They sat is a bowl of fresh, delicious, tomato sauce with a dollop of ricotta. And then the bread to soak up the rest of the sauce. Then the pizza. Chewy, crispy dough with flavor, not just plain bread. It was the perfect texture. The sauce and cheese was the perfect ratio and were perfect. Seriously some of the best pizza I've had in Florida. The restaurant is adorable and feels like you're at your family's house having dinner. It reminded my husband and I of our favorite winery in Italy. Last but not least, there's Calogero. Warm and welcoming. Serving simple, delicious, homemade food. This man knows how to cook!!! If you want real Italian cooking, reasonably priced, that's not pretentious, just good food, visit Calogero. If it's a Sunday, get the meatballs with a glass of wine. I guarantee your Monday will be better because when you get up you'll still be thinking about them.

I arrived here around 8:05pm with my 2 sons after a long, hot day at Legoland! It wasn't that busy…read morewhen I arrived. They have a decent sized dining area. There is a sign that the lobby closes at 9pm. I went to the counter to review the menu. I noticed some of the "specials" aren't really specials. Example, large gourmet pizza and 12 wings special is $36.24 but separately, a large gourmet pizza is $18.97 and 12 wings is $13.19 which equals $32.16. Even an XL gourmet pizza ($21.56) plus wings is $34.75, which is cheaper than the "special". I went through a few of the "specials" and the same applies. The "gourmet" pizzas are even cheaper when you simple add on the toppings. I placed my order around 8:15pm. I got a large pizza (pepperoni and sauce), garlic knots, 12 wings (garlic parm) and 3 drinks ($1.60) a piece. They don't have fountain drinks. The total was $40.67. I told them I wanted it for here and was told they would bring it out to us. There is one tv in the dining area that played Nickelodeon. They have a paper towel dispenser on the wall near the kitchen entrance. That area looks like a bar area. That is also where the condiments are located. The Garlic knots came at 8:32pm, the Pizza came at 8:34pm, and the wings came at 8:37pm. All of the food was hot, in temperature. The pizza was great, no complaints! The wings were lackluster in taste. The Parmesan cheese overpowered the garlic versus them being complimentary. Additionally, it seemed like the Parmesan was just added on top versus the wings being tossed in them both. It didn't fit up to my liking for garlic parm wings. The garlic knots were huge and tasty. However, it seemed that the butter and garnish was only on one side versus all sides. Overall, it was a decent experience. The two staff present were friendly. I recommend ordering food from the menu versus using the "specials" if you really want a deal.

We checked out the venue and decided to take a chance on it and we are very happy that we did. The staff already helpful in answering a couple of our questions and also suggesting some of the items. The garlic knots were fantastic although I definitely recommend eating them quickly because there is a generous amount of garlic butter on them and the couple we left to the end we're a little bit more soggy. Although the first few were perfec. As other people have mentioned the burger was massive and tasted great, we will not expecting such a unique bun which made the burger even better. Unsurprisingly we were interested in getting a pizza and after the success of the garlic knots, we knew the pizzas would be great. I opted for pizza I pasty of not seen before which was the lasagna Pizza, as my favorite pasta dish I thought this was a no-brainer. The pizza had ricotta and pieces of beef on it. It was tasty, unique and I believe that any pizza is improved by the addition of ricotta so I was already sold. The pizza was a good size and I even took a couple of slices home. On top of everything else there was also an ice cream counter in the small venue, I can atest to the fact that however full I am there is always room for a sweet treat. It was wide variety of different ice cream flavors and I struggled to know what to choose. Overall we were very happy with our experience and did not expect to find something like this hiding on an alternate route we took due to traffic. We will certainly taking this route again and stop by soon!

The cheese was hot and it was delicious (I had a bite of my daughter's order). They ran out of garlic knots which was sad. That was part of the reason we were coming. We ended up with 3 out of 5 breadsticks we should have gotten with our orders, but they had run out of garlic knots and breadsticks. I feel like they could have substituted something else, but they were done and wanted to be off for the holidays already. There was a family who came in after us and apparently they were told they could sit and eat at first, but then they were told that they needed to go/could not stay to eat. Overall, the food was pretty good. The Parmesan cheese ran out and we were able to grab some from the fridge on the side by the door without having to wait for someone to get it which was good because after they drop food off, they don't come back since it's a pay and then sit down to eat vs. servers. If we were relaxing and trying to enjoy our meal, I don't think the ambiance was right for that. The people were cleaning up and getting ready to check out for the night and they were closed the next day so I would say they didn't need to be open if they wanted to leave and were going to make sure the customers felt like they were a burden. The food was probably 3.5 stars, but I gave them a 3 since it wasn't super welcoming.
