For many years I came here for pedicures but then three nail salons opened within a mile of my home so I decided to try them out and not drive from WDM and pay for parking. But, I missed Rian, who is awesome but not easy to get an appointment with (because she is awesome)! But I snagged two appointments with her and enjoyed going there today on my birthday. Her leg massage is fantastic and I enjoy being able to look out the large windows that let light into the salon. Bonus was picking up some gifts for my Granddaughter from the tables they had set up. Recently my husband booked a mothers day facial for me and I loved the experience here. I got some delicious Prosecco to start my relaxing evening. I got a peel with Mariah I think was her name that day and I just loved the results after. She was so sweet and made me feel so serene. I was convinced I'd come back for a haircut which I did just that. Couple weeks I went in and got a haircut with Eva. Loved her down to earth personality. I was glad the stylist I had been scheduled with came in late because I got to meet Eva and found someone I feel comfortable coming back to. Before my haircut I got a scalp massage and it was very relaxing. She trimmed my short hair and framed my face a bit to add balance all through out my hair. Overall loved the experience as usual. I've been to this salon once before, I enjoyed it so I was going to become a returning customer. I called today and the lady on the phone was SO RUDE. (see screenshot) she was so snappy, from the beginning of the phone call she just gave the vibe she was short tempered. She asked me what i wanted done and when i said id like a women's hair cut, she raised her voice at me and so I hung up, i felt very uncomfortable from her condescending tone. They have no idea what they are doing. 1) brushing out curly hair while it's dry and brushing from the top down while pulling my hair down. 2) splitting my hair in sections that made zero sense with hair still in my face. 3) blow drying my hair with a paddle brush 4) blow drying while pulling my hair down 5) half my hair will pulled out bc they have no idea what they are doing and it ended up on the floor. 6) complete frizz and they tried to pass it off as a blow out. They are liars and they have no idea how to do a blow out on curly hair. They just want your money and tip. Find another spot. read more

What I ended up getting was an absolutely wonderful 3 hour experience. I was lucky enough to have a person cancel on Stephanie at the last minute and she was able to squeeze me in for a pedicure as well. Between the complimentary Prosecco, the hot neck towel, and the phenomenal conversation you're in for the best salon experience ever. I went in for a haircut with Jamie and was very impressed with her. I showed her some pictures of what I was looking for and discussed with her in depth what I wanted and didn't want. She listened to me and my concerns thoroughly. She gave me exactly what I wanted. I really appreciated her skill and professionalism. She's very good at what she does. If you need someone who can do a good technical haircut, she's your girl. She even curled my hair for me and showed me some tips on how to do it with a flat iron. I liked the scalp massage and the paraffin wax hand treatment. She offered to do a makeup touch up after my haircut but my parking meter ran out so I decided to skip it. She ran out and put a quarter in my meter for me while I was paying so I wouldn't get a ticket. Now that's service! read more

I am in town visiting my friend and her husband booked us a 45 minute signature facial and a pedicure. The facial was disappointing. It only lasted 29 minutes - I get that some places account for undressing and dressing but 16 minutes? I did a B2 hydration add on per the recommendation of the esthetician and it was just a sheet mask, which ending up costing $35 when the facial itself was $85. Despite the add on, I still got done at the same time as my friend. Also, no eye cream or anything for my lips? That's not good. The pedicure was slightly better. My foot bath was just hot water, no soap or salts or anything. My friend's next to me had something in it based on the bubbles in her water. My nail tech filed a couple of my nails crooked so I had to have her fix them but she did a great job with my cuticles. I get monthly facials and pedicures at home so I'm not new to this. I wouldn't come back here again. read more

Had two great experiences with Salon Spa W so would definitely recommend to others. When my sister was getting married she had another hair and makeup place change her person a few times and then finally cancel the order as they didn't have experience with people with darker skin. It was very disappointing and stressful so I called Salon Spa W VERY shortly before the wedding date to see if they could even fit in one person so we could get her bridal makeup. They were able to get her in and she got the airbrush. The staff was diverse, had experience with lots of skin types and tones, and color matched her skin perfectly. She was glowing and said it was a no amazing memory to start of her wedding day. After that, I asked how far out they booked so that I could get my makeup done there too! I had airbrush and my bridesmaid had regular bridal party makeup application. I had to call back a few times to change the count later in the year and also to change the time to later in the day. They handled it all well and had each item under the guests name, so if one wanted to get her hair done, they could see what time her makeup was to work around that too. My sister still remembered and recognized her makeup artist from a year ago, that's how much she loved her experience! They allowed me to request if I wanted everyone to be similar, if I wanted the same eyes, if they could just pick their own style, etc. When I showed up they had a sign and red carpet and water to welcome me and my party. I brought a few photos for inspiration and also had them adjust a little at the end which they were so nice about. My two bridesmaids and both mothers loved their makeup and experience- a few even found a new favorite lip color and bought the lipstick to keep! Everyone's makeup lasted all day. The only advice I would give is I did get hot during the day and a little shiny so keep some blotting sheets on you. The appointment payments must also have a card down to hold them so if people want to pay separately, make sure to separate them out beforehand as the charge goes through the day before. They email you a receipt and charge for tip so you don't have to worry about how much to tip and can just send that to your party too if you'd rather just do one card and venmo each other. I went in for a Keratin smoothing treatment and I had an amazing experience!! Very happy with the service and the outcome. After moving here from California, I had difficulty finding a good salon in the area that offers this type of hair treatments. A mom recommended this salon in a local mom group that I follow and I'm so glad that I gave it a try. My hair has been severely dried and damaged over the years bleaching and ironing my hair daily. The treatment definitely helped. My hair is now more soft and manageable. It takes me less time to style and get ready in the morning. This was my first time going to Salon Spa W. I needed an eyebrow wax like you wouldn't believe and a opted for a manicure as well. Zoe did my manicure and she was amazing. She was super friendly and personable. She helped me pick the perfect color. She even recommended the salt scrub which I did and I am so glad I did. My hands feel refreshed and look beautiful and better than before. Then I saw Mia for an eyebrow wax and she did a lovely job. She shaped them perfectly to my face and was gentle. From the moment you walk in, you are greeted by friendly ladies that check you in, offer you some wine or cucumber/lemon water. The salon itself is modern, immaculately clean and an incredibly relaxing environment. Personally, I go to salon Spa W for my Pedicures! I always see Rian, she is AMAZING. The pedicure area is made up of big comfortable couch like chairs with a beautiful bowl for the water below. Upon sitting down, Rian always asks me if I would like a warm or cold neck wrap which is a delightful touch. It helps me relax my shoulders while my feet are being pampered! The pedicure itself is blissful. Rian gets everything off my feet and takes her time to make sure my feet are baby soft when I leave. (For someone who wears birks every day, this is a mammoth feat!) They are polished to perfection and massaged until I am almost asleep. The sanitization is always TOP NOTCH as well. You get your own file and buffer and are always offered it when you leave, they sanitize the bowls after every use as well. I have always noticed the steps they take for sanitization and they do make a difference! If you want a fantastic salon service with unparalleled customer service, Salon Spa W is your place!
