I really should have done more research before doing business with this company. I placed an order with what I thought were red/orange terracotta tiles. They told me the tiles would be here by Friday or Saturday I kept asking for tracking and wasn't getting a reply. Once I threatened to cancel the order (which I should have) they responded right away. The order didn't arrive until that following Tuesday. I open my order and the tiles were all off. Nothing matched. The rounded stair tiles were all the red terracotta color I wanted but all the main tiles were yellow. All decorative tiles were all different (usually these tiles match for consistency on stairs for nice clean look) and broken. Now I'm in a battle to get a refund. Such a mess! read more

My experience with Saltillo Tile and Stone Co was beyond frustrating. Waiting over 40 minutes for the forklift keys, without any prior notification that they had lost the keys before confirming that I should head over to pickup the product, was a major inconvenience. I assume they believed that they would have found them before my arrival which was an hour since the confirmation and my arrival. Having to return the next day due to their failure to find the keys added unnecessary stress. The items were poorly packed in a crate, preventing a thorough inspection, and I discovered broken pieces (which is expected), but some had pet or cat paw prints - a clear lapse in quality control and attests to their manufacturing facility standards, I was shocked nonetheless. Moreover, the color discrepancies among tiles were significant, deviating from the expected deep red-orange to unwanted yellow and green hues, a significant percentage with large green/yellow patches. Attempts to communicate about returning the material were met with silence from their end. Despite numerous calls, I've been continuously ghosted since reaching out (a month). I strongly recommend exploring other options before considering Saltillo Tile and Stone Co. I didn't want to write this review, especially since it's a mom and pop shop, but clearly they have management, quality, and manufacturing issues that need to be addressed before anyone considers this establishment as a trusted Saltillo tile source. Plus, we are spending more than a few dollars on the product, we should get what we pay for but it is not reflected here. I recommend that anyone interested look elsewhere and do their homework. read more
