One of my favorite places to stop when I'm coming from work back to Tampa their pizza is amazing and Pastor is great. The people that take care of you they're extremely friendly also Italian setting the ambience is excellent like Italian what I was used to when I lived in New York. I would highly recommend them. read more

The penne Alfredo sauce was good and so was the manicotti. My gnocchi was ok, but I wish I had gotten manicotti. The cheese was hot and it was delicious (I had a bite of my daughter's order). They ran out of garlic knots which was sad. That was part of the reason we were coming. We ended up with 3 out of 5 breadsticks we should have gotten with our orders, but they had run out of garlic knots and breadsticks. I feel like they could have substituted something else, but they were done and wanted to be off for the holidays already. There was a family who came in after us and apparently they were told they could sit and eat at first, but then they were told that they needed to go/could not stay to eat. Overall, the food was pretty good. The Parmesan cheese ran out and we were able to grab some from the fridge on the side by the door without having to wait for someone to get it which was good because after they drop food off, they don't come back since it's a pay and then sit down to eat vs. servers. If we were relaxing and trying to enjoy our meal, I don't think the ambiance was right for that. The people were cleaning up and getting ready to check out for the night and they were closed the next day so I would say they didn't need to be open if they wanted to leave and were going to make sure the customers felt like they were a burden. The food was probably 3.5 stars, but I gave them a 3 since it wasn't super welcoming. read more

Palace Pizza - Grand MA round officially - Pizza Near Me - Lakeland, Florida

Went to Palace Pizza for Pi Day. Ordered a small pepperoni pizza and my partner and I decided to dine in. Pizza was hot and fresh. We were surprised at how quickly it was delivered to the table. The small was the perfect size for a party of 2. This location in Highland City never disappoints. Only thing that was disappointing as the location for not celebrate Pi Day (3/14). Totally missed marketing opportunity in my opinion. The pizza, however, made up for that though. read more

Pizza was good no complaints I always get a slice and it's always very good. But man was i disappointed in the spaghetti and meatballs man it was awful. Zero flavor and you can tell the sauce was from a can and meat balls were frozen. Spaghetti in county taste better and I'm not exaggerating. Service was good and they gave you a bunch but it wasn't edible. read more

Make sure to order the Veal Cacciatore. Maurice makes it the best! Fantastic flavor with your choice of pasta. Served with big huge garlic knots. The Grandma's Pizza is the best anywhere. You cannot get this pizza made like this anywhere else. read more

Love the palace! Pizza always tastes fresh and the lunch specials are awesome and even on the weekend! Staff are always friendly and service is prompt by ordering at the counter! Loved I couldn't a side salad instead of an extra slice of pizza with my lunch special! Palace Pizza in Highland city has amazing food! My husband speaks Italian so he's always talking to the owner. Recently, he prepared us an amazing meal with salmon and a cream pasta. Ordered pickup of large Pepperoni Pizza, Greek Salad and Chef Salad. Received undercooked pizza, and two 'garden' salads. Basically a head of lettuce with some olives. Shredded mozzarella, onions and tomatoes. Not what I ordered. Complained and was offered 10% off. Was also offered to come pick up some feta cheese. Unacceptable! read more

Palace Pizza - Bad Chef Salad with no meat. Not what was ordered. - Pizza Near Me - Lakeland, Florida

I ordered for this location instead of 98N and didn't realize it until I went to pic up my order. called this location from the parking lot of the north Lakeland location. This location's manager refused to give me any refund at all. I would understand not giving 100% but at least 50% would have been acceptable. The order was 1 large pepperoni, 1 large Cheese, and 2 orders of garlic knots. We all know it wouldn't if went to waste as there are 20 people ordering almost identical items that this could have been used to fulfill or at least used for slices . Very poor customer service. I asked them to make sure it wasn't thrown away and they said they can find someone to give it to.... PROBABLY TO ANOTHER PAYING CUSTOMER and just made double off of that pizza. we eat at this and the north Lakeland frequently and will not patron this location ever again. read more

Palace Pizza - two slices of pizza on a plate - Pizza Near Me - Lakeland, Florida

Downtown location is the best pizza in Lakeland. The atmosphere outside, the quality, the consistency, and the price cannot be beat. After tasting nearly every pizza place in Lakeland over the last decade, Downtown Palace is always going to be my go-to choice and recommendation! read more

This place is fast and inexpensive. We got two slices of pizza and a cannoli. The fire pits outside and strung lights were a plus and the Italian music in the background is festive. Staff are friendly and attentive. Not the best pizza we've ever had but not the worst. We would do it again after some drinks. Definitely steer clear of the water. read more

Probably best pizza in Lakeland, great atmosphere for a date night with my wife, and service is good, nothing to complain about!

Stopped in for lunch on a Tuesday at around 1230. It was not busy at all; we got right up to the counter and had the entire place almost to ourselves. We chose to order from the display pizzas but a large menus is posted if you'd like to order something special. Husband chose two slices of meat pizza and a beverage, kid chose one pepperoni slice and a beverage, I chose one chicken bacon ranch slice and a tomato basil slice and a beverage. All was tasty and around $20, so not too shabby. There's a display of desserts, if the fancy strikes you as well as side items of breadsticks or knots. I think this is a fairly new location and we're glad to have it on our side of town! It's right next door to the new Dairy Queen, too, so, bonus! read more

These owners harass me on a daily basis. I work at Publix next door. They both taunt and tease me, daily, and yell at me when I am leaving or going to work. They are rude, nasty and disgusting people. read more

They forgot to cut the pizza for me. Big slices that normal humans don't eat. Not sure why it wasn't completed.

I'm a tough pizza critic always searching for the best Italian / NY style pizzas. I just found my go to spot for when I'm in the area. Tried the margherita with no tomato sauce and a pepperoni mushroom. Both excellent. Will be back. read more

The food is excellent, however the entire time we were eating an employee was having a cell phone conversation very loud while we ate. I would never be allowed to do that where I worked. Very unprofessional and rude! After bringing it up to an employee, I was dismissed and said that was the boss Like it didn't matter what I said. I said I do not care who she is, it is unprofessional and rude and she should not be the boss. I will never come here again. To be disrespected as a customer and dismissed like my valid complaint meant nothing because she was the boss was once again disrespectful. So sad. Good food means nothing when you are disrespected as a Customer. read more

They just keep getting worse!! Orders not complete! Orders wrong all together! They don't even seem to care!! The pizza was raw in the center!! No sauce for cheese sticks!! When you address it with them you get laughter from them. I hope they all have a good time I will not be back!!! Maybe that's what they need to wake up no customers!!! They were so good three to four years ago, then COVID and it's like they just don't care!!! Maybe they need the guys that run the North Lakeland and South Florida Ave shops to come teach them about customer service!!!! Sad!!! read more

Just moved to Bartow about 2 weeks ago and found this place on Apple Maps and Yelp. My wife and I have been back 3 times in 2 weeks. So far our favorites are the calzones and Stromboli. We had the pizza and wings once. Oh yeah, the garlic knots are good. My wife and I have enjoyed the food, the hospitality, and the atmosphere. Can't go wrong, this place is good. read more

After 8 years, time to update my review. Sorry to say it lost a star. They have ample help--usually 4 behind the counter socializing, but are not making their high employee to customer ratio a formula for successful service. On my most recent visit, I ordered spaghetti with sausage, breadstick, glass of wine and dessert (for one). $24 was a pretty high cost for a pizza joint. The spaghetti and marinara came out steamy hot with lots of "gravy". But the sausage was barely warm with zero flavor-no fennel, no heat- the consistency of pate. (YUK). It's sad when flavorless sausage would make a meatball more flavorful. The service was so busy being social, they forgot the spoon request for the spaghetti, they forgot the glass of wine and they forgot the breadstick! Pitiful. Staggered meal delivery. I was the only customer in the place, they seemed to have a steady take out pizza business. One guy brought his pizza back with a complaint about the sausage--the lack of it as well as the fact it was dime disks and not "crumbly" (he hadn't even gotten the chance to enjoy the lack of flavor.) I am not a fan of their pizza sitting out and getting reheated upon ordering, though the variety is good. The wine was a generous serving, the dessert was delicious. If they want seated customers, they have to improve service accuracy or reduce prices. There are better products and service at Il Forno and Scarpa's for the similar costs. read more

BEWARE: Waited over 30 minutes for a plain cheese pizza with nobody else in the restaurant. It came out undercooked. Subpar service and subpar pizza. If you like well made pizza, this place is not for you! Our pizza came out undercooked with raw dough on every single slice. Instead of addressing it, a comment was made that we were at the "wrong restaurant". It was sitting in a To-go box above the oven for 30+ minutes while there were only 2 other customers in the restaurant at the time. There was no offer for a refund or even to just make us a proper fully cooked pizza. read more

Went to this place on a busy Saturday night. There were plenty of staff on hand. Had the spaghetti special and it was enormously large, however, the meatballs were not very good and tasted a little bit burned and bitter. Also tried the Bruchetta as an appetizer which has potential but it was sitting around and the bread was too dried out. The garlic knots were very dried out on top, too. Nothing really tasted fresh. Really liked the portions, price and atmosphere, but the food we tried was just So-So, unfortunately. I'd give them another shot maybe to taste their white sauce creations and dessert. read more

We normally take the family to Palace downtown or South Lakeland . I expected the same food at this pizzeria. The pictures on here look amazing, however a large pizza slice didn't even hang over on an appetizer plate. A New York slice does not look like a domino slice to me. I asked to make sure they hadn't given me a small by accident. Confirmed by 2 waiters that it was indeed a large and small would be half the size. Really! I can't even imagine read more

I visit this place often when I'm visiting family in the area. They are regulars here and love the food, the owners, and the convenience. The food here is standard, good, consistent, and plenty of it! The pizza is quite tasty and filling and the pasta dishes will feed two people, quite frankly. Whether you order ahead and pick up to take home or if you choose to dine in, the food is delicious, comforting, and just what you're looking for. Give them a try! read more

Ordered Grilled Chicken Ceasar Salad and the chicken was very tough and hard to chew.

Great Pizza, sandwiches and fresh salads. This place is a go to for us when we want pizza. A step up from the typical delivery pizza chains. Always fresh, hot ingredients. New York style pizza. Cheesesteak sandwich and pizza steak sandwich is a favorite in our house. Also the chicken Caesar is really good and very large portion. read more

We didn't expect to find such a nice little Italian restaurant in a strip mall. It doesn't look like much from the outside, but from the minute we walked in, we felt welcome and relaxed. Small but very good menu with nice wine and beer. Table service. Very clean. We had pizza and salad, both of which were very good. They have a lunch special-2 large pieces of pizza and a drink for $5.99. The manager came out to check in with everyone there. We would definitely return if we are ever in the area again. I wish we had someplace like this closer to home. read more

This restaurant was once a favorite lunch spot near the office. Todays experience was unsanitary and the staff was rude. Flies were landing on the pizzas, the dining room was not clean, and the area to leave dishes was filthy. This is unfortunate because we are here weekly in the past. Hopefully this review encourages management to make some much needed changes. read more

IF YOU'RE CRAVING GREAT PIZZA, COME HERE. Excellent service, great pizza. We eat pizza here about two-three times a month. The only critique is the amount of toppings, we love sausage. Sometimes just ordering sausage loads the pizza (love it); sometimes ordering extra sausage still doesn't load the pizza. But you get that sort of thing at a real, family owned italian place. Their Tiramisu and cannolis are fantastic. The dough is great, the sauce is good. We like a little seasoning on our pizza after it comes out of the oven. There is a guy at the to-go pick up window. He is the kindest, nicest worker you'll meet. Always willing to help you get what you want. I even heard him help a guy order fresh thinly-sliced lemons on his pizza. When Papajohns down the road started charging 16 dollars for a one topping pizza delivered before tip, we switched to this place. Normally a 16 inch large 1-topping pizza is $14.70ish. You can't be it. They don't deliver but that's okay. It's nice to get great food (but more toppings! :) ), and know that you are supporting a local business. The buffalo wings are good for being oven baked. We've never eaten in before, we want to, just haven't gotten around to it. They used to have a coupon where if you eat in you get 50% off the second entree. I work in downtown Lakeland by another palace pizza. Some say that it is the best pizza in town. I eat there every so often for lunch. I beg to differ. At the north 98 location you get excellent pizza and great service without a wait. Eat here. read more

Excellent!!! Maybe the best folded pizza I've ever had (I had the meat lovers). My mother had the soup of the day which was large, hot, tasty, and served with a delicious bread stick. As my mother said, each prepared slice looked better than the next. While I can only review these two items, I can't rave about this place enough!! Wish I wasn't here on a stop on a long ride as I'll never come back to taste their beautiful pan pizza, deep dish options, or classics like spinach and sausage white pizza!
