Came in and everyone was really nice and welcoming here. Picked up my purchase and continued to browse in person. There are some very nice pieces here. Very much worth the look if you are in the area. Great quality pieces and most items you cannot tell are used! Some items are on the pricier side (like artwork). Didn't offer a discount or a gift card for my troubles. when they came to deliver it, the delivery windows were all pretty inconvenient and they didn't send any reminder calls. When you're paying these kinds of designer, luxury prices, you expect a certain level of service that frankly I didn't receive. I'll be sticking to Wayfair from now on.

I put in my order and two hours later I received a phone call asking if I would like the item dropped off that same night. It was here in under an hour. Desk is in pretty good shape - only had to assemble the legs. There are some tiny scratches here and there but I don't mind since I was planning on buying a used desk anyway. It was out of warranty, but the movers were going to pay for repairs. Bernie and Phyls sent someone out a couple weeks later, and they diagnosed the issue as broken drawer runners. It took three more service visits over the course of ten months to finally get the appropriate sized drawer runners. Needless to say the whole thing dragged on and I was growing frustrated. On the fourth service call Bernie and Phyls service tech discovered the issue was never the runners, but an issue with the frame and its supports. I was pissed! I felt like ten months and the prior four service calls were for nothing. The service tech promised Bernie and Phyls would make it right with a replacement, even though I was out of warranty. I wanted to believe him, but I was skeptical. I was left with a broken bed and out of warranty. If Bernie and Phyls didn't help me, my only choice would have been to sue the movers and try to prove the brake happened on their watch. I was beside myself. I reached out to Bernie and Phyls customer service and explained my predicament. I felt they had wronged me by "misdiagnosing" the problem for ten months. I also explained their service tech promised me an exchange/replacement. At first they were resistant to helping me. I tried one more time- a desperate plea for help. I was surprised and thrilled when they came back and offered me a full exchange for a new bed. They really honored their word and did right by me. Yes, they made mistakes along the way, but they didn't have to give me an exchange, and they did anyway. Their customer service is excellent. They might not be perfect, but they did what they could to make me a repeat customer.

This was how I learned about the store and I fell in love with the furniture. Over the years I have bought most of the furniture that is in my home from BoConcept. It's beautiful furniture, modern, but at the same time inviting, comfortable and pretty. I think the last time I bought some thing at the store was about three years ago, and my furniture has always worn very well. I had a problem with one of the furniture pieces that I had purchased three years ago and I called the store to let them know. I think my experience with customer service is that it's not usually good when I called places, so I felt a little bit nervous calling. I can't even tell you how helpful Louis was, and how much better I felt after speaking with him. They are repairing the flaw to my furniture piece, and I could not be more impressed with the incredible customer service that I got. In an age of lacking Customer Service, BoConcept was the opposite. They were helpful, understanding and kind. I would highly recommend this company as well as the store. I waited months for a furniture purchase while delivery dates were missed multiple times, with delays disclosed only after I repeatedly chased the store for updates. There was zero proactive communication throughout the process. I've had the great misfortune and displeasure of having to deal with Anthony Goode, one of the proprietors. He needs to get a serious lesson in customer service and hospitality or get out of the retail business. After the second missed delivery, he was unapologetic, deflected responsibility, and refused to provide a guaranteed delivery date. When asked to put everything in writing--including delivery commitments or compensation--he insisted on phone calls only, an apparent attempt to avoid a written record. After extensive back-and-forth and continued refusal to provide basic accountability or a firm delivery date, I was forced to cancel the order. Despite this, the business has refused to issue a refund of my 50% deposit. This is an unscrupulous and deceptive business operation that avoids transparency and accountability at every turn. Save yourself the time, stress, and money--do not shop here. Buyer beware!!!
