Love when you discover a new spot that's so good you're already planning your next visit! Salseria was already on my radar, but after a friend recommended it, I knew I had to check it out sooner rather than later. My daughter and I were both impressed from the moment our food arrived. The presentation was beautiful, and thankfully, it tasted even better than it looked! Everything was delicious, and our server was incredibly sweet, attentive, and made the experience even more enjoyable. I'm already planning to come back with the rest of my family so they can experience Salseria for themselves. Beautiful, delicious food and great service makes Salseria a spot worth returning to!

It's a small spot and it's hard to see from the street. There's no sign so you can miss it if you aren't paying close attention. They share a parking log with several other stores so it filled up quick. The Agua frescas were good and everything looked pretty. There was only one server for the entire restaurant but we went during the week so it was busy but not all tables were full. My family enjoyed everything they got but it's a lot. Each plate had way more than one person could eat. I ended up not ordering anything so i got to try everything that was ordered and so did the baby and we had plenty to take home. If you don't eat much share with someone. The price makes sense with how much you get but isn't worth it if you aren't going to eat it all. I'm glad we visited and enjoyed everything but will plan accordingly next time.

Place is small and very popular but the wait time was less than 20 minutes for a Sunday during brunch time. Staff were so nice and the music on here was SO GOOD! food was a 10/10 I will definitely be coming back again. Everything tasted fresh and homemade

Ok so you have to get up and go order and pay before you eat! You are asked for tip but haven't even seen the service or food so I declined and will see. But just having to get your own utensils and go place an order at a sit down place!!?? Not a tip place!! Honestly it's just the aesthetics!!! The so called aguas frescas taste like JUMEX, the concentrated one!! Not happy about that at all!!! The chilaquiles plate is just too much chips swimming in salsa but the top of chips aren't even getting much of it! It's just a mess!! Green and red chilaquiles, the green sauce was good, savory and not salty but too overwhelming with so much chips!! The avocado was cut nicely but they didn't even bother to cut the brown/black part! The entire food was just blahhhh, overpriced!!! $57 for chilaquiles, 3 waters, waffle and 1 egg!!! Overpriced and not worth it!! Seems like your alone at restaurant, staff at the back and just come out to bring plates and tell you to order at register. Ambiance chill and nice and music but not worth it! Pretty restaurant but not worth the price of food lacked flavor!!! And the employee pic is because the face of your restaurant is how they treat customers and it wasn't polite at all and not welcoming!!

Birria chilaquilla

Loved this Mexican brunch spot in Webster. Our area isn't known to have a ton of breakfast options so it was nice to try something new. I ordered the birria chilaquilla which was served with scrambled eggs and avocado and got the fruity pebbles pancakes for the kiddo. The chilaquilla had great flavor with both red/green sauces, savory birria beef ( not overly fatty), and the tortillas were crispy and not soggy at all. Plus one for the fancy plating- these dishes are picture worthy to say the least. Really cool spot and it was packed on a Saturday morning for good reason.

Visited Salseria this morning. Greeted by hostess at the door and seated promptly. Menus at the table and waitress greeted us immediately. She was very friendly and through. Our food and drink was awesome and the entire staff individually checked in with us throughout the meal to ensure we had anything we needed. The entire experience was top notch and we will definitely be returning.

Came here the other day for breakfast and I was absolutely obsessed with the Chilaquiles! The tortilla chips were not soggy, and the flavor was absolutely delicious! I also liked adding the steak and the egg, it really made the meal. The staff were friendly and answered all of our questions about the menu. The restaurant was also very clean and cute. I will definitely be back for more chilaquiles in the future!!

agua fresca

We have been to the salseria many times and have never been disappointed! A slightly longer wait time is well worth it for the fresh and delicious food. The chilaquiles portions are huge and we also love the taco special on tuesdays. Highly recommend and can't stop coming back!

Had the option to sit outside to avoid the wait and the weather wasn't unbearable. Waitress didn't come for over 20 minutes and when she did I ordered and then I never saw her again while I was outside the entire time. Had to go ask for my check. Food was good but service is terrible.

El flameado de polo con beef fajita

(4/5) My wife and I had dinner here tonight, and overall we had a good experience. The restaurant has a nice atmosphere and is a comfortable place to enjoy a meal, although there was a slight musty smell that was noticeable when we first walked in. The food was definitely the highlight of the evening. My El Flameado de Pollo was outstanding--full of bold flavor and easily the best part of my meal. My wife's Enchiladas Suizas were also very flavorful, but unfortunately they were served just barely warmer than room temperature. The sweet tea was excellent, and the queso was a little different than expected since it appeared to be "strained" without the pico mixed in. That wasn't necessarily a bad thing, just a different presentation that some people may actually prefer. The chips, however, were disappointing. They were stale, greasy, and chewy instead of fresh and crisp. The beef fajitas also missed the mark. They weren't pre-sliced, which normally wouldn't be an issue, but the meat was quite tough. Combined with having to cut it yourself, it made each bite difficult to chew and took away from what could have been a great dish. Service was the weakest part of the visit. It wasn't rude, but it felt awkward and lacked the welcoming, attentive feel you'd expect. It was also very slow--we received our appetizer before our drinks, and having to pay for tea refills was an unexpected surprise. Even with those issues, the kitchen clearly knows how to create flavorful food, and that's what stood out most. A few improvements in service, fresher chips, hotter entrées, and more tender fajitas would easily make this a five-star experience. We'd definitely come back because the quality of the dishes shows a lot of promise but it's not yet somewhere I'd frequent regularly.

Quesabirrias, Fruity Pebbles Pancakes. Sunset Mimosa, and Watermelon Lemonade

Stopped in with my cousins after seeing this place on tik tok for weeks. You have to order at the counter before you're able to sit down. We got very lucky that there weren't a lot of people there when we arrived otherwise we would've been waiting for a table forever. The restaurant does not have a lot of seating available. There's a lot of beautiful artwork on the walls that makes the restaurant look a lot brighter and lively. As far as the food goes, I ordered the quesabirrias and they were so good! The meat was tender and seasoned well, the consomé had flavor, and the side of rice was delicious. We also had the fruity pebbles pancakes and they were okay just very dry. To drink I had a sunset mimosa and the watermelon lemonade, both were very good but I definitely preferred the lemonade. Overall, I would recommend trying it out. I'd would make the hour drive again.

Tres leche French toast

I was not impressed with the food here at all. I had been wanting to try it. The plate was GORGEOUS but the food was pretty bland. I ordered a passion fruit mimosa and a tres leches French toast. I believe I got a dragonfruit mimosa (it was still really good and pretty) when you walk in the door it says to wait to be seated but there was no one at the host stand so I went up to the counter and ordered my food. It was pretty busy and full. I chose a cute little table outside. Service was quick. Cutely decorated inside. I don't know that I would go back. I feel like I paid for presentation.

Wow! I did not know I could taste gentrification with so much intent. This food legit tastes like what white people think tacos should be like. Look, the Ingredients and food were extremely fresh! And their mimosas were banger I will give them that! But the service was abhorrent! The food took an hour and some change to all come out, the staff were confused over whether someone took care of us or not, forget to take empty dishes or perform niceties such as saying "we're so sorry but it should be out within the next xyz minutes or so!" Never got that. The birria was dry, albeit the consommé was more broth focused than oil focused. The carne asada and beef fajita were very fresh, but all of this tastes like a recipe I can copy off tiktok and it's my first attempt at making the dish. Great artwork though that was cool to see but besides that, nothing write home about. 15/100, for the love of everything holy, if management is reading this, please fix your table management systems and hire more people to work the kitchen!! With all due respect, it really and truly should not take that long to get any amount of food.

The food came out surprisingly fast, and overall, the experience felt very relaxed and enjoyable. I ordered the braised beef tacos, also known as quesabirria. While they were decent, they were definitely not the best quesabirria tacos I've had. The consommé was very oily and lacked flavor, and the pickled onions were a bit off-putting. That being said, the tacos were generously filled with beef, which I appreciated. If I came back, though, I would probably try a different menu item. I also ordered a horchata and the regular size completely caught me off guard because it was huge. It tasted slightly more watered down than other horchatas I've had, but it was still refreshing and enjoyable. I would definitely order it again. Overall, while not every item completely wowed me, I still had a really pleasant experience here. The quick service, laid-back atmosphere, and generous portions made it worth the visit, and I'd be interested in coming back to try more of the menu in the future.

As I write this review, this restaurant currently has a rating of 4.6 stars with 120 reviews. Before coming, I also reviewed several pictures that other folks have posted on yelp, and I thought I'd give this place a try. After driving by the front of the restaurant and pulling into the parking lot, I started to have second thoughts about coming here. From the outside, it certainly did not appear to be a location worthy of an excellent rating on yelp. Still, I trusted the yelp community, and I decided to come inside. Boy, the yelp community was right on this one! This is one of those restaurants that is excellent, but you wouldn't know it unless you gave it a try. Immediately after entering, I decided to take a seat at one of their tables in a corner. Just after sitting down, a gentleman came over and delivered some fresh chips and two kinds of salsa. My waitress came over shortly thereafter and introduced herself. Her name was Marcella (sp?). She was friendly and professional throughout my experience here, and she was patient with me in explaining some of the items on their menu. After reviewing their menu and eating a bunch of their chips and salsa (which are ridiculously good), I decided what I wanted. I ordered the "Quesabirria w/Consome," with beef, which are 4 birria and cheese tacos, served with onion, cilantro, pickled onion, radish, and special spicy salsa. I ordered a Coca-Cola along with my dinner order. I definitely made the right choice for my meal. They were generous in filling my tacos with a bunch of shredded beef, and they were amazingly good. My soda was refreshing as well. In my opinion, this is a better place for authentic Mexican food rather than Americanized Mexican food. After my meal, my waitress said that she is giving me some of their dessert for free since this was my first time here. She was very kind, and an excellent waitress. Overall, I did have an excellent experience here, just as so many others have had. This was a reminder for me that sometimes I need to just trust the yelp community, and most often a high yelp rating is high for a valid reason. If you're in the area, you should give this place a try. In addition to this review, be sure to check out all my pictures if you'd like to get more detail on this location, some of which are attached to this review.

I've been to Japan, and arcades such as this are a huge thing there, though they usually don't combine restaurants and arcade games. Perhaps they do in Korea? I digress though, because this is a fun, clean interior, and the service is polite and efficient. We had Korean Chicken Fried Rice, Shrimp Udon and an order of Spreggrolls. Everything was delicious, and there was seriously enough for another meal or two. The chicken was nicely cooked with a sweet/spicy sauce. Same for the shrimp. These guys also do an outstanding job with their rice, which is almost served al dente. The spreggrolls, which are a fusion of fried egg rolls and cold spring rolls, stole the show for me however. It's such a simple idea, yet no one (else) seems to have thought of it. These folks have a huge menu, and I look forward to making my way through it.
