I recently had a baby and I've been beyond stressed out. I've lost a ton of hair and the hair I did have left was so long and easily knotted that one day I decided to cut over 4 inches off myself. I was close to pulling a Britney but luckily talked myself out of that....... So I called and got an appointment within 3 days for a simple hair cut and style. The girl at the front desk was friendly and offered to get me a drink as I waited for my hairdresser// I got Sam. She made sure I understood what she had to do to even out my botched job lol ...She was super sweet and approachable. I'd recommend her and would definitely see her again. My mom and twin sisters come to this salon often and always rave about it. My husband has gotten hair cuts with Levi and never had a complaint either. Give it a shot, doesn't feel like you're in Flowery Branch :) read more

During my appointment, I felt very uncomfortable in my stylist's presence. At the time of my appointment, she only carried on a topic with me if it was about her favorite explicit adult fiction series. I tried to tell her I am on a reading hiatus and to switch subjects to something more appropriate, but she would either ignore me or start a conversation with someone else instead while I was in her chair. She described graphic, explicit scenes from the books, and I felt incredibly disrespected. , The owner's response claims that I made their stylist uncomfortable. That is not accurate. My stylist was not professional in anyway and everything about her made me uncomfortable. Her attire was an inappropriate dark romance shirt about submitting herself to explicit acts. " I vow, you vow, we vow " from the House of Lords Dark Romance book series. In addition to this, the stylist's car, which is visible from the salon chair, is covered in inappropriate stickers related to these themes as well. Lastly, she moved my appointment 3 hours later than scheduled because she overbooked herself, which resulted in me being alone with her and another staff member after salon closing hours.... I was forced to listen to thirst trap metal with bands such as Sleep Token, which has very explicit lyrics. I am terribly upset that I have to rewrite my original review and defend myself because the salon resorted to personal attacks rather than taking accountability for their staff. False Statements about your customers is not a professional approach for a business in 2026. I came in for a professional pastel pink hair service, which I did not receive. Instead, I left with hot magenta hair and dye stains all over my scalp that the salon refused to fix. Deflecting from a lack of technical skill by professing untrue claims about a customer's conduct is unprofessional. I stand by my original review: the color was wrong, the application was messy, and the management's response is unacceptable. I felt forced to only talk about inappropriate topics with my stylist because that was the only way she would talk to me. I would encourage any reader to steer clear of this salon. read more

I have been going to this salon for 2+ years, and I have a pixie so I go about every month to keep it looking fresh. Sam is my stylist and she is SO kind and friendly and helpful, along with all of the apprentices she's trained since I've been coming in. Everyone is happy and cheerful and most know who I am the moment I walk in and always offer warm greetings. The prices vary depending on services and your stylists experience level, so don't be shy about asking BEFORE you get to the register if you are on a budget, we've been able to find alternative ways to get similar looks when I've made color changes over the years to make sure me and my wallet were happy at the end. read more

My first appt was today . I got full foils on my chin length hair with a toner after the foils removed. My hair was trimmed with a little layering in the back. I was there for THREE HOURS and my bill was $300!!! I asked for a breakdown of the charged serves and was even charged $18.95 for the products THEY used, and a service fee for using a credit card ( as if I even had that much money in my wallet)!! Never again. This was more than Atlanta prices and took nearly twice as long. read more

Ask for Emily Kate you will not be disappointed. She is a master stylist and absolutely excellent at her craft.

So I have been getting my hair trimmed at Salon Pure for the past couple years. Before today the last time was May 11th. On that day I paid my usual $27 (plus tip) for a trim which normally takes 12-15 minutes. Today when I left the chair and got to the register the price before adding any tip was $52!! I assumed that they had made a mistake but both the cashiers assured me the price for my trim was correctly posted as Fifty-two dollars. I know prices are going up on most everything BUT - nearly doubling the price in 2 months seems to be outrageous. The cut was good but I'll be looking for other options going forward as $52 for a basic trim for males is beyond reasonable from my view. read more

They overcharged my wife $300 for a few highlights! While the friend who recommend had just paid 160 for the same thing.

went to get my hair cut, asked for layers and more defined curtain bangs and all she did was trim my already existing bangs and gave me no layers. her name was KRISTIN!!! her assistant put in more work than she did then she had the courage to charge me $80 at the end. I was probably in the chair for less than 10 minutes!!! I didn't even know she was done when she was, she had to tell me she was finished. will never be returning. you can literally go anywhere else and get the same thing (or even better) for 10 times cheaper. read more

The atmosphere is everything at this salon! They make you feel super welcome and are very sweet and professional. I had Lauren do my hair and all I can say is WOW. My husband walked in to ask for an appointment time as we were driving by. No one was at the front desk. 3 stylists cutting clients. He stood there patiently waiting for someone to greet him. No one ever did. The stylists couldn't be bothered to even say hello. We are new to the area. We certainly won't be considering this salon. We saw the bad ratings but like to have our own experience and access ourselves what the service is like. Now we know. No thank you. read more

It feels like unless you're getting extensive/expensive color treatment or are besties with a stylist, they are uninterested in servicing you. Despite booking the most inclusive option for what was needed and tipping very generously, I was left feeling like my daughter and I were inconveniening the staff with questions about products being used (most of which were purchased at the recommendation) or even asking for stylist recommendations before having a solid vision of an end product. Hoped rebooking after tipping well and purchasing recommended product would prove more pleasant than our initial visit, but it actually seems worse. read more

Went in today to see nadine for hair color explained to her exactly what I wanted but she recommended other wise. Since she's under as master I trusted her and let her work her magic. More like nightmare. This has been my worst hair experience ever. Left my roots not blended and the rest of my hair looking orange. If you go here please don't ask for her you'll be saving yourself. This is what I asked for this is what I got. read more

My stylist is Lauren and she is the most talented and the hardest working hairstylist I've met. She is incredibly admirable and a joy to be around. She always makes me feel so confident walking out the salon doors; and can make my hair look amazing no matter what. The day she put my extensions in, I was in tears because I had finally felt confident in my hair for the first time. She changed the hair game for me and I am forever thankful. read more

Okay, the director called me. They will not refund but will consider giving me a credit if I come in and let her get her hands in my hair because it will tell her the true story of what happened. I think she fancies herself the "hair whisperer". At this point I'm not really interested in going back in there. Actually, I'm thinking of suing for punitive damages to my fragile self esteem because I look like a complete idiot. read more

Salon Pure - Notice the short chunk of hair - Hair Salons Near Me - Flowery Branch, Georgia

Do not go to this salon unless you have a lot of money for terrible service and bad products. The staff is unprofessional, unfriendly and act like everyone is beneath them. I did like my stylist. My cut, color and style was perfect. She was very kind and professional. She listened to what I wanted and executed it flawlessly. Other than her though, the atmosphere in the salon was very tense. The smiles were very fake (more like sneers). They all look miserable. No one talks to anyone, no one helps anyone, no eye contact... they look OVER you. The extensions look really rough, the Botox and fillers are on every face and somehow all of the faces are frozen bitchy. Why are they all so mean looking? I felt so uncomfortable, I do not want to return. I really don't understand the, 'we are better, prettier, richer, blonder, too good to even notice that you are alive' trend that seems to be what they train their people to act like??? I'm not sure. Really awful vibe. Would never recommend to anyone. I'd rather just have gray hair and split ends. read more

Today was my first visit to Salon Pure. My first impression of the salon is that it is very modern, bright and roomy. All of the folks I interacted with were very friendly, from the manager to the front desk gal to the esthetician. I even talked to a couple customers about processes they were having done and they were super friendly as well. Good begets good. When I walked in for my 10:00 appointment I was offered coffee, tea or water. Nice touch. They have couches and comfy chairs you can sit in as well as a big ole table with benches set up in the kitchen area. Nadine has been doing my hair for years. She recently relocated to Salon Pure from another Aveda salon. When I thought I may have to find a new stylist, I freaked-momentarily. No worries. Today I had my regular color touch up and my annual Keratin Smoothing Treatment. Both processes went well, as I expected. Nadine has always treated me exceptionally well and she is extremely talented at what she does. She takes great care to make sure her clients are happy, comfortable and satisfied with her work. If you are looking for a great Master Stylist at a super nice, chic, trendy salon, check out Nadine at Salon Pure. You'll be glad you did. read more

I took my daughter in for color and style. The color came out really nice but within a matter of days it had faded to almost nothing! My daughter only being 15 didn't say anything to me but I noticed it was faded like a whole lot. Finally after a week she say mom my colors like gone! Anyway she saved to have this color done and spent over 250.00!!! I called and spoke with Emily the manager of the salon. She was the rudest manager I've ever talked to. I'm a customer for over2yrs and I couldn't believe how rude she was to me. I wound up calling her a horrible manager and she hung up on me!!! What find of person hangs up on a customer! Kind you this is after they told me there's nothing they could do for me and I should of called them within a week if I had a problem! Well gee I'm sorry I didn't realize I only had a week to complain about something! I've never been treated so badly by someone who's supposed to be in management! Emily is rude and made me feel guilty for their horrible customer service!! Do not go to this salon they take your money and offer no help! Salon Pure has good hairstylists but horrible management and zero customer service I'd you have an issue they will not help or care!!! You'll spend a lot and they don't care! Horrible customer service I can't say that enough ! read more

I went there for a cut and color. The color - I could have done a better job matching my hair if I had gotten a box kit at Target. It's the most dull, too dark color I have ever had. It looks so dyed and terrible! The cut is boring and the stylist did not listen to me at all. I didn't have a good feeling when I started talking to her and I should have walked out because she was practically arguing with me about my hair. Save yourself some money and headache and go somewhere else! Look at some of the other reviews. Raina D's review - yep that's what happened to me, my hair is practically black. Though I won't bother calling to ask to get it fixed because I am sure their solution is more money and highlighting. No way am I letting them try to fix it when they messed it up to begin with. read more

My first time to visit the flowery branch salon.. My stylist Nadine was very eager to please. A lot of the focus was on product sales but unfortunately the products didn't work so well for me. I came out of the wash with more tangles then I have ever had in my hair, Nadine worked very hard to brush them out. The style was a slight trim and a blow dry which I felt the $70 charge was very over priced. read more

Ask for the professional to do your eye brows not the 19 year old little girl who talks too much!

I went to this place for years getting bounced around from one stylist to another due to them leaving or being fired. You can't hear what your stylist is saying due to the music being too loud. Also, I believe these stylists forget the focus is supposed to be on their customer NOT the person walking in the front door or who is gossiping at the front desk or watching others admire themselves in the mirror. I was very happy with my last stylist who left. I followed her to Salon 53 West in Oakwood. If you are looking for true professionals, call Madison or Amberly. You won't be disappointed!! read more

I took my daughter to Salon Pure at her request, to have her hair done for her 16th birthday. She researched salons and followed Lauren on Instagram and decided she wanted her to color her hair. I was skeptical based on past experiences with salons and my best friend had a bad experience at Salon Pure, but she assured me this was all she wanted for her birthday and that Lauren and her had emailed and she was happy to have her color her hair. We arrived and salon is very pretty, lady at front desk asked if we wanted a water. First impression was ok. Lauren's assistant comes to get her and after 2 hours my daughter comes out crying. Her hair looked absolute same color and only difference was it is about 3 inches shorter. Haircut was not even part of why we came....ONLY color. Somehow Lauren talked her into the cut, telling her it was needed and would look better. It did not. It looked terrible. My daughter is still upset and Lauren knew she was upset and offered nothing to help. What kind of salon has someone who knows a client is visibly upset and not happy and doesn't offer to fix it? I understand that you can't make everyone happy but Lauren charges more than the other stylists and did a horrible job. She should have offered to fix it and she did nothing. I will tell everyone I know not to go here. Poor customer service and not worth $200. I didn't want my money back, but I do expect what we paid for. We could have gotten a better hair cut at Great Clips and that's sad. Don't waste your money here and if you must go, definitely don't see Lauren. read more

I just moved to the Flowery Branch area from Atlanta and was concerned about finding a good salon in the area. This salon has an upscale feel without the upscale intimidation. The staff is so friendly and knowledgeable. From the first phone call with Tyler for an appointment to the excellent service by Abby and Erin, the customer service was awesome. I've been going to Pure for years and there is a reason I keep going back. They have the best stylists in the area and beyond. I used to drive to Midtown to get my hair done because I didn't think anyone in the Flowery Branch area would be as good. I finally tried them and found them better than my old stylist. I have used them for different services (updo, eyebrow wax, hair cut, highlights, bleach and tone and extensions) and have not been disappointed. The staff is extremely courteous and very knowledgable, I have never had a bad experience. I take both my children there to get their hair done as well. read more
