I've been wanting to try this restaurant with my family for weeks. The one day we are all able to get together and make the drive out, we arrive 10 minutes before they open. Come around 9am lights are still off and no sight of anyone even attempting to open. If this is the poor quality of work ethic they truly have then I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone! Only reason there is not 5 stars is some days you'll have to wait for available seating and/or the food has taken almost an hour after ordering. I've been here 4 times in 2 weeks. My husband and I agree that this is our new favorite place! Personally I feel like the Bay Area / Clear Lake area lacks good Mexican food but this place surpassed every expectation. The service is incredible, the owners are so nice it's two people running the front of the house and they are just starting so be patient any wait you have is absolutely worth it. They have a giant mural (see pictures) that just creates the most incredible ambiance. You can't go wrong with anything on the menu but my favorite has been the birria ramen, there are no words to describe how amazing it is. It's full of flavor and hits the spot every time, it's like a warm hug. The birria torta highly recommend as well and the quisabirria. You can't go wrong with the tacos de bistec they taste like home. Came here this morning for brunch and the chorizo was delicious! We also tried the chilaquiles. Lovely place and the women were very nice and helpful with menu, unfortunately my flautas were over cooked and didn't have much flavor, our chips and queso, no bueno, I think the cheese was from a can and the side sauces didn't have much flavor either. My husband ordered the small tacos and honestly like the rest not much flavor. Everything needed a lot of tweaking, especially in the spices and sauces. This place is so good! This is our second visit and we haven't gotten a bad dish. The food is beautiful and tastes even better. The acai bowl is the freshest bowl you will get, alvacodo toast is delishious, chilaqualies amazing, theMexican coffee puts Starbucks to shame and tacos are a 10 out of 10. The portions are large so be prepared to leave super full. The only drawback is that it is counter service so I recommend reading the menue online before you go in. read more

Wow!! Salseria has some of the highest quality food i've had in Webster. The chilaquiles are phenomenal and the açaí bowl has incredible quality of fruit. The service here was quick and really friendly, the ambiance was slightly lacking, but I didn't come here to stare at the walls, don't expect a Texas Roadhouse level of decor. I feel like the previous reviews giving this place 5 stars are not entirely honest or maybe we just went on a bad day because we experienced a whole different level of service. Our food took an hour to come out and my husband's plate was brought out 10 mins after mine! They don't have a drink menu so we were not able to see or order the cute drinks that they show on their social medias. I asked the lady who took my order if they had any aguas frescas and she said "no, we don't". Yet, we later saw another waitress bring out like 5 aguas frescas to other tables! They only have bottled drinks, so we bought two sprites but by the time our order came out the drinks were hot already. We asked the server to bring us two cups with ice she said "sure" but never brought them. Also you have to get your own silverware and napkins therefore, I wouldn't say is an actual restaurant. It's more of like a food truck type of establishment since you also order and pay first. I only give it two stars because the food was not bad but it's not worth the wait and headache of the poor service. Overall, I wouldn't go back. read more
