Been getting my hair cut by the owner for 30 years. She does amazing work and has a beautiful personality. I highly recommend her salon!

This is a nice place and they do good service but the employees are so rude. 100% would not recommend Whitney, she is extremely careless and pays no attention, she has cut my hair 3 separate times and when I scheduled my next appointment; when I got there she acted like she didn't even know me and that I didn't have an appointment, I showed the text and then she said "oh sorry I can't put you in today but can you reschedule" I drove 30 minutes and she didn't even try to apologize she just told me I had to reschedule. Go book with Ashley Duenas because she will go above and beyond what you need. She will cater to how you want your hair done. I came twice to her to get my hair where I want it. i take it that a bunch of yelpers that are spamming my yelp review are part of the salon or know the stylist. Don't get your hair done by *****audreana Lang**** she sucks at her job I ended up going to another salon because the hair dye was not permanent and it didnt stay in my hair for longer then 1week the actual hairstylist that know what they're talking about said that it didn't look close to it that the color was so wrong. My hair actually kept falling out to for the lack of chemical she used.her so called friends messaged me saying I should be grateful... like seriously why should I be grateful??? for not getting my hair cut that I wanted. For getting my hair close on the color. For bad customer service that she kept rushing finishing my hair cuz her lack of planning her schedules and on top off and her joking around with her friend that was their 90% of the time being annoying. First time at this salon today and I can't say I was disappointed! Lena is AMAZING. I told her what I wanted, and she did it all! I haven't found a hair person I like here in Lodi, and today I found her! She fixed my ratchet head of hair(from Supercuts, go figure) and gave me bright blonde hair and dip dye teal...I'm so in love with it. Anyone that knows me knows that I love Tanya Furhman. I've been going to her since I was in high school.. Over 12 years! If you are a blonde and need highlights or lo-lights she is your girl. She is also the best at color. I've been red, brunette, and back to blonde many times. Now I stick to blonde! She also does a base breaker. If you don't know what a base breaker is then you probably should be seeing Tanya ;) I live in San Francisco now but grew up in Lodi, and I still make a trip once every couple of months to get my roots touched up by her. Not only does she do great work, but she's so much fun to be around. Hint: Gary's Lounge will let you take drinks over to the salon too. read more

Holly Gaston is the absolute best hair stylist I've ever met. She works with anybody and everybody on what your desired style is. She is the type to make sure you are happy and if there is an issue in her work she will fix it. Not to mention she is the most beautiful and fun person to be around. She makes you feel beyond comfortable when being there. I will never go to somebody else. I hope she's still doing hair at 90 because I can't live without her as my hair stylist. I was recommended by Carrie, owner of the salon, to try the hairstylist Holly. First of all I should of seen my first red flag when she was practicing on mannequins hair in her working area. Anyways I went along because I was told she knew how to remove black hair ( I wanted to go brown). When she finished & I got to see how it looked I immediately noticed that my hair wasn't even remotely close to brown as I requested, it was copper! Major disappointment. She said one more session and my hair would be brown. I gave her the benefit of the doubt because I heard when removing black hair it takes some sessions so I gave her one more chance. When I arrived for my second appointment Holly wasn't even there, twenty minutes later she finally arrived and began dying my hair. She made it even worse, my hair then went from copper to orange. The bottom half of my hair was severely damaged and extremely dry. To make it even worse pieces of my hair began falling off. I had to go to another hairstylist, not from Visible Changes, to correct the damage that Holly did. The new hairdresser that I went to could not believe that Holly was a licensed hairstylist. Do not go to Holly, she will ruin your hair. I would like to make note that she is so unprofessional to talk poorly about her workers, in particular, the girl who sits behind her working area. I believe that gal's name started with M. It's hard to believe that a salon would look this dirty because I remember going Visiable Changes when Veronica Rio's owned it and she, as well as the workers, were professional and very well cleanly managed. It's a shame Veronica left, she was truly an amazing person and hairstylist. read more

I get my nails done by Stacy Carpenter here and LOVE it! I thought it would be more expensive to go to a upscale salon for my nails vs the typical Asian run nail salons, but it was cheaper and better quality! If you like getting your nails done this is the place to go!!! read more

Visible Changes is a great salon in Lodi-- and has been for over ten years! In a nice, big building in Downtown, tucked between Prett Boutique and the bank, is this wonderfully clean salon! My stlyist's name is Kim Boyce. My Aunt has been going to her for as long as I can remember-- and she's got fabulous hair. So a few years ago when I decided to commit to one stylist, I chose her! She's current, uses great products (Frameisi, Vero, etc.), and is one of the nicest people you will ever meet! Her cuts are fantastic and she's the type who wont ever flake on you! If I could give negative stars I would. Avoid this salon at all costs - worst salon experience of my life! Overpriced for unprofessional results! I have fine, shoulder length hair and I came in for an ombre and a small trim - my total came out to $200 dollars. I ended up with yellow hair up to the crown of my head instead of cool blonde starting around my chin like the pictures I came with. My "trim" was an entirely new hair style which featured short layers in the front, starting at my chin - having fine hair this looks like a mullet. No I have crunchy blonde hair that is processed, not the color, style or cut I wanted. I had to completely start over and cut if all off - 4 inches of hair and $200 down the drain =( read more

I've had to schedule last minute and late appointments with her and she always goes out of her way to accommodate my schedule-she's beyond an extraordinary hairdresser, beautician, and friend. I wish I could give a no star review....first of all I saw megan's work on Facebook and her pictures of the hair she had done was amazing...so I messaged her and asked her how much for a balayge ombre, and she told me $80, so I was excited, I went in and showed her a picture and told her I wanted it exactly like that. She did my hair and it wasn't even close to the blonde that I wanted so she told me next time we can go more blonde...so I made another appointment and she charged me $45.. so I was like um ok...second time...still not even close to the blonde I wanted...made another appointment,(still not the blonde I wanted) before I left I asked her how much and she specifically told me no charge that I was good...later in the day she messaged me and said she was charging me $60...how can you say no charge to $60? So she wanted me to pay $185 so far and I was not happy with my hair still...I told her that she had told me no charge and she kept coming up with excuses like I didn't have time to think then or she cares about my hair....I told her I paid for you to go the blonde I wanted not to care for my hair, that's my job..anyways...we ended at her saying I was stealing if I didn't pay her...it's not my fault she said no charge then messages me to pay her 60. How unprofessional. I will never go there again or recommend anyone.. read more

But once she called back I was able to call in to the salon and Lauren was happy to help with directions! I had Lauren.
