Hello, I wanted to share my amazing experience with Studio M Beauty and their hairstylist Nicole P. I came in with dark brown hair with a hint of red and wanted a balayage. Somehow in 1 session Nicole was able to create the most beautiful blonde that I constantly am getting complimented on. It's definitely the happiest I've ever been with my hair. Brittany is the best and goes above and beyond any stylist I've ever known to ensure you are so happy with your hair. She is immensely kind and fun to talk to. I walked in with 8" of grow out from full foils. It was horribly dry, frizzy and I felt like it wasnt ever going to look ok, let alone good. One last try, then back to my bad shade of brown. I made an appointment with Mel B. Sent her the photos of my current state and a photo of the color it was when I like it. First off shes got an amazing personality! Super fun, could easily just be one of your friends. The rest of the ladies are all serious abt hair and also fun. In my phone Mel B's number is listed under Hair Goddess. I am her biggest fan, now. When I left the salon, I had hair I never thought I'd have, curls that were hidden under frizz, hair that was this beautiful tone of very light ashy blond (just exactly what I wanted!) But the most shocking part was my hair had just gone through process and on the ends of my long hair, it had multiple processing and it never felt better in my life. Better than before I started coloring. I had her go through all the products, all the steps and I bought every product and followed her directions. So, im newly highlighted at a gorgeous color, and newly curly lol with silky happy hair. Ok, I am giving a 4 and not a 5 only for 1 reason. Let's start with the over all experience. The beauty parlor was very clean and nicely designed. I went to see Lindsey Botta. She was beautiful, sweet and straight forward about expectations of my hair and truly caring. I have been dying my hair black for 3 years and wanted to go back to blonde now. Like right now...lol. she took the time to make sure I understood the true probable outcome for the first treatment. I have to say only one thing negative, I wasn't happy there wasn't any kind of blonde in my hair even after highlights being put in. I do completely understand the process. I couldn't be mad. I wasn't happy about the cost for my hair when I didnt even have one highlight. I paid a lot for no highlights even when they were placed in my hair but nothing was there at the end. read more

Really disappointed with my color correction from Whitney who claimed to be a "balayage specialist" from this salon. Please research the heck out of your stylist before you decide to book an appointment with them. Especially for a balayage OR color correction. Disappointed for many reasons 1. She couldn't fix it on the first try so I had to come in again and have her attempt to fix it again. Huge red flag that she want going to be able to fix it 1. She didn't tell me until the SECOND attempt and AT THE END of my appointment that she wouldnt be able to get the results I wanted. I'm pretty sure she noticed the disappointment on my face and then decided to tell me this 2. I spent a total of 6 hours in her chair to have my hair look almost exactly the same as the trash I walked in with 3. She didn't listen to me. I told her over email that if she can't get the results I showed her in the picture I'd like it dyed back to my natural color 4. My problem was I had no dimension in my hair and that adding dimension was "her thing" as you can see my hair is still flat and only 2 colors. Including the leopard print spots she left 5. She said she could fix my hair without frying it. It's fried! 6. I showed her many pictures of what I wanted. I'd have a lot more respect for someone who could be honest and tell me at the beginning that they aren't able to get me the results I wanted In the end, I went to another hairdresser who fixed this. She took one look at my hair and was stunned that it looked like this. So it goes to show she just wasn't up to par with color correcting read more

This review is on the NAIL SERVICE only. I did a pedicure and manicure. As much as I'd like to give 4 stars for my experience, I can't. The pedicure was awfully uncomfortable. The chairs are not appropriate for a pedicure and I had to bend my legs all awkward and balance them on a stool, leaving me sore and not relaxed. I would never recommend getting a relaxing pedicure at this place. The manicure was a 4/5. The woman providing the service was awesome, very nice. read more

I went to EM salon for many years for my hair and my lashes. I started with someone i loved but she really only works certain days. I was told my the person who did my eyelashes that I could not have volume lashes because my lashes were so thin. I went in every 2 weeks because because they always fell off like after the first few days. So I had to keep going back. I could only have one eyelash per extension because"it will break my eyelashes". I believed her . My eyelashes kept falling off like right after they were done. her attitude was ...O well it happens. No it doesnt. Then one time she did my eyelashes (for the last time) and they fell out 2 days later. I texted her right away and told her. Her response was O No !well that does happen and im out of town. Like tough shit lady. then proceeded to canx my next appt and could of cared less. I had had it. All the money I have paid this person so years was a complete waste. I have my eyelashes done now by someone who knows what she is doing. I have full volume lashes on and not one eyelash has fallen off. I can have full volume lashes and my eyelashes are not "breaking off" read more

I got acrylic nails done by Delaney. She was very nice & gave a lot of recommendations for my nails. I got a pastel rainbow with chrome on the top. I love the colors & the chrome was so perfect! However, there are many mistakes. On my index finger & thumb, I can see the the nail paint coming off along the side. On my other index finger, the paint is not all the way smooth. There are minor dents. On some fingers, I can also see the separation between my acrylic nail & real finger nail. Not worth my $60 dollars, but she had a variety of colors & ideas for nails. read more

I had tape in extensions she removed and replaced with hand tied hybrids that look and feel 1000% better . She shaped my hair after adding the extensions so they are natural looking and blend completely with my natural hair . Such an amazing experience. I hadn't had my hair cut in a long time and I had a fear of coloring since the last place I went to gave me chemical burns, but this place takes such great care of their guests, and they ensure your happiness with how your hair looks through the whole process. Sherri Ann cut and colored my hair and I couldn't be more thrilled with how it turned out. I showed her a couple of pictures and she made my hair look exactly like the pictures if not better. She also consulted me on how I can maintain my new blonde locks and which products to use. Toni is an excellent stylist. I found this salon online while visiting Salem. I am a hairstylist of 30 years. I needed my black roots highlighted blonde and a toner to match my extensions. My hair isn't easy and is very time consuming. Toni colored my hair to perfection. Never having met me before she wasn't offended by my suggestions to perfect the out come.
