    Jerk Charred Carrots
    Samantha B.

Came here again with my bf for a nice night out and it was disappointing this time around. Our server wasn't great and seemed flustered. To eat we ordered the jerk charred carrots (again), and then we tried new items this time, the Szechuan cured wahoo crudo, the charred maitake pizza and charred gratitude garden mushrooms (side). The carrots were great, just as I had remembered. The tomatoes it comes with are just fantastic I wish I could have those at home. They're bursting with juice I really enjoyed this the most. Everything else was not great. The crudo was insanely salty. I get that it is cured but that was all that we tasted -- salt. The charred gratitude garden mushrooms side we ordered came out cold and to me personally there's nothing more off-putting than cold mushrooms. I have been wanting to try the charred maitake pizza for a while and when I had it, it was underwhelming. It just tastes like mushrooms really, there's no other flavors we picked up. The crust was good like the pizza dough was thin and crispy but yeah, this was a disappointing visit.

Came here for the last night of my friend's bachelorette trip and this was our favorite restaurant on the trip!! The restaurant is moody, trendy, and modern. I ordered the triple tail fish, which was delicious. Our waitress, Rebecca was super knowledgeable of the history of the restaurant, celebrity chef - Jeremy ford, nice and, personable. One thing is we ordered wine and it may have been some miscommunication but we ordered the cheapest one which was $40 to split but then when I looked at the receipt once I got home it was $70. It was our mistake for not catching that while there, and we called and talked with her and the manager and it sounded like miscommunication, which was unfortunate because I was sure I ordered the $40 one. Overall, had a great experience and the food is amazing!!

This place aesthetically is beautiful! The service here was really good our server was great. Unfortunately the food was ok at best. I've been to their sister restaurant Butchers Club and is by far way better than this place. I'd dare say that But hers Club is top 3 best meals of my life so to come here and not have the same experience I had there was very disappointing. If you're staying at the resort skip it and try somewhere else.

Best meal I've ever had in the Keys. My husband and I travel all over the world and frequent Michelin starred restaurants. We were unsure how this meal would go based on reviews we came across. I'm not sure if the restaurant just had a few kinks to work out after they opened, but we had a 10/10 experience. The highlights for us were the Kill Dill cocktail, the grilled oysters, the tomato salad, and the key lime tart. We will be back!

I would give it five stars, but I'll explain why I did it later. I'll start off by saying that the place is beautiful. It's very warm and inviting a nice for a date or a large group. The food was absolutely delicious. I was very worried with all the reviews that I was reading, but I'm very glad I ended up going. The staff was very attentive and our way to Cassandra was on point. We started off with oysters. When I first ordered, I was skeptical because they're from Florida and well they don't have the best reputation but these Florida honey oysters were absolutely delicious. The minouette used Was spectacular! We then had the Caesar salad, which was one of the tasty Caesar salads I've had. Speaking of tasty. I don't know what they do to their old-fashioned but my God it was delicious. For entrées, we had the beef cheek pasta, which was so flavorful and comforting. I then went with the snapper, which was a very healthy portion And delicious as well. Overall, we had a wonderful experience. The reason I'm only giving it four stars is because my husband's entrée arrived before mine and it did not seem odd to the waiter that delivered it. That was a little bit disappointing but overall, it was a great experience. Glad I went and I would definitely go again to try the steak. Their pizzas also look amazing Considering they have this humongous wood-burning oven. Definitely worth a visit!

Sautéed tilefish with bok Choy, cauliflower and lemongrass coconut curry

Incredible! This newly renovated space is well done with ambiance and style. The food was insanely delicious and full of fresh herbaceous flavors. I started with the ford's farm organic tomatoes and wow. Perfect mix of dill, mint, stracciatella, pear and tomato. The tomatoes were perfectly ripe with full flavor of a garden tomato. Next was the hamachi crudo. Another favorite, with perfect saltiness, insane herbs complimenting the cucumbers and green beans. I did all but lick the plate on this one. Finished up with a sautéed tilefish with bok choy, cauliflower and lemongrass coconut curry. The portion was GENEROUS! There was a crisp on top which I love in a fish dish to balance out the softness of a white fish. I am not ashamed to say I sopped up the curry with every last ounce of food. It was perfectly done. All paired nicely with a glass of Pinot noir. The best part. $99 bill. The servers were friendly and professional. Highly recommended. I will be back!

If you love authentic Italian and are looking for the BEST Alfredo you've ever tasted, you gotta go…read moreto Frank's. Modest looking from the outside in the strip mall. Trust me-delish! Atmosphere: Laid back. 12 tables. Good service. We had a great waitress with a good sense of humor. After taking our order, she disappeared for less than 2 minutes and returned with our salads. She apologized for the long wait (hahaha). Menu: Extensive! Great selection of wine, pastas, meats, and seafood platters. All exceptionally fresh! The homemade blue cheese dressing was exceptional too! The linguine was the default, but they are happy to change out the pasta type upon request. Food for thought: If you have a party of 8+ call in advance by a couple of days. They really only accommodate a party this large one table at a time. The restaurant is small. After an amazing first meal, we tried to return. I called the same day (Friday afternoon), the lady was rather rude and told me "We only got one table, Hun, shoulda thought ahead." I asked about coming in and waiting and she provided another disrespectful response. We tried again on Saturday and the gentleman tried to accommodate us better (ie/ 2 tables). Unfortunately, the timing still didn't work out, so they lost our sale. Tried to get sympathy for working past 9pm (staying open just for the current customers). Note they are closed on Sundays and for most of August for a vacation. Worth the visit overall though! We will try again next time we're in town.

We had the Islamorada shrimp, Ribeye steak and scallop potatoes. Everything was prepared perfectly and were huge portions. We have already started recommending this place to our friends we have met that are also staying at a resort close by. We will definitely be back next time we are in Islamorada. Maybe even again tonight!

We arrived and it was an awkward welcome from the hostess and the staff; lots of rules where to park and how to order water and having the party together to sit down. Our server was friendly and welcomed us and took our cocktail orders. The bar is unimpressive, the cocktails were mediocre to below average and the orders were simple. Negronis and Old Fashioned should be well executed at a steakhouse, not the case here and the cherry in the old fashioned was neon pink like a dive bar. We switched to wine and the wine list is impressive and there are some values on the menu. Appetizers were mediocre at best. Lobster bisque, as others have shared was a miss. Shrimp Islamorada was average and the breading was soggy. Tomato basil was good. Entrees were good - fish, steak and lobster dishes were good. The sides were unimpressive and lacking in flavor. Dessert was a miss, house made key lime pie tasted store bought and the crème brûlée was inedible. The price for the meal was typical of a high end steak house, the experience and meal was something far different and can't recommend to others.
