Made an appointment at 1 pm it was busy Saturday. Next time don't go on a weekend plus it was Mother's day if few days. I have an apt for pedi and mani. A lot walking in and I waiting 30 min before they fitted me. All seat have plastic or divider and mask. It's crazy even tho they are fallowing some of the guidelines this place is too crowded for the distance. Their were 2 ladies brought their kids and of course kids can't wear a mask so it beat the purpose of protecting them. My pedi was good but the seat Jacked up it was so uncomfortable. Called at 10am (which is their listed open time) and scheduled an appointment for noon same day for a gel French mani and French pedi. I arrived at noon to find every pedi chair occupied and every nail station also occupied and 4 people in the waiting line. After 25 minutes of waiting I asked how much longer and the First Lady said "I don't know" and walked away. The lady at the station next to the front desk asked me what I was getting (again) and said 10-15 more minutes. Another lady who was just a walk-in with her two daughters and friend said they'd come back another time and the same lady told her 10 more minutes... The place at Southland mall is waaaayyyy better than this place. Their customer service is better, their actual service is better, and their space is much nicer looking and feeling. Doesn't make sense to wait for mediocre nails and terrible customer service. read more

Be prepared to spend 1.5-2 hours here if you're getting a pedicure. I am having a hard time deciding if this is really a 3 star or 4 star establishment. Yesterday I stopped in right before 1p or maybe slightly after. I did not leave the building until 3p. I waited about 30/45 minutes to be sat in the chair, and the pedicure itself took about an hour. This time, I was only charged $30 for my pedicure, even with french. It seems like the customers they have are pretty dedicated- seeing as everytime you come in you're pretty much expected to wait. Next time, I'm going to try to come in around 1:45-2p, as that was when they were no longer on a wait. read more

Wednesday afternoon my friend and I came in to the salon to get our nails done. Mine came out great but hers were awful. The dude with the tattoos cut up her fingers and had them bleeding, and wouldn't give her the color she wanted. There was nail polish and acrylic falling off of her finger. We called and asked to get it fixed and they said to come in at noon on saturday, we did. We sat in the salon for 45 minutes before leaving. I wanted a manicure and like that I could walk in without an appointment. I could give a higher rating based on how well my nails look, however, my review is only 2 stars because of how rudely I was treated. I was basically yelled at to straighten my chair before she would begin my mani and when I accidentally bumped a nail at the end and asked if she would touch it up, after a huge annoyed sigh and nail fix, I was told very rudely "don't do that again". I still gave a tip based on that my nails look nice, but most likely will not go back. It's worth paying a little more to be talked to nicely. read more

Booked an appointment for 3 a 11:30am. Took over a half hour to even sit one of us in an open chair. All three of us wanted a pedicure and dip nails. I will say the pedicure massage was the best one around but it wasn't worth everything else we went through. After pedicures, we all were staggered when getting manicures. All three of us agreed that the nail tech working on our nails were SUPER rough and brutal to our nails. We all finished with multiple cuts on our fingers and my mom even had blood running down her hand from where the tech had cut her. Even with an appointment, we spent over 3.5 hours there AND on top of all of this, we spent $200 for it all. A few days later and now two of us are complaining about the cuts even more. I have now had one of the fingers with a cut swell and get infected. I would NEVER recommend this place and will NOT be back. read more

I wash there was a negative star to give. My usual nail place was closed and I had an event to attend so, a pedi couldn't wait. I arrived and they were very busy. I patiently waited about an hour and a half before even getting into a pedi chair. Once it was my turn, one of the salon workers rolled their chair over to me and immediately walked away. I could see her speaking with another salon employee and pointing in my direction so, I knew the conversation was about me (so did all 35 ish people in the salon). After about 10min, the other salon employee rolled her chair up to me, puts double gloves on, and explains in loose English that she is only going to take the color off my toe nails and put new color back on. I realize, after she points to my knee and ankle several times, that she is talking about my psoriasis. (Psoriasis is not contagious, it's an inherited skin disorder that basically looks like dry skin. Mine is a very mild case and if I put lotion on, hardly visible). I was extremely embarrassed and to just have her stop pointing and speaking loudly (the entire salon was looking now) I just said "that's fine". She barely touched my feet and did cut my nails and change the color but that was it. I truly felt very discriminated against and it was horrifically embarrassing. I have never had this issue before in my life at any nail salon. I got charged $20 (full price was $25.. I just wanted to get out of there so badly). I waited a week before posting this so it wouldn't be a "knee jerk" reaction. It still deeply bothers me. I will not be back. read more

Went in for first mani/pedi ever-and I told them that I had gift cert for this--when 3.5 hours later I went to pay-I was told to pay $20.00 more than cert.!! I had nothing extra done as the man told me while i was in the chair that "lacquer would be $25.00 more and i said NO". When I argued the fact--she acted like she didn't speak English. I feel like they use language barrier when they want to as 1 of men working there clearly communicated to a vendor (while i watched him in my chair that day). And that same man heard me at counter and never stepped up to intercede. I paid and left to get out of there. I then went in to have polish removed from toenails 5 weeks later-man told me $5.00. Then when went to pay--woman says $7.00!! Then told me wanted cash and no credit card!! The man heard, stepped up and said i could use it of which woman got angry and slamming started. Asked for receipt of which she made an issue of that as well.... In review: 1) they use language barrier to their advantage to get more $ 2) VERY RUDE , close to hostile when they are questioned to explain. My suggestion:: have someone who can interpret at the front desk at all times to improve communications with your customers. Will never go there again NOR will I recommend.... read more

Terrible, customer service was not there, he kept insisting on me getting gel nail polish and I told him I didn't have the extra money for it & he said whatever a couple of times to me... asked me a couple more times if I wanted gel and I said no and he continued to treat me like a piece of trash. Cut my cuticles, glued my two fingers together...kept telling me to move my hands, was laughing rudely, and sighing the WHOLE time... THEN he had another girl paint my nails because I wasn't giving him a reaction at all. HORRIBLE! I was there at 940 this morning, only 5 people working and a dozen customers (they open at 9) I was telling another lady that I had been there for 40 minutes and the girl up front (mary) yelled at me that I should make appointment... so it's MY fault you're understaffed... got it! Then she continued being mouthy with with me! I was signed in to see HER ... she regularly does my nails, it's not like she didn't know me. I skipped the pedicure because I could see she was almost done with the shellac she was doing and didn't want to wait anymore for someone to start my pedi, knowing if they did she would take another waiter and I would be that much longer getting out of there. She tries to pawn me off on someone else and I tell her I'm waiting for her, she finally sits me down and gives me the ROUGHEST mani I've ever had, throwing my hands around pushing them back, she even slipped with the dremel and knicked me! She then yelled at me that if I couldn't relax she couldn't do my nails...once again MY FAULT! I have spent no lie, 3 hours in that place. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE. Just went for the first time and scheduled two 11am nail appointments. First they didn't even seat us until 1130 and then I was told I could not sit next to my cousin and was moved to the front of the store. I sat there for 30 more minutes and asked a woman who works there why they would schedule appointments if they can't honor them? Her response was that they are busy on weekends. So basically they overbook themselves and hope people with no back bone will just deal with it. There are way too many other nail salons that no one should support a business like this. First time took almost 3 hours to get a pedicure and the second time they ruined my brand new sandals by sloppily pouring cuticle oil all over my feet while I was wearing them, permanently staining them. I used to really enjoy this place but after my experience today I am changing my opinion. I wanted to do a luxury pedicure and the man doing my pedicure told me that he wouldn't do it because I came in 20 minutes too late. They also locked the door before they closed which I found odd. But when he told me no on the pedicure, which I found rude, he was also rude in the way that he said it. I drove over 30 minutes to come here just for the specific pedicure and was refused. He didn't even take all of my old nail polish off. He was constantly getting up and leaving me to go and do other things. Went here for a pedi. Waited over an hour to be given a seat. From there it got worse I had an inexperienced tech that was taking 2 hours to give the pedi. He still wasn't finished so they sent a girl to do it. She finished it so quickly but didn't finish doing it right. I had to return the next day because it was a mess. They were very rude and my pedi still looked awful when they were done. I pointed out while it was being done again the steps that they were missing. So SO disappointed! This place used to be great honestly, but now I will never be back. Firstly, I stopped coming here after how rude the staff got, there used to be such nice ladies in there but now the guy who is the main boss is awful (I think his name is John?) so terrible rude and disrespectful. My mom and I only came here because Top Nails by Kroger was booked up for the night(a lot of Solaria clientele has moved there). We had checked other salons but they were all either booked or closed. It was our only day off so we decided to go Solarias since they had no wait. The nail technicians were very nice upon walking in but john(?) was a complete jerk. We asked if it was too late for two pedicures and he snapped at us saying "fine okay but no nails no nails NO nails" we told him we were just asking for pedicure not our finger nails. He was to the point of yelling almost. We sat down and the nail techs started working. My mom had an older man who was awesome and I had a younger woman who was ok. She peeled my skin back so far on the inside of my cuticle I yelped and pulled my foot back. I looked down and it was red and open a little bit. She said "it's fine put back in water" I did, and it burned A LOT. I took it out and put pressure on it since I tiny bit of blood was coming out. She was obviously annoyed but maybe next time don't cut someone's toe! Accidents happen but come on, I have every right to stop it from bleeding! After john(?) saw me holding my toe he came up to me and JABBED my leg and pushed it and said "PUT back in water!". I was furious!! I wasn't even his client, I said no I'm not doing that, it burns she cut my toe and he pointed to the water again and I said No! This isn't your pedicure! He said oh yeah mhm okay with an attitude and walked off. The rest of the time my nail tech was good. To top it all off they closed at 7, which wouldn't be a problem if the door and window didn't say MON-SAT 10-8. John had the nerve to be upset we were in there after 7... all he had to do was turn us away and say the signs were wrong and that they change their hours for winter. We walked in at 6:30 expecting an hour and a half of time since why would we think it closed at 7? They didn't tell us, online it says 8 AND the door and the window said 8. My toe is THROBBING right now. I've had at least 100 pedicures, this has never happened. Needless to say I will never be back unless to confront them with a medical bill if my toe is infected!! I went in with my daughter and we are not "regulars" so she was skipped over to allow 3 people without appointments to go ahead of her because they knew them. Needless to say I will not become a regular knowing this is how they treat customers.
