, fresh, and thoughtfully packed. We're definitely looking forward to trying more dishes!

Everything was delicious. From the service, to the delicious food, to the ambience. My family came here to celebrate my brother's graduation. It was delicious. Our food came out super quick, our waitress Sutton was accommodating and attentive, and seriously compliments to the chef Kenny!!! Definitely will come back again.

Walked in got a table. Our server was quick to get us drinks. Very friendly. The food was hot and delicious. Need some Italian music. It is very difficult to read the small letters on the building sign. Took me several times passing by to figure out what the business was. I will return. Great job.

Very nice remodel. Floor is slippery and place is small but feels cozy whether at a table or the bar. Food was good but menu should have the same items for the happy hour menu as the other location. Workers seem very attentive and eager to help. Gets crowded for sit down so keep an eye on when you should go if you want a table. Consistent wait for tables but all employees are very friendly.

Had an excellent meal at Salute off Clements Ferry Road in Mount Pleasant. We ordered takeout, it was ready in 20 minutes nice and hot. Will be going back for the Chicken Marsala as we heard it's excellent. Only a few tables and bar seating but take out was quick and easy.

I usually have pretty good luck here. Just ordered two meatball subs to go. This is more like two half meatball subs. It's a full cut in half

Whoa!! New Italian single family owned restaurant just opened on Clements ferry Road in Wando. Unbelievably good food and reasonably priced. I think the pasta is homemade and they have a very reasonably priced imported wine menu. The bread service comes with garlic cloves in the olive oil. I had the stuffed rigatoni with chicken and my spouse had a northern Italian salmon dish. I'd suggest getting here before it gets too popular because they just opened three weeks ago.

We had reservations for a Sunday night, and our server Joe was quick to greet us after we arrived. He delivered friendly service all night, which began with a thorough knowledge of the menu. We had starters of rosemary focaccia and braised artichokes. The focaccia is a must order, it's so soft and delicious. It's served with 3 sides of olive oil, marinara, and my favorite whipped ricotta. The braised artichokes, was a pass for me. No flavor, too soft a texture. Their entree menu has a nice variety of house made pastas. We chose fusilli lunghi, and rigatoni bolognese. Both were delicious flavorful entrees, with the pastas served perfectly al dente. The rigatoni was made with spinach, and the meat sauce was meaty and with a balanced tomato sauce. We ended our dinner, with carrot cake and chocolate cake. Yum! The chocolate cake was amazing, it was moist, velvety, and rich in chocolate flavor. A round of espresso martinis helped top off our dinner, and we ended the night with a rich appreciation of this experience.

The building has an extensive history, even once serving as a Hebrew orphanage, to now being a beautiful restaurant. I love how the architects and interior design highlight the character of the building! The wallpaper on the main dining room on the second floor is truly gorgeous! For cocktails, we tried many! I got the almond sour (delicious) and my friends were pleasantly surprised they serve decaffeinated espresso martinis. My sister got a spritz, which she also enjoyed. I was also touched that the culinary team was kind enough to sign a birthday card for me. Our table also received complimentary cacio e pepe popcorn to snack on--yum! For appetizers, we got the tuna tar tar (Crudo di Tonno), the strawberry caprese salad, and some shrimp--all so delicious, that they FLEW off the plate! For mains, I got the Rotolo al Forno, which was VERY tasty. My friends got the chicken milanese, the Sorelle spaghetti, and the sworfish. For side dishes, we also got the meatball with polenta and some potatoes. For dessert, I got a complimentary birthday cannoli with a candle and the Limone (a berry and cream-filled dessert in the form of a lemon!) What. A. Meal!!! The food and the locale are just stunning. But of course, not cheap. As a whole, we paid a whopping $399.75 without tip! Was it worth it for a feast of glamour? I'd say so--but definitely not an every day treat unless you have the budget! Also, Lucy was our server and was exceptionally sweet and patient!
