it has been at least six months since I ate here until yesterday ordered two pizzas to take to the family. I could not believe the amount of grease. I called and spoke to the owner who stated due to the meat on it is why it is greasy. I have never had such a horrible pizza, dripping in grease. Owner made two new ones and they were still greasy will not be returning. $60 of garbage. read more

The service/staff were superb! We got the hoagie, spaghetti, and ravioli all were great! I would recommend this place to my family and friends! read more

Great for neighborhood pizza and pasta. Take out or eat in... delish.... Generous servings and reasonable prices...

After being raised in Brooklyn and having the best pizza in the world the military has taken me everywhere and trying to find a good pizza place equivalent to what I'm used to here in Lakeland was difficult. However after ordering here Palace Pizza has hit it out the park for me. We had the Neapolitan pizza with pepperoni and tomatoes and it was delicious. The baked ziti reminded me of NY with lots of melting cheese and ricotta and delicious handmade meatballs. We also dined in and the meatball appetizer was superb. I highly recommend and their prices are competitively priced. read more

So salty. Got takeout. It was ok. Got a pizza and lasagna that had pork (?) and hamburger meat, I wasn't expecting that. Of course my husband loved his pizza. It was pretty good. 3 stars because of excessive salt. read more

I visited this location by mistake, since I like the other palace Restaurants, not impressed Food was ok Service was terrible It's small so it gets crowded unless you are doing takeout it's probably ok I'm not coming back here there are plenty of other options read more

The food is excellent. Can be a bit pricey for subs. The service is good as well. The servers work well with customers. This gets a 5 due to the food being excellent. read more

Always good food and always good people thay work there. Don't go all that often though.

The veggie pizza was very good; it would have been even better if it had been hot. Maybe it was my bad for getting it to go. I mean, it was warm; it just wasn't burn my lips, give me a blister hot. Oh I didn't mention that? Yeah, I want my pizza and my coffee to almost scald me, burn the hair off my tongue, and it didn't do that, but HAVING SAID THAT, the taste of the veggie was spot on. I've never had eggplant on a pizza and that may be my new favorite thing. Ever. I'll give it a try again for sure. Maybe up this score from four to five stars then. Subliminal messaging...try the veggie, try the eggplant on the veggie. Do it, do it, I say! read more

The thin pizza was worth it, although the cheese was falling off the pie. We tried the garlic rolls full of butter and the garlic bread sticks and both were only warm and were either drenched in butter or had no taste at all. They were at both extremes. The owner seems like a cool guy though. read more

Palace Pizza - Mulberry - The buttery taste was overpowering in a really bad way. Served warm, not hot. - Pizza Near Me - Mulberry, Florida

Very good pizza by the slice. Affordable lunch special, 7.99 for two slices and a drink.

Best pizza place in the area it's like real Italian pizza even the white pizza is good. Not greasy and the ingredients are fresh. The knots are worth a treat every once in awhile they are covered in butter. All the Palace Pizza locations are worth eating at. Last few time the pizza wasn't as good and the very last pizza had a long black hair cooked into it. Won't be going back. read more

Best pizza I have had in FL for 6 years now. Try the chicken Parm pizza you won't be disappointed

Well with all do respect, I believe that as far as the pizza..... it could be a lot better if they just took their time and just listen to what the customer orders. Multiple times I've ordered a pie and never get it how I ordered. Idk if it's a lack in communication between staff but sheesh it's not that hard. Presentation and structure in a pie is important. Some food is frozen that you can buy at a store and heat up yourself... Jus saying. read more

My husband and I recently moved to this area. I actually found this place because we were looking up close pizza shops that had the best reviews. This one had the highest reviews so we decided to check it out and placed an order for delivery. That was about a month ago. Since then we order here a lot. The delivery drivers are always great and fast, it's a joy to have them deliver! We came to the restaurant for a sit down meal a few days ago and absolutely loved it! The environment, the food and service are all amazing. The pizza is amazing and as close to NY pizza as you're gonna get! The taste is the best I've had. The wings are cooked perfectly! Crunchy on the outside, light, fluffy and juicy on the inside. The garlic knots are to die for, crunchy and fluffy! Everyone we interacted with were nice and welcoming. We will definitely be coming here more often. read more

We have always loved this place and have been getting food from here for over 14 years now. We have not used them in a little while because of our own personal situation however wanted to treat ourselves so we splurged last night and ordered some take out. They always had authentic Italian food and was delicious and the staff was friendly and professional. Unfortunately it appears they have changed. Our pick up order was not what we ordered and was not up to their normal high standards on quality. When I called to explain the situation they did not appear to care about the errors in the order or the quality of the food. We will not be going back until I hear they have returned to themselves. Has definitely gone downhill. read more

Food is good. Enjoy the pizza, but the last two times my order was wrong. Once ordered meatballs with order, did not recieve. Next, order was wrong, ordered grill chicken sandwich, received chicken parmigian. Associates need to make sure order is correct. Always plenty of associates at store, maybe not paying enough attention to customers orders And possibly too much playtime read more

My second favorite pizza place in the area. The pies are really good, however they never seem to ring up my order the same and every time. I ask for a large I arrive to an extra large and a couple more dollars than I expected. It's really no big deal, but some people can't afford something they didn't ask for. Also, when you have an option to order online the in store price should match the online price which is the reason I started noticing the variances. Anyway, other than the small hiccup with a couple dollar variance on a few occasions the pizza is delicious. A little greasy but it's pizza so not really a deal breaker. The XL pizza is HUGE. I'll definitely continue to visit. Oh and the Tiramisu is awesome!!! read more

Palace Pizza - Mulberry - Meat pizza with garlic rolls and Cherry Coca-Cola was delicious. - Pizza Near Me - Mulberry, Florida

I have no idea how this place consistently gets great reviews. Three years ago I bought 2 restaurant.com certificates. Used one then, pizza was not good. So bad in fact, that the other $15 certificate sat on my phone for 3 years. Tried it again. CANNED mushrooms? Breaded fried EGGPLANT on pizza? YUCK! The menu lists your choice of five items but they don't ask you and if want other things, chances are they don't have it (spinach, artichoke). Full garlic cloves, green pepper, onion, frozen broccoli bits, canned mushrooms, and fried eggplant is what comes on it. YUCK! I spent $40 (including the $15 certificate) on 2 pizzas and the meat lovers was only okay and the vegetarian was absolutely awful. Awful. At $20 for the vegetarian and only 2 pieces were eaten, those 2 because we had to try it. I have never been more disappointed than I was here. If this is "authentic" from anywhere, I never want to go there for pizza. It was all soggy, very little sauce and cheese, just not good. I remembered why I hadn't redeemed the $15 coupon in three years. read more

I always buy pizza here because it's close and the pizza is delicious. Great people to order from

Great pizza and only 20 minute wait. No delivery, but it's just down the road from us. Very happy to have an authentic pizza place so close! We'll be back for sure! read more

Wow! Delicious NY style pizza! I'm a New Yorker and have had some amazing pizza! This taste just like NY pizza! I wish the place was a little bigger though. The inside dinning area is very small and with just a few families dinning in can make it feel very crowded! But they do have a couple of other locations in the area. I think this location is my favorite though! read more

First, I must say this place has the best pizza by far, now with that said, I ordered a Calzone last week this time instead. I got the combination, just meatballs instead of pepperoni. It was made correctly and in the time specified. But...I paid $9.00+ for cooked pizza dough, and the garlic, butter and cheese topping was sparse on top, it would have help get the pizza dough down if it would have had more. I don't expect a overstuffed sloppy Calzone, but this was ridiculous. I have had several issues in the past, and it is always when the owners are not there, this also seemed to be the case this time too! The staff was friendly as always, but my Calzone was such a big disappointment, I should have gotten the pizza! read more

Palace Pizza serves great NY style pizza! Awesome crust, very good sauce, and they use excellent cheese. A mark of true NY style pizza you can fold the pizza slice and it holds, exactly how Palace Pizza's pizza is. The garlic rolls are a low cost don't miss item "very delicious" A Pizza Palace 16" large pizza is not much more in cost than the franchise pizza places, spend a couple more bucks if you want real good pizza, you'll be happy you did. Btw the staff and service is very good, you can see the family owned and operated pride. read more

I walked in the first (and last) time i'll ever eat there. The guy who waited on me had "Meth mouth". for those of you out of the know, it's when a young person, who by all rights should have his teeth, has a mouth full of rotten and missing teeth. Then he starts a conversation with me. I order. Then some old man, probably the owner or manager yells at me for keeping his employee from working. Keep in mind, I'm a customer! On to of all that. the food wasn't that great. read more

Average... Service - Below average. Called and asked if they could put cheese on garlic bread (was on the menus my wife found online), but they said they couldn't. Wasn't a busy night that they couldn't have. Quality - Below average. Definitely a New York style pizza but sauce was runny and bland. Garlic knots were chewy, garlic heavy (as advertised) but not amazing. Cost - Average. Against big brands (Dominos, Little Caesars, Hungry Howie's) it was over priced. For a small business it was ok, the gap you have by not being able to provide the price of the big brands you fill with quality and service... I didn't see it. read more

The pizza is usually great but today when we went in the bruschetta was premade and sitting out. Can't that go bad quickly? Also the croutons in the Ceaser salad were soggy. Was not impressed by this location. read more

Pizza is very good by polk county standards. But it ends there. Their meals are very sub-standard. You can tell they sell frozen items. Meatballs are tasteless and tough and super small. $4 for five tiny meatballs in a sauce that tastes as its from a can. Barely any sauce in spaghetti. But spaghetti was well Boiled. What a rip off and disappointment. I've had chicken Parm, lasagna, baked ziti, and Alfredo. Same for all dishes. And the Alfredo is very obviously a canned sauce! Greasy, pasty, salty and repulsive. For these prices cooked food should be fresh and much better quality. I have seen them make the cannolis. The shells come in a box. The cannoli cream comes in prepackaged food service bags. None of it is fresh. All the friendly service in the world could not make up for the bad food. read more

There is no bad about this place. The service is attentive, helpful and all around great. The food is fresh and hot. The desserts are great! Prices are decent to food. the food quality and quantity has steadily decreased but the pizza is still a fairly good bargain. We bought the zita with sauce for $7.95 and that's all it was... ziti and sauce, no meat, no side salad...you could make this dish for like .50 cents. the lasanga was a small portion (use to be much larger) and was store-bought quality in taste and this small serving was like $8.75. read more
