She is up in modern techniques, she always dry cuts hair in order to ensure you get the length you want with your natural texture, and the Bumble and Bumble products the Salon uses are awesome. My mom has been going to her for YEARS and she's given me hair cuts here and there over the years but it was a total no-brainer to have her do my hair. I live in the bay area and it was difficult for me to get home to Lodi for a consultation. We ended up doing the consult 2 days before the wedding. She was amazing and did 4 different looks in like an hour and half. Day of she did an AMAZING job. I've added a couple couple of photos... it was a very whimsical, loose up do and amazingly it did NOT move all night. It was picture perfect even at the end of the night. I've been coming to Ciao Bella for some time and at first I saw sort of whomever was available, sometimes I'd have to walk in last minute so it was nothing against any one stylish or anything. But for the last 6-7 years I've gone and solely seen Jessica Camacho. She is sweet and wonderful and for me it seems people have trouble cutting curly hair but I've always gotten a wonderful cut from Jessica. She communicates to make sure you get what you want. She has also colored and basically always styles my hair too and always done a wonderful job. Even if she were no longer at Ciao Bella I would follow her because I can trust her with my hair and I don't feel like I'm just throwing money at her or anything either like I've had in the last with other stylists. She sends me reminders for my appointments - makes paying extremely easy & convenient! We always have great conversations, she is very friendly and professional. I have only been here once but I think the atmosphere/ambiance is really cute. The whole reason for me to drive from Sacramento to this place in lodi is because of the world's best hair stylist EVER. I HIGHLY recommend Jillian Brizendine. I followed her from James Mark Salon (in Elk Grove) to Lodi. And even with gas costing me 4bucks a gallon I still made the 40mile trip out to get my hair cut by Jillian, the morning of my graduation ceremony. Okay, this is how GREAT jilian is - you know how they say to not get your haircut right before a big event like prom, wedding, highly anticipated date, GRADUATION?? I trusted in Jillian's skills to get my hair cut right before the grad ceremony, knowing that I would have no time to fix any mistakes etc. Because with jill, there are NO mistakes. She did a GREAT job on my hair, as usual. I wanted my hair to have more choppy layers but keep the length.. she knew exactly what i was talking about. My hair looks awesome! It's naturally pretty straight so i can either just step out of the shower and let it air dry for a really cute sleek yet voluminous (because of all the awesome layers) look or I can blow dry it and then straighten it for that typical asian look. My boyfriend loves it too, he cant keep his hands off my hair. Oh, and for me personally, I judge how great a hair cut is by two things: 1. how it looks when it just naturally dries (no styling) and how it looks if I let it grow out for months and months. Jillian's cuts ALWAYS passes both tests with flying colors. I can go for at least six months without cutting and it still grows out really nicely. Was in Lodi for a wedding and made an appointment to have my hair washed and styled. I read reviews and they were positive. I walked out of salon and my husband said what happen you did not get your hair done? The stylist asked me if i liked it and i said it was fine but if she thought that it was styled i did not want to spend any more time in there. I went back tp hotel and used my curling iron. Some of my relatives saw my hair and were glad they did not make appointments. I consider the experience doing my part for the economy. CAUTION!!!!!!! If you value your hair, time and money. I've seen Tracy Stirlen a couple times and received a mediocre cut and color each time. The most recent experience is what motivated this yelp review. Here it goes...I came in for my regular cut and color for my light brown hair with blond highlights. I'm not kidding when Tracy was done, 2.5 hours later, I had DARK brown hair with hair dye all over my face and hairline. Tracy told me to go home and use nail polish remover for the dye she left all over my face...Really!? As if that wasn't bad enough she was on her cell phone while I was processing and didn't notice that the product had BURNED my scalp. So, upon getting home, I noticed I had multiple oozing scabs on my head.I contacted Tracy immediately afterward and she ignorantly recommended I come in and have more blond applied to my burnt scalp within two days of this happening. I refused to come in again and have my hair subjected to more color when I had open sores. I politely requested a refund and was ignored. I paid $160 dollars for this mess of a job and I would never subject my self to her mismanagement ever again. read more

Nice place! Very clean & fancy! I got my hair cut by Jillian. She did a wonderful job! I just got a simple trim,which for me was six inches. I had hair down to my butt and was struggling with headaches from the weight of my hair being up in a bun (I'm a stay at home mom with a toddler, I don't have time or need to do my hair, so I bun it up to keep it out of my face). Well, I was basically just looking to take some weight off, so off went six inches and she thinned it out perfectly. My hair is still long and I love how it looks in a ponytail now! Jennifer Stearns is AMAZING! After multiple butchered hair cuts she saved me. She explained what she was seeing in my hair and we came up with a plan to solve them. She also talked about what changes she was seeing in my hair due to postpartum and how to work with those changes. Wonderful Bobbi took care of me right away, with kindness and compassion she bleach washed my terrible dye job done from a previous salon the week before, added fresh highlights, conditioner, toner and made me look like my old self again. Friday i went to a salon in Manteca that a family member said was known to be good. I needed my over grown roots to match the rest of my blonde hair. I was so unhappy when i left Manteca because my roots turned Yellow! It was horrible. So I called up an old family friend that is super good with hair and color. I didn't initially contact her knowing how busy she gets. She recommended me to JESSICA MORALES at Ciao Bella and said she trusted her. I contacted Jessica and she got back to me that same day. I explained to her my problem and said she could schedule me the next day once i was off work. I went in Yesterday for my appointment and she is amazing. She fixed my problem and not only that but she is great at what she does. She was explaining to me what she was doing and why, that let me know she knows what she is doing & that i'm in good hands. She began to let me know how often to go in to get my roots done, what products i can use etc. She conditioned my hair and then styled it.
