This one is tough for me. It seems to be hit or miss. From wait staff, to food quality, to wait, it varies wildly. Sometimes service is quick and attentive and kind, and other times it is slow and the wait person is nowhere to be found. Same goes for the food. Sometimes it's is great and well cooked and flavored, with great cuts of meat, while other times it seems bland and a bit small proportion wise and the meat can be incredibly chewy with a lot of grissle. Even the music follows the same trend. Sometimes it seems authentic, while others it sounds as if someone put their favorite spotify playlist on shuffle. Prior to March 2020, my family ate here at least once a week, twice most weeks. Since the pandemic, we've ordered takeout a couple times. Today, we decided we'd order takeout and, because we we're always wishing we had more salsa, we ordered 2 large salsas, a large queso, and an order of pick de gallo. All that in addition to the family fajitas. When I got home, I realized that even though I spent $21 on extra salsa and queso, they only included a tiny bag of chips. Tiny, as in the size bag you send your kid's PB&J sandwich for lunch. When I called, the young lady told me that was normal. Regardless of how much salsa and queso you order, you get one measly bag of chips. I'll never return to Salsa's Grille. Even though it's my favorite salsa, favorite queso, and pretty decent fajitas, I'll never be back. read more

The food is very good but they seated everyone who was dining in on one side of the restaurant and closed off the other section so that everyone was in very close proximity to each other while eating with masks off. I'm not sure that would be considered proper protocol with covid precautions. Also, the sounds of chips crunching was very loud and obnoxious with everyone so close to each other. Finally a place with Salsa with taste and a zing and chips that are light and crisp. They way I like them. Not think and stale. Excellent Guacamole made at the table, a tad pricy it went up from $8.50 to $11.50. The steak Tacos Al Carbon were superb with plenty of fresh taste. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else! The food is terrible and the service is even worse. We ordered lunch veggie fajitas and were charged $12.50. When we inquired about how veggie fajitas could possibly cost the same as steak and shrimp fajitas we were told that zucchinis are extremely expensive! What??? I then asked to be charged the same thing as chicken fajitas which were $9.50 and simply leave off the chicken. We tried to eat here this afternoon. One of our party has lymphocytic colitis and biopsy confirmed celiac. We tried to confirm if the meat was gluten free and our waiter went to inquire. He came back and said the only thing in the restaurant that was GF was the corn chips and tortillas. We asked what was in the meat that made it not gluten free and he went to ask again. The manager came over and asked us "what is your problem?" we asked what was in the meat that made it not GF (this is the first Mexican restaurant she's ever been to that wasn't GF). He refused to tell us. I asked if their queso was made in house or from a premade container, bc she can usually have queso, and he still refused to be helpful. He was incredibly rude and patronizing, unwilling to help with any kind of clarifications. So I told him to cancel our order. I left cash on the table but as we were leaving he shouted at us that we had to wait so we could pay for the kids drinks. Incredibly rude, unprofessional behavior by the front host/manager. This is one of the worse dining places I've been. I went there twice a week but it has changed. The management is horrible wait staff not much better. The quality of food has gone down tremendously. I did let the manager know. I also told him I wouldn't come back. His response was, " I don't care!" So now that I know your manger nor your waitstaff cares then why should I care. What a joke! I ordered the make your own combo with 2 items, $10. I ordered a cheese enchilada and a chicken flauta. Told the guy queso on the flauta and red sauce on the enchilada. My order came with queso, no red sauce. Went back up to the guy who took my order and he read my order back to me. Of course he put it in wrong because it came out wrong. I asked him for enchilada sauce; he brought me salsa. Told him I want enchilada sauce. He went away and didn't come back until I asked for the manager when I finished my flauta. It took 10 minutes to get our drinks (we were one of two tables), another ten minutes to get our order taken, and then once the food was dropped off we were never checked on. I used to love this place. The service was wonderful, food was the best I had, and the seating areas were clean. Since the recent ownership change, they've ruined this place. My cousin and I went there and we ordered what we typically get. My cousin asked for the chimchangas with beans instead of beef because he's a vegetarian. To our surprise, the waiter didn't even want to hear it and rolled his eyes telling us to pick something else because they don't take "special orders". We asked what he meant by that and he tells us that he cannot change any order from the way that it was meant to be from the menu. We ask for a manager at this point because the waiter's poor attitude was irritating, and he didn't even care enough to help accommodate us. When the manager comes, he seems like a nice guy at first, until he starts telling us that he isn't going to change his menu to make any special order. At this point, my cousin and I are quite in shock because we've never experienced service like this before from the old ownership. I tell the manager it's kind of dumb to do that if there isn't a vegetarian option for chimichangas, at which point, the manager's ego comes straight out of him. The manager then proceeds to tell me to get out or he will call the police on me. Seriously? Police over a recommendation??? The manager then tells me to "Go back to India, you fuck" and starts cursing me us out in Spanish making a huge scene about the littlest thing. I was born in America, sir. This is my home. I won't be going anywhere. We paid for our chips and salsa and left. Maybe he was just having a bad day or maybe they just care more about their precious menu more than customers. My wife and I stopped by mid-afternoon on a Sunday, so the place was pretty empty. We were one of two tables when we first arrived. Firstly, the prices were a little high for a Mexican food place. You're looking at $10 for the cheapest entree and around $15 for most of the stuff you'll really want. Whatever, I'm all for paying more for a good food and service. But... Even though we were one of two tables service was _very_ lackluster. The food was slow coming out and we weren't asked how the food was or for drink refills until we were ready to leave. But hey, I can deal with relatively high prices and not so hot service for great food! And... The food was pretty meh. Not bad by any means, but also far from amazing. My wife got a small plate of chicken and rice and I got a combo platter. Mine was definitely more bang for the buck than hers, but I've had as good or better at every other Mexican place in town. The saving grace, and what warranted a third star, was the two for one margaritas. Of course, I didn't get that until I was ready to leave, but oh well. All in all it wasn't absolutely terrible, but I won't be back anytime soon. read more

This place was a favorite of mine. So today we were short on time and decided to come here for a quick and early Birthday dinner before my husband went to work. Upon arriving no one was at the host station, we stood there for a few minutes and then I went and found someone to seat us. The waitress was nice and pleasant and we ordered Fajitas combos and a taco salad. The food was BLAND! No seasoning on either of our items. The meat in the Fajitas were cooked properly but no seasoning and none on my salad. The quality of the food has gone down tremendously. Unless you're one of those old people that can't eat spices anymore then skip this place! Go down the street as the area has more than 5 Mexican restaurants within 2 miles of each other. LOVE LOVE LOVE! the service is amazing, the food is fantastic! Joanna is one of the servers there (and maybe an owner i'm not entirely sure) and she is amazing, always nice and willing to give you a cup of your drink to go and fill it up with fresh instead of what you have in your cup. There was also a guy named Conner, i'm not sure if he works there anymore but he has a great attitude and is good with kids. I went with my two cousins and my mom and the youngest cousin is 9 but thinks he's an adult and was mad at us for not letting him order off the adult menu and somehow Conner got him to smile which is no small feat haha. Have been here many times. Never again. Reserved a table for my daughters 13 year old birthday party for 15 girls. Even reserved it for 745. When we arrived I was told "it's national margarita day" and we don't have your table. After a wait we finally asked how much longer and the manager said "we can't give you a time". We just moved to the area and have been trying out different Mexican restaurants. We stopped here on a whim today, but we won't be coming back. There were two people in our party, and we both got what we thought was a simple order. I ordered a side of a chicken chimichanga with an order of rice while my husband ordered a chicken chimichanga with a side of a steak taco. The waitress had a hard time understanding my order, which should have been our first tip... she repeated my order back to me a few times until she got it right, but she didn't repeat my husbands. When the food came out, his order was missing the taco. We cleared that up before she left the table, but then when he cut into his chimichanga it was steak, not chicken. His taco came out a few minutes later, but that meant he had two steak items that we paid premium price for. We totally sympathize with someone not being able to understand our language, but she should have asked what he ordered rather than smiling and writing it down wrong. Maybe she shouldn't be the person taking orders? On a side note, the floor was so sticky that a woman walking by us walked out of her shoe. Granted they were flip flops, but the floors should not be that sticky at a restaurant. The food was also pretty expensive for a Mexican place. 2 for 40? read more

Ordered the mixed fajita grill - shrimp, chicken and beef. I was amazed to received a very large sizzling platter along with a large plate of rice and very delicious retried beans. I thought maybe they'd misunderstood my order and brought food for two! Then I got the bill - $16 for all of that is terrific. The chips and salsa were very good, though I suppose the salsa could have been a little hotter, but it's clearly made there. Service was very good and attentive. I've been going 2 this location for years and order the same thing almost everytime so when I received my check and noticed it was more than normal I asked the manager (who was new management) y and he said it was additional charge for red sauce. We had words again and I told him I wouldn't come back and he laughed and said u said that last time. The manager there will cost this place some loyal customers. I normally tip but yesterday I didn't. B4 recieving my check 2day I placed $8 on my table 4 the tip but since the manager decided 2 try and force me 2 tip the waiter would only get $1.23 based off the gratuity charge.
