Celebrated our dog's 1st birthday at Salty Paws and had the best experience. Our pup loved the ice cream! They had many flavors with clever names & multiple toppings to choose from. The community inside is super friendly and welcoming! They also sell many dog bakery items, bones, food , bandanas, toys, and more!

Love love love this place! I bring all the dogs that I watch here for some yummy ice cream. Coconut and her mom do a fantastic job making this so welcoming and have delicious flavors for all the pups. They have a fantastic array of treats as well.

A puppo's dream come true! We came by with our pup one afternoon and had so much fun exploring and having our pup enjoy her first ice cream. Upon arrival, there is plenty of street parking available. When you walk in you're greeted with a friendly smile and it feels like you're walking into a hooman ice cream shop but for pups! The first day we went we got a scoop of the Peanut Butter and Bacon Ice Cream, and the 2nd day we got the highly recommended Cheeseburger flavor. While we were there our pup got to play with other pups and shop around for treats for the road. The owner even made various recommendations for us to enjoy with our pup while we were in town. We can't wait to come back soon.

Love this place. Atmosphere was wonderful. The flavor options on ice cream was equivalent to a human ice cream shop! Wonderful harnesses made locally. Tons of treat options. A birthday wall for photos. Tons of toys, chew sticks, clothing, brain games and tables with chair and beds. Some beds for sale as well. Will definitely be back it was a great experience. Allowed us to bring human cupcakes for the birthday party too!

This has become such a special place for us. We were so happy to find a place like this when we moved here that would allow us to celebrate our dogs' birthdays like we would ourselves at a restaurant or otherwise. The staff are always so kind and helpful. They truly get to know all of their customers and love to ensure the dogs are having a great visit. They offer a wide range of natural products and consumables for pets. We're so thrilled to have them as a city-staple!

Salty Paws was such a cute experience and it also had a plethora of no-hides, trainer treats, busy bones, and other pup goodies that I usually purchase but this time could scoop up all in one place! I heard about this space through word of mouth and decided to tag along with pup in tow. Ended up having an ice cream paw-ty with two very well-behaved pups. It was a really neat space and the owner was a delight to interact with--friendly, passionate, welcoming and attentive. If you have pups in your life or know someone who does, this is the perfect place to pup in to grab a treat or bring the pooches to keep cool all year with a scoop of something tasty. I could definitely see bringing pups for a birthday celebration or a nice little treat. How neat!

Amazing little shop for the pups! I think they are most famous for their doggie ice cream but they sell plenty of other treats from baked goods to packaged treats. There were over 8 different flavors of ice cream, separated from savories and fruity flavors. I wasn't sure what to choose (I figured my dog would eat any lol) so they suggested bacon cheeseburger with beef bits. My dog could not concentrate on anything else and kept his eye on the prize until he finished his ice cream haha. Definitely not just a treat for dogs, but the pawrents too to see their furbabies enjoy themselves! One small scoop with 1 topping was almost $7, so just as much and depending on the place even more than artisan human ice cream. Definitely a once in awhile treat for my dog lol. Service was great - super friendly and helpful. Def recommend if you have a dog!

The coolest concept. Pun intended. Salty Paws is Milwaukee's first doggy ice cream parlor. You can bring your dog in and get a frozen ice cream for your pup! There are actual dog approved flavors like bacon and peanut butter as well as traditional flavors like vanilla. The ice cream comes in cute dog bowls and there are tables to sit in (for humans). They also have take home ice cream you can bring home to make your own frozen treat at home! I loved the selection of yummy treats and dog cookies they had. I will definitely come back to pick up my dogs' birthday cookies and cute hats! They also host actual dog birthday parties and can do private ones! Other things I noticed that they sell include Stella and Chewys freeze dried foods, various doggy chews and sticks, collars and other pet gear. Had such much fun stopping by Salty Paws. I will have to bring my dog next time! Plenty of street parking and a nearby lot!

This new business opened about 3 weeks ago and we have been so excited to check it out. The other reviews are correct: they do not currently sell human ice cream, this is only a doggie ice cream parlor. But honestly I didn't mind that, it was a nice trip for the dogs and I was too busy snapping pictures to want ice cream of my own. The owner mentioned that people can get ice cream from Go Grocers or Riley's around the corner and bring it in, and that maybe in the future they'll have pints of human ice cream for purchase, but for now we just get to enjoy watching our babies enjoy their treat! There were 11 flavors with all kinds of dehydrated meat to use as sprinkles. This is also a little pet store where they sell tons of toys and treats. There's a cute photo corner and they have soft beds on the chairs so that the dogs can eat at the table! We had a blast and we will definitely be back!

This is a wonderful store! I really enjoyed the fact that everything was for dogs in the entire store. My dog loved his ice cream treat. The other patrons and their dogs were sooo friendly, as well as the store staff. I highly recommend this is a relaxed place to bring your dog for a very special treat, relax and enjoy the company of other dog owners and their pups!

Stopped by after a long walk along the lake. Cute space! We got the cheese and venison ice cream- served in little dog bowls. They loved it!

What a treat!! The place was well setup for anything your dog might desire. The baked goods including "White Claw" shaped cookies, Whiskey shaped cookies, and assorted donut cookies are just perfect gifts for our fur babies. Opening day was super busy! Enzo tried the pumpkin and peanut butter ice cream and loved it.

Just look at my dogs face after our first visit. He was one happy doggo! The place is overflowing with everything your dog will beg for. They have no-hide long lasting chews, plush toys, baked treats, and of course their doggy ice cream. My dog really enjoyed the PB and Vanilla flavored ice creams. I was worried he would have a bad tummy after but all clear! The place is spacious enough that multiple people and dogs fit without it feeling to cramped. They have a cute photo op backdrop in one corner. The staff was friendly and fast. They DO NOT serve any ice cream for people so don't come for that. One person in our party was disappointed about that.
