I had went to Renee at Mod Squad by a referral and she didn't listen to a word I said, did what she wanted twice! My hair was not blonde I was brassy blonde very disappointed and needed it fixed. Jaye got me in last minute, listened to what I wanted, listened to what had just been done a couple days before so she didn't damage it further and produced a phenomenal color. I was so relieved, happy and ecstatic that it turned out so beautiful even after all the processing. Jaye gave me a small bottle of product to use free of charge to recover my hair from the processing that had been done in the short period of time and recommended a good shampoo and conditioner which I purchased from her. She produced a beautiful color, used amazing products on my hair and could comb right through it, didn't pull of it out leaving it on the floor like Renee and never burned me with the hair dryer. Look at the pictures I have attached and you will be amazed. Jaye listens to her customers and cares about the health of your hair and making you feel beautiful with your results which isn't that what pampering is all about?! I drove from Saline MI, Columbus OH, so driving from Southfield isn't as far. Finding someone that understands that you just want a trim doesn't mean take inches off the back is harder than you think. Leslie knows how I like my hair and makes it happen. My hair is a little weirder than normal since I am half Cherokee. Leslie understands it. Her prices is more than fair, but she has always been busy with regulars, but now only able to work 3 days a week because of social distancing needed to keep everyone safe. She takes caring customer service seriously. Mask, cleaning station completely between customers. I was allowed to stay put while waiting for the color to set. Hair wash bowls usage is also spaced. While the salon has disposable masks for you to use if you don't have one or like me getting a color so it won't get on my own, I saw another customer no wearing a mask while being worked on by another stylist who even took his off. Lets hope the other stylists will get their act together since they can spread the coronavirus working so close. I took a star off for that. It is a community health issue not any thing else. Already got my next appointment booked. Will be back for Leslie to do her magic. EBS always loved how my hair looked since I always get it blow dried and that makes it even longer. The stylist are working longer days to get everyone in they can so don't believe the posted hours.
