After 5 years of going to the same person, things had changed in life and I found christa through social media. I knew what I wanted and wanted done by her. Whoever scheduled the appointment failed to ask her any questions about her hair or the color service she wanted and simply told her to come in. When she arrived, excited and ready for her appointment, she showed the staff what she wanted, only to be told that the process would take too long and they couldn't accommodate her. What upset me most wasn't that they couldn't perform the service. It was how they handled the situation. There was no apology for the miscommunication or acknowledgment that their scheduling process had failed. Instead, they looked at her hair in a way that made her feel as though something was wrong with it. A simple conversation when booking could have prevented this entire experience. If certain color services require additional time or a consultation, that should be communicated before accepting an appointment. My daughter came in excited and left feeling embarrassed and upset. Regardless of whether a salon can accommodate a particular service, every client deserves to be treated with kindness, professionalism, and respect.
