I located Baumel Brothers on Yelp and Shane got back to me and we negotiated a fair price to have his team come out and install it for me. Casey and Joseph showed up on time and knew exactly what to do. I was prepared with drop clothes and a ladder for them. After one of them went in my rafters to set up the mounting kit, they installed my new fan and it works great with plenty of light. Casey and Joseph were respectful and knowledgeable. Working with Shane was a pleasure and now I have him giving me an estimate on converting Fluorescent Lights to Can Lights. These guys were one of the few that could handle the concrete work, and they also handle all the permit work as well. Staff worked hard, finished everything quickly and made sure the work site was clean as a whistle after they finished. Everyone was really friendly, from the receptionist on the phone, the staff and the people giving me estimates. It's been more than a year since I got my EV charger installed, and I haven't noticed any problems since then. Price-wise, I feel it was pretty fair especially considering how they made everything so convenient. All in all, they did everything well. I'd have no problems recommending them to others, and will likely go back to them when I need other things addressed in the house.

We found a different outlet (not part of the…read moreoriginal problem) that didn't work, and when we contacted them a few hours after they had left, they told me that we would have to pay another full service fee for them to double-check their own work. Turns out a wire in the outlet they repaired wasn't reconnected so we lost current to the new separate outlet that was chained to the repaired one (luckily was able to find it and fix it myself). Pros: Quick response, good communication, pleasant interaction, repaired original problem. Cons: No warranty/guarantee of service, they didn't double check everything in the area they worked on before leaving (I should have too). When I found a problem after they left (even if it's the same day in the area that they were working on), I would have had to pay a full service fee again.

In addition, the fountain suffered from a power outage about a year ago, shutting off the fountain entirely. The only way we could make the fountain work was to run an extension cord from the sprinkler box over to the fountain area. Not exactly a safe option but it was necessary. Those gentlemen were able to put in a new GFCI outlet, run new wiring through the existing conduit and attach it properly to a new outlet on the wall. All unnecessary wiring was removed and the entire area looks fantastic as well as being safe now. Further more, they left the area clean and even swept up after themselves. The number of dedicated circuits recommended by you compared to general recommendations I've heard didn't match nor made sense with the high price you charged. 29-33k for 12 circuits and a main panel upgrade with an unneeded sub panel in the home to "save on wires used"?
