After dropping materials on my face, she did not even bother to say goodbye or walk me out. I still tipped kindly but noticed that my eyebrows really hurt. When I went home, I had a large burn underneath my eyebrow. I immediately went back and asked to speak to a manager about the burn that was beginning to ooze under my eye. The lady at the front desk said she was the manager but did not know the protocol for if someone was burned besides to put a note in my client portal to not put me with Andrea again. She also said she would give me my money back however she technically could not give me a wax pass back so really there was no solution. At this point I asked what their burn protocol was and they said that they did not have one, and she tried putting a tester product that the general public uses on the open wound. I could not think of anything more unsafe for an open wound. I left asking the manager to contact me and she never did. Not only is this extremely unsafe, but I am beyond disappointed that a company does not have any protocol for burning someone's face/eyes. The lack of accountability is absolutely gross for this company and I understand why people are not continuing with European Wax Center. If it were me, I would go to the threading center two stores down.

I highly recommend finding a salon with better owner customer service, with all of the options out there, don't be swindled by Tracey and her long texts to your phone demanding she knows what she's talking about for a salon you're a regular at while trying to double your service needs. Horrible communication and customer service from the top down which is sad to see given the stylists there don't have anything to do with the way they are conducting their client communication and scheduling.

While I like to support the businesses from my neighborhood, I make an exception for Salon Sen - I drive 45 minutes to get my haircut from Alex. He is THE MASTER! I followed him around the city for years and am thrilled that he has his own salon now together with his amazing wife Julie - they are a great team. I have fine hair that likes to do its own thing - and not anything good, but Alex knows how to tame it, and I get lots of compliments. Getting the haircut along with the hand and skull treatment is wonderful too. The salon is bright, beautiful and calming and you can tell the staff likes to work here. Everyone is kind and caring and the vibe is relaxing. Indulge in the pampering and walk out with a beautiful style which is actually easy to care for because the staff works WITH your hair. I love not having to worry how to style it because it falls into place. Salon Sen's craft and service is first rate, go and check it out for yourself! read more

I've recently moved to the north side from the suburbs and was looking for a new stylist. A coworker of mine had recommended Salon Sen and I could not be happier! I've seen both Annalisa and Ronnie twice now, and these two girls are nothing short of awesome! Trusting someone new to lighten my hair is always a little nerve wrecking, but Annalisa took the time to talk through a consult, listened to what I was looking for and explained what she thought would look best. I loved the outcome! Ronnie listened to what I was looking for and did an amazing job! I couldn't be happier with the cuts I've received! I have been going to Julie at Salon Sen for a year now, and I am SO thankful that I found her/the Salon. She cuts my hair so it's fresh and I can move it around (I part my hair in various ways) and it looks so natural and "fits my face" :) And for the coloring, I stressed that I wanted it to be very natural looking. I hate it when hair is striped-looking! She colored my hair so it hides my gray hairs and also grows nicely without having a hard lid where the dye starts/stops etc. I am obsessed with my hair now, and I feel wonderful and beautiful (insert heart emojis here!) read more

I might've found my go-to salon! Ronnie is wonderful and just gave me the cutest haircut. I have very unruly thick/frizzy hair and she knew exactly what to do with it. (Seriously, if you've ever suffered from Triangle Hair -- as my fellow curly girls understand -- give her a call.)
