Dee's beauty runs on assembly line precision. That's how they're able to handle lineups of women of all ethnicities backgrounds and levels of hirsuteness. This is not a chichi beauty salon. This is a place where you walk in, take a number and wait until you are called. Once you are called, you are directed to an attendant who will then ask what you need done. Eyebrows are by far the most popular service here but they have a whole slew of waxing and threading services including full leg, full Brazilian, full arms even your bellybutton if you need it. Get all your stuff done and then the girl who's done the waxing or threading on you will hand you a receipt which you then take to the front cash and pay and you're out the door as hairless as Barbie. The prices here are unbeatable most beauty salons charge at least $50 to $60 bucks for a full-leg waxing. Here, they charge you $20 flat. Other beauty salons charge you at least $45 for full Brazilian. Here they charge you $20 flat. Eye brow threading is about five dollars. One of the things that used to drive me crazy was how expensive beauty services in Canada are and how dirt cheap it is in other parts of the world like Turkey or India. There, they understand good grooming is important and non-negotiable and essential so that's why it's affordable to everybody. Im giving one star because it was fast. But other than that i'll NEVER return to this place. The lady who was threading my eyebrows was just rude and i have low pain tolerance i litteraly was crying and asked her to stop for 3 seconds she told me to hold my face tighter. She finished one didnt even allowed me to see and guess what she made my eyebrow so thin and when i confronted her about it she swore she cleaned them well. Iam so mad. The woman who threaded my eyebrows, I think her name was Veena/Reena, did an AMAZING JOB!! My eyebrows are naturally very thick and all this time my mom's been plucking them, but they weren't too nice because there was bad overly plucked spots. However when I came here the lady threaded them in like 5 minutes and they came out gorgeous and thinner. It totally transformed my look and all for $6! I left a tip for the woman who did my brows. I'll come here again but one thing I didn't love was how hectic it is in the salon (Wednesday at 6:30). Lots of girls were confused including me because we'd get a ticket and sit down but then the receptionist would tell us to move elsewhere or stand to the side after a while. It just felt hectic. This is a great place to go for eyebrows. Little wait time. Friday and the weekend are the busiest time. Its better to come early in the morning . there is no line Brazialian wax is a good deal. I would recommend for new people to just got for the bikini. Eyebrows threading is pretty decent. At least once a month. You need to come to maintain your eyebrows. You can get the complète Wax job for 100$ . For some people its a good deal, I prefer a more natural look. I always hope and pray that I'll somehow walk in there and be immediately seen. Unfortunately that's never the case but I do take solace in that the line moves fast. I was introduced to Dee's 4 years ago and haven't gone anywhere else for my eyebrows since. It's not because it's $4 (used to be $3) but they genuinely do the best work in Montreal. They often try to upswell and blatantly ask people if they'd like their moustache or beard removed... Which makes it quite uncomfortable for everyone within an earshot and for the client for that matter but all and all I think this is one of Montreal's gems. read more

Hello All, As per all the reviews read, my expectations was high when i went to this parlour. But in sub conscious mind I was scared as : 1. I am new to Canada so was trying this parlor for the first time 2. My eyebrows were really full grown up 3. I am very PARTICULAR about the SHAPE of my eye-brows ( I think eyebrow defines your look but for me it defines my mood) And I was very happy with the way my eyebrows turned up (good in shape + thickness I want) Forgot to ask the name of the lady who has done my threading, I just had explained her, once, the way I want my eyebrows and in 5 mins she managed to impress me very well. Plucking hairs off of your body inevitably hurts, but at Dee's you know at least that they're gonna do it quick and effectively. Their prices make it hurt a little less too. I'm very satisfied and will definitely come back. read more

The worst place for waxing, the lady who do the wax is the rudest person with no manner and no behavior. The way she treats you is like they are doing everything for free. The worst waxing. All the hair are taken half. Extremely painful experience. Will never ever go back to this salon. The aged tall lady that I don't know her name is good she is very nice but the other lady is extremely rude. She doesn't even answer if you ask a question. I've been to the new location in Laval. First impression of the place screamed industrial warehouse with numbered rooms and a creepy dentist type chair placed in the middle of the room. In no way did this place offer comfort as what a beauty parlor should be. I did like the pricing, $20 for a Brazilian? It's a steal compared to the usual $50 I pay back in Vancouver. Anyway I was a little surprised they didn't inspect to see if I needed any ingrown hairs to be tended to. Overall score is 2/5. Will not come back. read more

Easy to access location, very reasonably pricing, however the customer service isn't top notch. It's like a conveyer belt in there, it works, but it's incredibly impersonal, but considering for how short of a time you're there, its okay. Went for my first weg lax ever, I was in and out within 15 minutes, super short wait. Had some wax left on me but the internet tells me that thats reasonably normal. People need to chill! Dees is the best place to get your eyebrows (and at times leg/bikini waxing) done! Yeah it is a bit intimidating to go your first time (took me about a month to actually go) and the staff isn't bubblegum sweet, but you get what you pay for! And for 4$ you still get excellent results. I always go to the Laval location to get my eyebrows done. Sure if you want to get a nice glass of cucumber water or whatever while sitting on modern white couches while listening to zen sounds of a waterfall and birds chirping by all means go downtown and pay triple the price, but in the end you get the same results. In my experience, Dee's does just as good a job with eyebrows as the higher end places for a fraction of the cost. If you want a fancy spa-like experience, this is probably not the place for you. If you just want your eyebrows shaped well by professional and courteous staff without breaking the bank, this is your place. There can be a bit of a lineup on weekends, but don't be put off if it seems that way when you show up because it'll move quickly. read more
