They were having a 30% off sale on all wigs. But honestly I think they mark them up a little so you feel like your getting a deal with the 30% off. Because the wigs are kind of pricey. But they have so many to choose from. There's a section in the back where you can try them on, and they'll even help you style it. The store is well stocked and has some interesting things inside. Some of the lipstick and eyeshadows have testers, which I can appreciate. They have cute costume jewelry, so I love getting earrings from here. Because I won't freak out if I lose them, because they're inexpensive. I lose an earring almost every week. Lol. They had cute nose rings . I also saw they sell air fresheners. They had a few Arabic scents. The eye lash section was a decent selection!! With so many to choose from!! They also have nail supplies, like brushes, acrylic, tips, and etc. If you're looking for hair or nail supplies, check them out!!

I would normally shop Black-owned beauty supply stores for specifically Black hair care products, but I did not feel like driving all the way to Richway especially during rush hour traffic. Customer service here was subpar, which is usually expected with these type of businesses (Asian-owned in predominantly Black areas). I was not greeted upon entry. Fortunately, I wasn't followed around. They had a decent variety of products; however, not as much as Richway or even Beauty 21 (which isn't Black-owned, but the store has a large variety and I'm usually greeted). Prices here are about the same as most beauty supply stores. You need to purchase $5 worth of products to use a credit/debit card. I was thanked for my purchase, but not told to have a good day. I probably won't return unless I absolutely needed something and couldn't make it out to Richway or even Beauty 21 in time. I would have preferred to spend my money at Richway.

They always have Christian music playing and its nice to listen to while shopping. They normally are pretty cool but on this occasion they followed me around which made me a little uncomfortable. I'm assuming people have been stealing. So to a point i can understand. But i almost walked out and didn't buy anything. It was just to obvious. I spend good money there!! That's my only complaint. They have tons of wigs and hair pieces to choose from. Most are lace fronts which are more expensive. I like this store. Check them out!

But I visited this location close to 4 pm. I was happy to see the signs for the sale displayed in the window and throughout the store. The products were clearly marked letting you know what was on sale. All the shampoos conditioners , for my naturals all the curling and twisting custards , all 25% off. If you're looking to try any new products this would be a good time to go. I came in to get some products to style a wig. The cashier who checked me out was very knowledgeable about different tools and products. Also upon entering I was greeted immediately and asked if I needed any help looking for a certain item. For me I really like when I'm greeted and asked if I need help. It's so easy to get in a store and say you're there for brushes then you end up buying eyelashes. Lol at least that's me. But when an employee asks me what I'm looking for It helps me save money and also time. I've heard in the past that Sally's doesn't cater to women of color (melanwhat I saw at this location there were a lot of products that catered to my brown skin family which was nice to see. The store is a bit musty, old looking, and derelict. It's no secret JCPenny is on the down swing - this bargain department store has some die hards among the boomers but it's not popular with younger folks. Still, they do have some good sales and cute clothing if you're willing to browse. I only went upstairs to the second floor home section to try to find these pillows. I found them, woooo, and for two it was $230 (insane I know but they're amazing) - the sticker said what looked to be buy one get one free as well as a 35% teacher discount my husband had. So we tried to verify if the signage was right and the coupon could be used. I walked the entire upstairs looking for a register to check/pay and couldn't find one or a single employee working up there. So I had to carry these huge pillows to the first floor - again - walking all around looking for an employee and a place to pay. The ladies at jewelry checked the price but said they had no idea about the sale and couldn't help me - I'd have to go stand in line and they pointed to the SINGLE register for the entire store apparently with like 12 people in line. Nooooopeeeeee - I'm out. Not impressed. Buh-bye.
