She spent time getting in spots and taking out knots. She started off with some neck work, then spent time all over, then finishing with my back. She didn't talk unless it was asking me to move. I was completely relaxed and would recommend her services. It was the best massage I ever had. While I was doing my massage my boyfriend tagged along for a mens pedicure I convinced him to book . He said it was the best foot treatment of his life. The woman doing it, Penny, really took her time and his feet looked like new when I saw them later in the day. He is not one to go for pedicures often but said he felt so comfortable he would go back frequently. The downstairs has a nice manicure and pedicure area. Jen knows exactly what you want even if you have a hard time articulating (which I am totally guilty of when it comes to hair). I am in love with my most recent cut, but when I was ready for a change, Jen knew how to do exactly what I wanted. Jen is friendly and very professional; she's honest with you about your hair which I think is the most important thing a hair stylist can do. For instance, I have A LOT of hair, and it's really thick. Jen was honest with me about a certain hair style and how it would have to stay short to keep it. We decided that she would cut the bulk out, but at the same time allow me to grow and keep some length. I know a lot of stylists that have refused to cut my hair this way in the past, but I've never been happier about the cuts she has been giving me. Her new shop is in a perfect location; right off of 60, but close to Medford Center and right near the Fellsway. There is plenty of street parking and you can use your credit/debit card to pay instead of rummaging through your wallet for change. The facilities are stylish and although it's doesn't look like much on the outside, the salon itself is totally modern and the quality of services will make you feel like you're downtown on Newbury Street without the pain of getting stuck in that terrible traffic. Time is a precious to everyone, so just make sure to keep your appointment, or let her know in advanced if you need to cancel or reschedule. Jen does have a cancellation policy that she emails to anyone who books an appointment with her. "Canceling or any rescheduling of your appointment with less than 24 hour notice will result in a 50% charge of the reserved service amount. No shows will be charged 100% of the reserved service amount." I rave about Jen's work so much that my boyfriend has finally stopped booking with Super Cuts and wants to book an appointment with her.
