Wow just wow. Panda slayed my hair. Pictures don't even do it justice. So blended. Great quality products used. She was thorough, super sweet, and clearly talented. I got a full highlight after not having one in over a year if not a year and a half. Price was very reasonable for amount of work and quality. These pics are post wash and dry by myself as well! Will be back soon :) read more

I have had many haircuts from Lauren over the last 10-12 years and she always does a phenomenal job. Lob, long layered, balayage- she does it all. Highly recommend! read more

I found Lauren last year when my hair stylist went back to school. It can be hard to trust someone new with your hair, but she did a great job at listening to what I wanted, chiming in with her own expertise, and the results were amazing, both cut and color. I felt awesome :) Lauren easily draws people in and genuinely cares about them. She's flexible to work with and very professional and efficient. She asks good questions and it feels like the appointment goes by quickly. I got good advice on products and styling. I also enjoy connecting with other stylists in the salon, like Jocelyn, she is so friendly and great! Even though I moved out state after finding Lauren, I get my hair cut by her whenever I'm in town and have recommended her to several people. 10/10! read more

So appreciative of the staff at Salon on Savannah! I needed my hair colored and cut before an event, and they got me right in. Kim and Karen both helped me achieve exactly what I was looking for. I love the attention to detail Karen pays to every client. Also very happy with Gabby, she was so quick and friendly styling my eyebrows . A great place to go to get everything you need done, and done well. read more

I recently found Lauren Sampere, and am very happy that I did. She listens to what you want, and is knowledgable. I brought a picture and she was able to make me a cut that fit my face and look great. Also, I found that when it grew out, it still looked like a great cut! So win win. Going back for sure! (already have) read more

Lauren is an absolute TREASURE. I've been going to her for at least seven years, and she keeps me looking good year-round. I usually need help deciding what cuts or colors would look good on my face shape or skin tone, and I constantly relied on Lauren's expertise. She tells you what she thinks would look good, and then she does just that. Lauren is also an utter delight to talk to, so you leave looking and *feeling* good. If you are looking for color, Lauren is the master. She'd give my hair the most beautiful rich reds tinted with hints of violet that sparkled in the sun. My hair is the first thing a lot of people notice about me. I always get compliments on it from friends, coworkers, and even strangers! read more

I was looking for a salon in the Sodel area because I'n fed up with traveling back to Maryland to get my hair done! I looked around and found Salon in Savannah, and got an appointment with Lauren after having a great convo over the phone. I have long length, blonde hair that i've been getting colored for ~6 years. I came in with an inspo picture, and told her I wanted a much brighter California blonde (My current hair felt dull). Lauren KILLEDDD ITTT! She was so confident it made me confident in how it was going to go. I texted my husband in the first 15 minutes "this is going to be awesome! so excited!" because I just knew (plus, Lauren was saying so!) I was there for ~3 hours which is honestly so reasonable! We talked the whole time - which was amazing because I love her - and my hair looks exactly like what I've been aiming for, for years. Perfectly yellow blonde, while still allowing my roots to grow out naturally. She's exactly what I was looking for and I love that she's someone I can go to close to home. Couldn't recommend her more! Will be going back to her next time. read more

Lauren is the best there is at what she does, and a great person to be around in general. Every time I've walked in to her salon, I've walked out looking and feeling better. You'll have a good time and a better haircut, get in there. read more

CAUTION! Lauren is overpriced, overbooked, discourteous and distracted! I was charged $235 for a partial foil and haircut. After a very brief dry cut (snip here and there; explaining she will do the real haircut later) and after all foils were in, she then tells me that she probably will not have time to blow dry my hair today. She left to take her dog out. I thought I should say something because I was really looking forward to leaving styled and all "done-up"! When she returns, I asked if she could just skip the haircut so I can be styled. She became annoyed with my request and said that "this will be my last appointment with her because it causes her too much stress." This was said in front of everyone in the salon. I wanted to shrink into the chair! After my shampoo, Lauren says she has time to blow dry me after all! However, she had to ask a coworker to help her to blow dry my hair. I did not feel Lauren's price matched the treatment that I received. Extremely poor customer service and common courteous in general. Do not expect a relaxing afternoon at the salon with Lauren. It was a horrible experience. I feel sorry for her assistant. While I was there, Lauren gave orders to her assistant almost continuously leaving me to feel like "her head wasn't in the game" so to speak. She gave most of her attention to delegating duties to her assistant than she did to her task at hand; which was my $235 salon experience!! PROCEED WITH CAUTION! read more

I have to say I am very picky with my hairstylists but after meeting Lauren it was by far one of the best decisions I had made. I can show her a picture of what I am looking for and she will go above and beyond to get my hair to the vision I am looking for. She walks me through what she's going to do and asks me what I want and I always walk away from the chair feeling gorgeous and loving my hair. Not only a great stylist but someone you can trust with your hair. read more

Lauren is amazing, I've recommended her to all my blonde friends. She does a really good job with extensions and getting me as blonde as I can get while still helping me to heal the heat damage and bleach damage that previous stylist have done, and I have done. Lauren is the only stylist I'll let touch my hair. I went with her recommendations for a good looking cut to match my head shape and I never realized I could look so good. She suggested coloring my hair to hide the grays and I walked out looking 10 years younger. Lauren is professional and a wonderful person that I highly recommend. I wouldn't go anywhere else. read more

I've been going to Lauren for over 5 years and she works magic with my fine hair. She knows how to cut, style, and color to maximize fullness and minimize damage. She has done foiliage, root touchup and also done keratin and Brazilian blowout on me and it's turned out great every time. She is honest and tells you what is realistic for your hair type and color. She makes suggestions but isn't pushy about recommendations. I love how she is always stays on top of latest trends and attends classes to learn about new products and techniques. Lauren is a great hair stylist. She does an incredible job with color and highlights, and her cuts are always perfect. She's very good at helping clients choose hairstyles that are becoming. Lauren recently moved out of the area and I miss her as my stylist, but I look forward to seeing her at Salon on Savannah when I visit the East Coast. read more

I'd like to start off by saying that hands down the best cut and color I've ever received. That being said, my stylist needs an attitude check. You are not doing the customer a favor by styling their hair, rather they(customer) are supporting your business. I started at this salon in January and leave w beautiful hair, but always a bit disheartened. Very little communication w me, rather customers in other chairs, staff etc. That's fine, we don't have to be besties but being courteous and personable should be a given. My appointments were either cancelled a couple of days before, asked to come at different time, or another day. The rudeness set me over edge today as I decided to walk out and never return. When your client arrives and you can't be bothered to greet or at least ACKNOWLEDGE their existence, play on your phone as they wait, and take another client at your appointment time, still not acknowledging my existence, or even saying hey I'm running late, be with shortly... you made me feel like a worthless nothing today and some advice: quit using a last minute wedding( Memorial Day) or a forgotten drs appt days before appointment to cancel on your clients. Just be honest with them. Humiliating experience and extremely unprofessional and have never felt so disrespected read more

I had the same stylist for 20 years in PA and it is unimaginably hard to find a new stylist when you move to a new state. Karen is always on time, friendly and a perfectionist when it comes to all things hair! I have been a client for about a year now and am happy to call Salon on Savannah my hair care home! read more

This was my first time in the salon and upon arriving on time for my appt. I was never greeted. I took a seat and sat there waiting for 15 minutes still without any acknowledgment. It also looked the stylist I was waiting on was far from being completed with the previous appt. Don't jam pack your schedule to help your own purse strings without being able to actually manage a schedule. There are lots of other places to go and now I'm left to go find one of them. read more
