There was something strongly overpowering the soup that was too intense for me and kind of bitter. Ive ordered this soup before at other locations, so I was surprised that it didn't suit my palate. The pajeon was huge. I prefer them thin, and this one was crazy thick. It was also overpowered with garlic, and I don't think those words have ever come out of my mouth before. The Loco Moco is my favorite by far; the gravy is incredibly savory, the burger patties are well seasoned, and the egg yolks are perfectly runny. Served on top of rice + with some perfectly made Mac Salad (not "pasta salad"), every bite is so good!! I also really enjoy the Meat Jun special that they have every once in awhile and the Pork specials they had for a bit were quite good as well. In their previous space in Lansing, they had a bigger space with more tables and the eat in service was handled very well. In Troy, I read that they specifically picked a smaller space to largely do take out/pick up only due to personal circumstance. They have always been personable when I pick up, which is incredibly often; thankfully, they also always seem pretty busy, which is good, I need them to keep making delicious food for a long time. :)
