After calling and leaving a message, she was quick to return my call. It was like others had said. She was easy to talk to and it was if we had known one another forever. I scheduled with April and arrived for my appointment, with no issues. She treated me for about 45mins and was most pleasant the whole time. Again, her bedside manner is spectacular. She made mention that she had elderly family members and that she may have to abruptly cancel, should something come up with them. I get that. Life happens. I scheduled using the app for my follow up appointment for a Saturday. The day before said appointment, Ms. April called and left me a message that she was going to have to reschedule because it was her birthday, and her kids were taking her on a surprise getaway...Again, I get that (although professionalisms would have called for the kids to check the schedule...first blatant red flag). However, what I didn't and don't get is how one could just blow a client off. Rescheduled my appointment, again through the app for that Monday. I text her and sat in the parking lot for 20 minutes. After texting again and calling with no response, I got out the car and approached to knock on the door. The lights were on, and I could see that someone was in the office space. I went back to call again. Still, no response. It has been a week and a half. I still have not heard back from Ms. April. If she thought my case too difficult or just didn't want to pick up new clients, I surely wish she would have simply said so. It would have saved us both a lot of time. Luckily, I was so distraught after letting all my hairs grow out in preparation for my treatment (only to be stood up) that I ended up calling back the Electroliysis in Cary. She has given me a straight forward plan of attack for my treatment plan, unlike Ms. April who told me to "pick a side" that I wanted to work on when I came back. Maybe I dodged a bullet? Just be leery! She is definitely a kind person, but less than reliable.

I wanted to book a couples massage and called over the phone to set it up. I had already looked at their prices online. I had never been to this company before and was able to utilize their introductory cost... or so I thought. When I scheduled it over the phone and a cost was told to me it was with the introductory version of a couples massage coming to around $240 including a 20% tip. Massage day comes and it was great, go to check out and a new price is dropped on me of $330 including tip. I questioned the price and explained I was told differently over the phone and mentioned the introductory price and was told that doesn't apply to a couples massage. I'm not one to argue so I didn't put up a fight as I had no written proof just a phone call conversation. They really need to make sure their front desk people are all on the same page and not telling false information to customers. At the end of the day it's not about the money for me but the fact that I was lied to. With all of that being said do not waste your money on a couples massage with this company. There's nothing special to it or anything just go ahead and book a single massage at the same time and you'll get the exact same experience. With regular single massage pricing you pay $40 extra just to sit in the same room as the person you came with. My final recommendation for a "couples massage" experience is to book 2 single massages with the introductory price. Your total with a 20% tip would be $220 vs paying $330 just to sit in the same room.

All three of us had birthdays in August, so it was the perfect opportunity to have a treat as well. Manicures and pedicures are not typically my thing, so I didn't readily have someplace in mind. I did a Google and Yelp search to find a place that had good reviews. I came across Posh Nails off of US Highway 17 in Garner and decided to go there and see if they allow walk-ins. Luckily, when I arrived they had availability and did allow walk-ins so the three of us were seated right away for our pedicures. It's a nice set up at this facility. They also have free beverages available while you're being serviced. Christina was my nail technician. She did a great job with my pedicure and my manicure. My parents pedicure and manicure also went well. There were two things that I observed during my visit that threw me for a loop. (1) I was unaware of an additional service charge separate from the cost for the manicure and the pedicure. My first thought was that the beverages aren't really free, and there's a secret charge for the beverages but when I inquired about what it was for, I was told it's because I had two different services done. That struck me as very odd. Some nail salons actually give you a discount if you're having a combination manicure and pedicure service. This was the very first time that I heard of a service charge because I had two services done instead of one. I was eager to see the bill so that I could see exactly how it was listed, but conveniently enough, I did not receive an itemized bill just a credit card receipt. (2) My technician set up a small fan so that I could have my nails dried before I left the facility; however, my mother's technician tried to have my mom leave right after he finished painting her nails without drying them first. It took my father's technician to point out to my mother's technician that he needed to dry my mom's nails first because they were still wet. I was quite surprised that my mother's technician thought it would be OK to not dry her nails before letting her leave the facility. Overall, our visit went well, but because of those two instances I mentioned above, I have reduced my score from 4 to 3.

I have been to…read moreseveral different spas, and this place is at the bottom of my list for customer service. While waiting for my appointment, a massage therapist walked out into the lobby, with her mask down, eating a snack and playing on her phone. I know people are at work and need breaks; I just did not think this was professional in the front lobby of the spa. My appointment was at 5:15pm. No one said anything to me about my massage therapist running behind. When I asked if she was late or what was going on, the receptionist's response was "Well, I have only been here half a day, so I don't know." ...... (????) When she returned, she did not apologize or provide an update; she simply sat back down at the front desk. My therapist came out shortly after to greet me and walk me back. There was no apology from her for running late and she did not introduce herself at all. She simply asked if there was any area she needed to focus on and left the room for me to undress. However, all of this being said, the massage was great and definitely worth it. I did ask my therapist what her name was when leaving, and the receptionist was very sweet and helpful while checking out. I just wish there would have been better service from the front end, so I would have been less annoyed going into my massage.

Very poor value.
