This is a solid tex mex place. It's not chuy's but it is good. We got the crispy taco dinner with queso and were very pleased. I liked their chips because they are firm and not thin. I like that it's not a chain place also. It felt like a great local neighborhood hangout. Management was very friendly. My husband got the carne flameda and enjoyed it. The queso was a little peppery but it was still great. I'm pregnant so I'm hard to please right now but this place was definitely the tex mex fix I needed. read more

Was visiting Plano on a trip to Dallas and found this gem through online reviews. It was pretty busy and the service was a little lacking, but the food was delicious! We had the fajitas and they were awesome, especially the big shrimp. You can't beat happy hour all day on a Thursday... the sangria and margaritas were on point! I was surprised (not in a good way) considering all of the great reviews this place has. I ordered enchiladas tejanas and the meat was chewy, the cheese inside the enchiladas wasn't melted, food overall was very salty. I order chicken tortilla soup and it came out warm. However, their happy hour has some good deals and prices aren't too shabby. Service was pretty good but food just wasn't up to par. Won't be going out of my way to return. read more

Had brunch Saturday aft noon and Salsa was busy as usual. Service was prompt and courteous with black bean dip and chips and salsa arriving just after we were seated. I had a breakfast burrito that was large and tasty. The med size pizza tortilla was a little soggy and was the weak link of the meal. I was served 8 "small" triangle shaped nachos with a little lettuce, a quarter size of guac. and couple jalopenos - no tomatoes for $7.99. Yikes. A man would go hungry. Real greasy. Have been going here for years. It's not really Tex-Mex - more El Salvadorian (sp?) I have never had a bad meal. Not expensive or cheap. Full bar. They recently expanded, so, no more long waits! Very disappointing.I called in an order and when I arrived 30 min later my order was no where to be found. I was tired, starving, and 6 months pregnant. Instead of apologizing for the mixup the manager yelled at me and said I didn't call the order in even after I showed it to him on my phone. I was treated like a criminal like I wanted a free meal when I make a 6 figure income. I was yelled at all the way out the door. I am only a pregnant mother wanting to purchase food after a long day. This manager really needs some medication because that was really bipolar. This place was so delicious! I got the chicken enchiladas with the tomatillo sauce and they were amazing. The sauce was zesty and perfect and the chicken was seasoned just right. Get the white Queso. It's very good and the regular Queso is like cheese whiz. The food is good. The atmosphere is kind is bad. Goes with strip center location. The prices use to be kind of low and we went every month. Prices are now normal so we still go, but not as much. read more

Literally just left here. Food is great! If you can ever get someone to take your order. I sat there for 35 minutes waiting for someone to take my order. It wasn't my servers fault. It was the bullshit manager they have. While I sat there I watched him sit 7 tables for my server on top of the 10 he already had and wasn't helping one bit! My server was running around frantically trying to get everything done. Finally just got up and left. As I was walking out there were more people walking in and the manager said "let me get someone to clean their table" are you kidding me!? I love this place. I have been probably 20 times in the past year and plan to go many more times. They have great happy hour drink deals and the drinks are strong like they should be. The service is great and so is the atmosphere. Everyone always seems to be having a great time. The food is very good. The salsa is homemade so it varies every time. It is always delicious but I love knowing the salsa was made fresh and not just some delivered frozen stuff. My fiance and I love going on a date here every other week or so. We share a fajita meal, each get a margarita and then share another margarita for like $22. This is on a day where happy hour is all day which is like every Monday-Thursday. However there is one bad table and we happened to get it tonight. it is wobbly and back by the kitchen door and the wait staff's computer. they really need to remove that table. Salsa and Black bean dip with chips was brought to table as soon as we were seated, very good. Our wait time was 20 minutes at 7pm on Friday night. Casual ambience and very loud inside. Our party of 3 had the spinach enchiladas, fajitachanga (chicken) and fish tacos. I had the fish tacos and it had a real fishy smell when brought to table, was oily just average tasting. The fajitachanga was one of the best in town and spinach enchiladas were also good. I was reading about the 3.00 margaritas in previous post and the menu says house margaritas were only 3.00 however we were charged 6.00 each for the magaritas, I did not say anything just paid the bill, they were good. Management needs to update the menu price on the magaritas. Average rating was because of price discrepancy and fish tacos. Will try this place again since it is close to my house just will stay away from fish tacos and ask about magaritas prices next time. read more
