The last time I sat down 2 weeks before my wedding and said a trim with medium layers and I think this is quite possibly the best haircut I've had in my entire life. I sent my husband to him for his pre-wedding haircut and now he's hooked. The staff are sweet, great music playing, and people are having a great time. The only down side I see is that their hair washing stations are built for people considerably shorter than me so it does hurt my neck a little, but... tall people problems I guess lol.

She was very friendly and personable. I showed her 5 different pictures of the cut I wanted, (different angles) etc. but of the same style which I have had for years. While I will say she was incredibly nice and listened to me, the haircut was horrible. She knew I was not happy with it and offered to cut into it more, but the problem is she took off WAY too much to begin with. She was also working on a color job on another woman, and she may be a good colorist, (I don't know) but I would not recommend her for cuts. At least not for short cuts. I went to my stylist a day later to see if there was anything he could do and he said no, it was cut way too short and uneven but if I waited 9 or 10 weeks for it to grow out he would fix it. The shop was really nice, and I'm sure she is good in other areas but I couldn't in good conscience ever recommend a haircut there. And of course I paid because while I don't think she did a good job, she did do a job. So it is a hard pill to swallow knowing that you paid for something that you HATE.

She did my hair and ombré or balayage. Not sure which one since they look similar. She was really patient and good with her craft. She even helped me put my baby to sleep which was really nice of her. My hair came out good but it took too long cause of the amount of hair I have and everyone was tired already. She told me to come back to tone out more of the brassy parts of my hair. So I'm coming back in two days to get my hair a little bit more lighter. I can't wait!

My stylist, Denise, is a *genius* when it comes to color and an eyebrow-waxing perfectionist, and she knows exactly how to cut my curly hair (growing up, no stylist at any other salon could get it right). Michelle, the co-owner (with Denise), is incredible with a pair of sheers -- family friends who are, themselves, hair stylists go to her for their own hair. Not one of them has ever been disappointed. John, Jennifer, and their part-time stylists are all incredible, both in terms of what they do (John does a mean up 'do!) and as conversationalists. The salon is always clean and there is always music playing. The prices are more than fair, for both services and products. I honestly can't imagine going anywhere else. Now that I'm no longer living in Winthrop, it's a little more of a hassle to drive there, but it's 100% worth it. No matter where I go, I will always come back to Andiamos, where I know I'm getting my money's worth. (And someday, when I'm a gazillionaire, I'm kidnapping Denise and paying her an obscene amount of money to be my personal hair stylist!)

When she relocated to South Boston and co- opened this salon, I followed her. The salon is bright, cozy, and clean. The environment is so welcoming. The staff is friendly. Everytime I come in, coffee and water always offered. Kasey is so sweet and always checks on me to make sure I am comfortable while I am there. Easy online scheduling system. Kasey is responsive on IG and you can schedule appointments with her that way as well. I love how her IG and the salon's IG page let's you know of open availability. They accept Venmo for tips, which is great cause I don't carry cash (does anyone anymore?). I want to speak to Kasey's work. You can tell she cares about her craftsmanship. Hairstylists are artist and Kasey is that. I always come in with pictures to give her an idea of what I want and she is realistic about whether it can be done in that session or if it would require another. Nonetheless, she always deliver and I am always happy with the results! Also, I've noticed that since I have been coming to Kasey, even with the hair dyes, my hair has never looked or felt healthier! With the other salons, my hair would get dried and damaged. I am telling you, as $$ as it is, you are paying for quality work. That immediately felt odd since it was my first time there and the stylist hadn't seen my hair dry. Every salon I've been to does a quick consult first to see your hair type and talk through the plan. Towards the end of being rinsed, the stylist switched in without introducing herself or even saying hello. Her first words to me were, "What kind of cut are you looking for today?" Even after leaving the wash station, there was still no introduction or real questions about my hair. She was not working with another guest at the time so I'm not sure why she couldn't introduce herself and do a consult beforehand. I was there to cut about five inches off and felt really uncomfortable trusting someone who hadn't seen my hair dry or taken a moment to understand it. I don't need a chatty appointment, but I do expect a stylist to make a new client feel welcomed and assess their hair. She barely spoke the entire time, which made the appointment feel awkward and honestly pretty uncomfortable. Thankfully, the haircut turned out fine, but this was one of the most uncomfortable salon experiences I've had. And Eastie is known for amazing hair designers. So she snipped and she razored and the outcome is honestly the best haircut I've ever had! I am delighted!
