This particular location (as well as all their other locations) is always so nice and clean and very well-organized. Their sales people are pleasant and helpful. When they have their products on sale, they are very good bargains. I usually stock them up and buy a whole bunch. Tend to go more with the fruit and lighter scent. The seasonal ones do get a bit too strong and give me a headache sometimes. I mainly buy their lotion and hand soap by the dozen at sale price.

We changed it up and visited Renee the owner of Ocean Blown Salon. Renee was the absolute best with him. Photos speak for themselves! Check out that smile! Little did I know my son would love the pampered life. Renee completely put him at ease. He sat through the whole process without a single tear or complaint. She knew that he was very sensitive about hair getting on him. Not one single hair landed on his face! I would normally have to change his shirt right away after a haircut but she was so good, my son told me "no I don't want to change my shirt". They were just about to close, and honestly, most places at that hour would politely ask you to come back the next day. But not here. I desperately needed help choosing the right foundation shade, and the tall lady working there (I wish I remembered her name!) was incredibly humble, kind, and generous with her time. Instead of rushing to clean up or shutting me down, she actually paused what she was doing, came over with a smile, and helped me so patiently. She pulled out multiple testers, matched my shade perfectly, and made sure I walked out satisfied -- even though it was closing time. That is true customer service. Being in the beauty industry myself for many years, I know how important it is to prioritize clients... and she truly embodied professionalism, warmth, and genuine care. My issue comes from being charged a cancellation fee in the midst of a medical emergency when I requested to reschedule as I was in the ER. I would understand being charged a cancellation fee if it was for a superfluous reason, but this was entirely out of my control. When I brought up how ridiculous it was to charge me for an unforeseen emergency when I was not canceling simply attempting to reschedule, I was told to not make appointments and just call for walk in appointments or daily schedules since my "schedule wasn't firm" from their perspective. As unfortunate as it is that I can't see Christa anymore, it is because of the salon management and not anything she did.
