If they don't show within 10 minutes, then absolutely give that spot to a walk-in. I've come in with an appointment before and been told they were 'slammed.' What is the point of making an appointment if it isn't taken into consideration until you actually arrive? One day I had a 5:30 appointment and didn't get a chair for over 30 minutes because they had overbooked appointments and continued taking walk-ins. I've been coming here since they opened, and unfortunately, the scheduling process has become chaotic. I like this salon, but appointments should actually mean something.

He just did what he wanted (which is not coffin shape) lol. I wasn't going to argue in their business over $5, but these nail techs need to learn modern day nail shapes. A simple google search would show you what different nail shapes there are. A coffin shape tapers to not as wide at the ends. He did not do coffin shape. See the picture. Side note: the place I go to at home in jersey includes cuticle clean up, lotion massage and hot towel with the acrylic fill for $45. In Monroe I'd expect to pay less for the lower quality/skill set to begin with, but I guess they also have less knowledge on shapes too.

I drove from Saline MI, Columbus OH, so driving from Southfield isn't as far. Finding someone that understands that you just want a trim doesn't mean take inches off the back is harder than you think. Leslie knows how I like my hair and makes it happen. My hair is a little weirder than normal since I am half Cherokee. Leslie understands it. Her prices is more than fair, but she has always been busy with regulars, but now only able to work 3 days a week because of social distancing needed to keep everyone safe. She takes caring customer service seriously. Mask, cleaning station completely between customers. I was allowed to stay put while waiting for the color to set. Hair wash bowls usage is also spaced. While the salon has disposable masks for you to use if you don't have one or like me getting a color so it won't get on my own, I saw another customer no wearing a mask while being worked on by another stylist who even took his off. Lets hope the other stylists will get their act together since they can spread the coronavirus working so close. I took a star off for that. It is a community health issue not any thing else. Already got my next appointment booked. Will be back for Leslie to do her magic. EBS always loved how my hair looked since I always get it blow dried and that makes it even longer.
