I brought my 75 year old, no frills mother here. She knew what she wanted and was sure she wouldn't find anyone who could do it. We booked Mykayla for 9 AM on a Saturday. She was delightful! Ryan at salon 124 completely butchered my hair. I had been going to this salon for years and liked Ebby. She left so they gave me Ryan. The first time he cut my hair it was not good but I thought I'd give him another chance. Wrong decision. I supplied him with full photos of my hair and how I like it cut. He butchered it into basically his haircut. Shave on the sides with a puffball of hair on top. I paid for it as I didn't want the salon to say I was trying to get something for free. The salon owner replied to my review with pure nastiness. Don't let Ryan Lawson get anywhere near you with scissors. read more

I called 5 times after leaving this salon to express my dissatisfaction with my haircut. They must have been busy after 5:00. The girl who did my hair was super sweet and did a great color... she's new to the industry, and I hope can be given a little bit more training. I still paid $195 after the tip, and hope I wouldn't have to give a bad review... but their website says they are open until 9:30 on Friday, and I have no response. read more

First time visit and was told as I was waiting that they don't let patrons wait in lobby area after I had waited 15 minutes. I offered to wait in my car but was told just need to sweep & would take me. Then never saw a sign about COVID fee and I read all post about COVID and 24 hr cancelation notice or would be charged half price of appointment. It would have been nice to known there was this charge. No other salon has charges such as this. Appears they need to get every dollar from you they can. For this I will not return. read more

I love how this place does online appointments! I'm new to the area so it is so nice to see when they are available so I didn't have to call a million places. John got me in same day for a trim. Shampoo/head massage was amazing and I got to take a nap after a long day of work. They offer coffee, tea, beer, wine, etc. while you have your hair cut. What's the point of even making an appointment if you can't even get in at the time it was made!! The stylist (Casey) didn't have the professionalism to come tell me she was really behind or ask if I was willing to reschedule. I was extremely fed up! So disappointed! I purchased a hair product that the stylist assured me was meant to be used in dry hair to add volume at the roots. I sprayed the product in my hair and let it dry before styling, just as the stylist advised. The product made my hair so stiff I couldn't even get my hair pic through it, let alone my fingers as advised. In reading the can I determined it was a spray laquer, meant for extra firm hold - not volume or texture. When I returned to the salon a stylist found me the correct product, a spray volumizer. The manager refused to allow me to exchange for the correct spray, but offered to let me purchase it for an additional 27.00, after I had already spent 26.00 for the 1st spray. The manager said they had a no refund or exchange policy on goods and services - something I have never encountered in a high-end salon. The manager never even offered to demonstrate a way to use the spray that might make it usable for me, she simply dismissed me outright. I have gotten better hair product recommendations at Ulta, and they stand behind their products! read more
