While we waited to be taken back for our facials, we were offered coffee or tea. They have a special tea blend specifically for Aveda and it was so good! I ended up purchasing some before I left. Lol Luna did my facial and Summer did my friend's facial. We each got the 30 min facial. I think that's the perfect amount of time for a facial. They use Aveda products and everything smells so delicious. After my service, my skin was glowing. (And still is days later). So the reason why I gave 4 stars: 1) I felt the service was a bit on the pricey side for a 30 min facial. It was $80. That price won't deter me from getting another facial from here... but definitely not as often as I would if the price was a bit lower. The other reason I gave it 4 stars was that the receptionist ringing us out overcharged my friend. When my friend was trying to ask about it and explain why she thought she was overcharged, you could tell the receptionist was very confused and in the end it was just easier to let it go. Overall, this spa was great. Like I said, I will definitely come back, just not as often.

To make matters worse when I got home from my haircut I noticed there was a major hair dye stain on the back of my shirt. I had gone straight to the salon after work and now a pretty expensive work shirt is ruined. The owner refunded my haircut and gave me tips to get the dye out of the shirt but didn't offer anything else to comp the ruined shirt.

When I moved to the lovely city of Willoughby Hills, I received a welcome packet in the mail which included a grand supply of coupons for local merchants (score!) One happened to be a $25 gift certificate to V'Sonno Salon and Spa. In desperate need of pedicure, I decided to give it a whirl. The salon is in a very convenient location, right on SOM Center Rd. south of I-90. There are literally 10 different salons in that area, so kudos to V'Sonno for doing something to set itself apart from the competition. The salon was clean, the staff was friendly, and as a new customer I received another packet of coupons! Obviously, this moved them way up on my list. The pedicure was relaxing and the polish lasted for close to a month, which was great. I decided to go back and use one of my new coupons for a second pedicure -- same great service and quality. The only thing keeping V'Sonno from four stars is that they won't let you overcharge your credit card to add a tip, which left me in a very awkward situation as I never carry cash and didn't want to stiff the nail tech. So I had to run home, get some money and come back in order to avoid looking like a cheapskate. If you're on the East side, check out V'Sonno for all your nail needs. Just don't forget to bring some cash money for the tip.

I went with my girlfriend first thing on a Saturday morning. It's a busy location because they're good! They don't take reservations, so go early! I opted for the most expensive pedicure package with all of the bells and whistles. My pedicure package included hot stones, hot towel wraps, about 4 different massages, lotions, etc. It was super relaxing and the technicians were friendly. Everything was clean and sterile. They used all new tools and foot tub liners for the pedicures. I opted for a gel pedicure with a cool purple and black metallic streak that is obtained from using a magnetic wand. (Chrome nails?)
