Salon Two Twenty - Blow out by Audrey - Hair Salons Near Me - Lodi, California

In my 35 years of life I have never not ever cried in the chair. I'm new to the area so I've been looking for a new stylist. I saw some reviews for Madison and how she was good with blonde and blending. So I booked with her, mind you it's my birthday this weekend and I'm hosting thanksgiving. My appointment is at 12:30 I arrive at 12:27. There was a girl on her phone outside that I made eye contact with (which was Madison). I was greeted by another stylist and she told me Madison was just finishing up and would be out soon. She came in and didn't come out until 12:37 she greets me and asks me how I'm doing but immediately turns around and sprints back to her area. She then immediately asks me if I have plans for thanksgiving which I thought was kind of odd, almost like they're scripted questions they have to ask. Then she finally asks me what I want for my hair- I tell her I'm low maintenance and just looking to go dirty blonde- my hair is yellow blonde and 3/4 down on my hair and gray on top. This appointment was booked for a full hair color btw. So I tell her and then she tells me that I would see my roots more so I asked what she recommended and she told me that I should do grey blending. But then was like " ok let me go mix your color" OK.... I also showed her a picture of what I wanted and reiterated I wanted dirty blonde. Madison came back and we started chatting a bit, but again scripted questions not genuine getting to know my client questions. Madison mentioned how I have a lot of hair(key to later) I noticed how she never sectioned my hair to color just left it all down and kept parting it- weird... the conversation stopped and she chatted with her coworker. The chair had been turned away from the mirror the whole time so I never saw the color she was using. Then she used foils for some pieces of hair. When she was done she told me she was going to let me sit and be back, I was suprised because she left all the foils laying on my face with color on them. She didn't check on me at all but then came back to take me to the wash area. She tells me to sit down and that if I wanted to put my feet up to pull the lever...myself.... Ok..I ask her then if she's going to be able to get the color off my face she acted like she didn't know and say oh yea it's should come off. She starts washing and I could tell something was wrong because she kept searching through my hair and stopping. Then proceeds to tell me that my some of my hair didn't take the color because of my grey.. no, you just didn't sectioned my hair and do it properly. So I say again in the bowl laying down with color on my hair. When that was done she wrapped my hair in the turban to the point I could not see my hair yet. When I sat down in the chair she said that my chair had to face away from the mirror because of she cord. So again couldn't not see my hair. Now again I have THICK CURLYISH hair, she starts brushing my hair super rough and basically yanking my head to the side. She says " your hairs curly" and I ask her if she's worked with curly hair before because she didn't add any product to my hair. She proceeds to keep brushing roughly basically breaking my hair and I guess hoping the knot unravels eventually? Madison starts to blow dry my hair- doesn't section it at all has it all laying flat down- didn't even ask me what side my part is on just started blow drying my hair flat. I've never had a stylist do this. After 30 minutes she turns me around and says " it's a little dark huh" and fluffing my hair as if she was done. I was so upset, my hair looked awful, dry and still DAMP!! I told her "I'm going to be honest with you, my hair looks awful and it's still damp?!" She says " well I'm not done yet I was just showing you, I'm going to curl it" MY HAIR IS STILL DAMP. Madison doesn't care that I was upset but then offers " I can put highlights in if you want" my hair is 2-3 shades darker than I wanted it brown!! I would not ever trust her to touch my hair so I said no. She goes back to blow drying the SAME WAY!! I start crying out of frustration. No sectioning no parting nothing just keeps brushing it down and blowing on it, brushing so hard on my scalp over and over and over. So so bad. She used the curling iron at this point and all the curls fell completely flat because my hair was still damp! She says I'm done and meet you up front. Then she says something to the girl up front and they both look at me walking up. She hands me her phone to pay and then says have a nice day! Do not go to Madison!! She needs training, she needs to shadow a seasoned stylist this was such an awful experience and she could have cared less. She was distracted the whole time and didn't even focus on me- my one day of pampering before my birthday and she ruined it. Now my hair is brown and will have to pay more to fix it back to blonde. I didn't even get full head of color just root touch up and toner!! Such a joke. read more

Received the headspa treatment. I was thinking it was more of a spa service, but in reality it is more of a scalp treatment. Service was nice, but expensive. Also received a basic haircut and blow dry. Didn't really get the cut I wanted (my hair was very grown out and curved into almost a V shape. I wanted a simple straight cut across-one length) she basically just trimmed the ends. Ended up cutting it myself later. (And yes I did communicate with the stylist, but after her continuing to trim and not cut across-I gave up). Salon vibes were young and weird-not that I'm old--just wasn't my vibe. Almost like hanging out at your local high school. Felt judgy. Will I be back, no. read more

Had my hair cut here last week, when I came in I explained exactly what I wanted and showed pictures. My hair was at a grown out a line stage. I wanted to go a little shorter to make the a line have some body and take some weight off my hair. Nothing too crazy! I've had it cut this way plenty of times. My stylist name was Taylor, she was a very lovely girl. I couldn't really see over the counter into the mirror while the chair was really low. When she was done cutting it, it felt light and looked really short, my a line was gone but I honestly couldn't get a feel for it until I came home to style it myself. When I did, I realized it wasn't stacked at all and it was just dealing disappointing. I wanted to give her a chance to fix it, but she hasn't replied to my personal text. Really disappointed and for the cost not worth it, at all! Update, the stylist messaged me back: I don't think I would be able to fix it for you. I don't see what you mean. I do understand that the inspo picture is shorter in the back then we cut yours. The front of yours is the same length as the picture I'm my opinion. I don't know what I would be able to do to make you like it. To your reply: I had to go to my old hairstylist who is out of town and you cut my hair uneven in the back and the layers were done wrong. If you couldn't have fixed it, someone from your salon should have reached out. I never asked you to cut my hair that short. If you couldn't do it you should have told me. I trusted you and considering this salon was highly rated is a complete disappointment. I wasn't asking for something crazy. read more

I got my hair done here yesterday for the first time. I recently had a baby and haven't been able to cut my hair in almost a year. I booked with Addy online with very short notice, she accepted my appointment even though she had the day off. ADDY WAS AMAZING. She was professional, kind, and very informational about products, face framing, and the length I was debating back and forth between. The salon was clean, friendly, and so cute. It was comfortable being there and such a treat for a self care day. They offer many services which is phenomenal. I'm happy to say I have found a salon and a hair stylist in lodi that I can go to for years to come. Highly, highly, highly recommended! read more

Kim Luke did my hair for a recent event. She was just great. She reviewed a couple of the photos I brought and out together something that lasted the whole length of a day! So easy to book. Very responsive and even set me up with Delores, who on a whim, got my set up w spectacular makeup. If you're in Lodi or Stockton and looking for a place to get it all done, this is it. read more

Hands down the BEST salon in Lodi. Excellent service, clean, friendly and amazing products. Absolutely the best.

Too bad many of their stylists don't return texts/calls, plus the stylist I went to a few times (let's just say her name starts with an N) is super rude if you aren't happy, like literally your job is to fix your mistakes not get defensive. She also broke a lot of my hair off on top of my head and would leave me at the sink way too long, she also will try to do another client while you wait forever. NOT COOL to double book . Wouldn't recommend! read more

I went in with pitch black hair and Sydney took on my project! I went to a reddish brown and now this time around added highlights. I absolutely love my hair and the time she took accomplishing it! She was through and went into detail about what was possible with my hair color. I loved that my hair is still healthy after the whole process. I highly recommend everyone to book with her. Plus she's super sweet, I'll for sure keep going to her for all my hair needs. read more

I got a last minute appointment with Autumn yesterday and it was amazing. She listened when I told her I always regret cutting my hair too short and said she would cut a little bit and I can come back later next week if I decide I wanna go shorter. She was very professional and sweet! I definitely found my hair girly in Lodi. Thank you Autumn!! read more

Taylor did such an amazing job with my formal updo! So sweet and so fast!!! Was in and out within 30 minutes!

First of all I would like to say that Nicole was doing my hair, and I was very pleased with the way it looked. After going to her for a couple of months she rushed did my hair and my roots were still brassy yellow because she didn't leave the bleach in my hair long enough. So I called her so she could fix it. It was obvious she was not happy to redo my hair, she was very sloppy got my sweater all wet after washing my hair out and bleached my black sweater because of it. Then I tried getting in contact with her and she ignored my texts and calls. I find this very unprofessional and rude. I will never go there again. Poor service, if you don't want to make your customers happy then this job isn't for you Nicole. read more

STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE! Jess confirmed by appointment one week prior, and also the automated text 72 hours earlier. She knew my appt was to color for a wedding happening 2 days later. Less than 24 hours she cancels my appt with no referral or any subsequent contact to reschedule. If clients are charged $50 for cancellations less than 24 hours, where is the accountability for flaky stylists?? She was seen working that following Monday yet still no follow up call or apology. I spoke with several other stylists and salon owners and they advised to let the public know about the rude and unprofessional Jess. Her work is subpar and definitely not worth the hassle. Thankfully I was referred to a wonderful stylist who did a magnificent job just in time for the wedding! read more

I went in today to get my hair blown out and left there very disappointed. I've gone to this salon for blowouts in the past bUt never before had I experienced such disappointment had my appointment with Nicole and maybe she was having a bad day but my experience was one of the worst experiences I've ever had in a beauty salon. I have an even to go to today and my hair doesn't look like I just had it done in a salon. I'm sorry I had to pay money for my hair too look a mess. I won't be going back to salon two twenty. read more

Confirmed appointment via text message sent out several days prior to appointment and showed up early/on time for appointment. Waited nearly 15 minutes before leaving - not ONE staff member acknowledged that I was in the waiting area or welcomed me into the salon, clearly waiting for an appointment. Very rude and unwelcoming. After clicking on 'appointment details', found out the salon had switched my appointment to a different stylist, not that I wanted a different stylist. A phone call would have been preferred if there has been a staffing change or a stylist has moved. Poor customer service, poor communication, and snobby salon personnel. (No wonder why my stylist has likely moved to another location!) read more

Let me just start by saying how cute the salon is! Its so bright and fresh and has such a fun feel! The service was excellent! I have long thick hair and came in for a blow out for a wedding, I loved how it turned out! Austin was my stylist and did a great job! I got my makeup done by Shandi who is awesome! She does an amazing job and she is my go to makeup artist for any special event! They have a huge selection of products. The service came with a glass of local wine which was such a nice touch! Parking in downtown Lodi can be tough, but the salon has plenty of parking and so easy to get to! Such a great addition to downtown and can't wait to for my next visit! read more

My experience was HORRIBLE!!!!... I had my extensions done by Kayla. I drove 4 hours to have this done. As I was driving home 30 mins after having them done half of them fell out. The other half was also put in incorrectly, and put in so tightly they buckled at the scalp. They didn't lay flat so every single beads was exposed and showing. Most of the beads were crimped so there was no way of opening them to loosen at the scalp. I was forced to have them cut out. Because some of the beads had to be cut the hair was not salvageable to have reinstalled. I messaged her directly the same day as soon as I got home and explained my disappointment and experience. She offered to reinstall them. I explained because of the poor installation the beads were broken and the hair couldn't be salvaged. I was incredibly reasonable and only asked for my money back for the installation. She has refused to respond or refund my money. BUYER BE WARE!!!!. Completely unprofessional!!! Not qualified or experienced!!! Please view pics posted... read more

What a great bunch of beautiful ladies. Always a fun experience. Keep up the good work.

I was visiting my fiance's family and made a same day online appointment for a blowout. Upon arrival I was met by the owner, Celena, who told me that the stylist who had accepted my appt was not available. Instead, Celena opted to come into work, on her day off nonetheless, to assure that I was taken care of, even for such a minimal service. She gave amazing service, we had great conversation, and she even gave me an eyebrow trim and a partial style for no additional cost. I HIGHLY recommend this salon, and will definitely return should I be in the area in the future. read more
