I arrived here around 8:05pm with my 2 sons after a long, hot day at Legoland! It wasn't that busy when I arrived. They have a decent sized dining area. There is a sign that the lobby closes at 9pm. I went to the counter to review the menu. I noticed some of the "specials" aren't really specials. Example, large gourmet pizza and 12 wings special is $36.24 but separately, a large gourmet pizza is $18.97 and 12 wings is $13.19 which equals $32.16. Even an XL gourmet pizza ($21.56) plus wings is $34.75, which is cheaper than the "special". I went through a few of the "specials" and the same applies. The "gourmet" pizzas are even cheaper when you simple add on the toppings. I placed my order around 8:15pm. I got a large pizza (pepperoni and sauce), garlic knots, 12 wings (garlic parm) and 3 drinks ($1.60) a piece. They don't have fountain drinks. The total was $40.67. I told them I wanted it for here and was told they would bring it out to us. There is one tv in the dining area that played Nickelodeon. They have a paper towel dispenser on the wall near the kitchen entrance. That area looks like a bar area. That is also where the condiments are located. The Garlic knots came at 8:32pm, the Pizza came at 8:34pm, and the wings came at 8:37pm. All of the food was hot, in temperature. The pizza was great, no complaints! The wings were lackluster in taste. The Parmesan cheese overpowered the garlic versus them being complimentary. Additionally, it seemed like the Parmesan was just added on top versus the wings being tossed in them both. It didn't fit up to my liking for garlic parm wings. The garlic knots were huge and tasty. However, it seemed that the butter and garnish was only on one side versus all sides. Overall, it was a decent experience. The two staff present were friendly. I recommend ordering food from the menu versus using the "specials" if you really want a deal. read more

We stopped at MJ's New York Style Pizza because it was next door to my mother's Nail Salon. Patrons make orders from the front counter and collect paper plates and plastic utensils from the counter and find a seat in the somewhat spacious dining room. We ordered a Supreme Gourmet Pizza and waited longer than expected for the pizza when we were one of two couples in the restaurant. The crust seemed tough and the ingredients seemed canned and under-cooked with almost no tomato sauce. The slice did not hold together as the center soggy ingredients fell off the front droopy crust. If you want water, you order a bottle at the counter and clear your own table when you're done. There was one employee who did all tasks. The cost was reasonably low but I'm not sure I will eat here again. read more

This pizza was excellent! Who would have expected to find such stellar pizza in a random strip mile in Cypress Gardens? Super glad to find Mj's! At closing time, we passed on the overpriced, mediocre food at LegoLand and decided to grab pizza at the closest well-rated business - and we chose Mj's, in a small plaza right around the corner from the Lego Beach resort, based on the excellent Yelp reviews. We put in our orderm and it was ready within 15 minutes. The garlic rolls were garlicy, chewy, yummy, and dripping in olive oil. The pizza crust had a wonderful texture and crunch, and it was easy to hold with a sturdy crust and a slice that kept its shape. Was it our extreme hunger after a long theme park day, or just delicious cuisine? We'll have to make sure the next time we are in the area. This gives me hope that there are other wonderful hidden gems to eat in this decidedly non-touristy area. read more

This is a quiet, unassuming pizza place in a strip mall. It serves up fresh, hot, delicious pizza with crispy crusts. The person that took our order was helpful with sharing a special that seemed relevant to the items we were discussing while trying to order at the counter. So perfect! We did a special that included a L cheese pizza and 12 wings for $25. We added extra toppings at $1 each. It's not fancy, but very tasty and served hot. We almost went to one of the restaurants in the Legoland Hotel, but this seems like much food for a lower cost- good value, for sure! Stop by for yummy pizza if you are in the area! read more

This is a great place to stop on the way home from LEGOLAND (5 easy minutes away). It's a basic take out place but does have a dining room (order at the counter). The food was pretty darn good - northing fancy but it was tasty. No kid's menu but they were happy to make a plate of ziti with just butter for our littlest one. Service was fast and friendly. The dining room was very quiet and only had one other family in (6 pm ish on a Monday but it's FLA public schools Spring break so LL was busy). After the family got done ordering I got skipped and they took the three people that came in after me. The main cook acted like he didn't see me and was plain ignorant. You would think he had a problem with me or something. Once I got my food they recognized me all of sudden and got my food that was ready and bagged. Messed up since I come here regularly. Visiting the area and tried this place on a Sunday afternoon. Pizza was outstanding. We had the largest meat lovers they had. Great ingredients, light sauce and very yummy NY style crust. Only issue is beverage selection when dining in. Water only comes in a bottle which you have to buy, but no fountain soda, only canned soda and very limited selection. For carry out, beverages don't matter. For dining in though? No selection and no fountain is a problem for us. Great pizza though!! read more

The falafel sandwich was a cold pita, with 1 cold chickpea ball cut in half, a green tomato cut in half, onion and some sort of bland meleted yogurt sauce they called tzatziki sauce. I had such a good experience here. The atmosphere is nice. The booths are spacious and comfortable. Mine was next to a window. The person who took my order actually saved me money with a suggestion rather than trying to upsell me. The staff was friendly in a genuine way. They had soccer playing. The pizza was tasty.
