Unbelievable!! I love, love, LOVE my hair. In fact, I am obsessed with it, and I am no fancy pants woman by any means. I don't "do" hair. But now I do! I messaged Karrie through Yelp and she responded promptly. She asked for pictures of my current hair, and what I wanted. I got an appointment a few weeks out. At first I was worried she was moving too fast, but she is obviously just so skilled that she didn't need to move at a snails pace. After an hour (which included a million questions from me) I had the cutest hair style that requires so little work. ABSOLUTELY PHENOMENAL!!! Karrie is a serious delight. I messaged her on yelp and she got back to me almost immediately! I got in so quick (within a month for a cut and total color make over!!!) that's fast for someone who is in high demand AND around the holidays! She was so sweet and easy to talk to. Nothing was awkward... It was my first time meeting her and I was super scared to try a new stylist! She made it eaaaasy peasey! I literally just word vomited out what I thought would be cool and she prompted me with questions to help and showed me different colors and etc. She really knows her stuff... the color came out absolutely brilliant... and my hair just feels so neat and clean and beautiful! Karrie is great! I am so glad people are finding her talent. I was always happy with her work. I saw her for a number of years and only twice had issues with what she did. I let her know that I didn't like it for this or that reason. She encouraged me to sit with it and see. I sat and if I ever did decide it was not my cup of java she would make it better. The only complaint that I have is that she has gotten fabulously busy and I can't always wait quite as long as I need to to get in to see her. I have only good things to say about Karrie. read more

Karrie! She's amazing! I was looking for someone to cut my hair today and I got so lucky finding Karrie on here. I called and she answered immediately. She had just left the salon, but offered to go back. I met her there five minutes later and got to work! I have really damaged platinum hair (because I'm irresponsible and do it myself), but she wasn't rude about it. She's very honest and did an outstanding job in my hair. She's also sweet, down to earth, and quiet. I did far more talking than she did, and that doesn't bother me a bit, lol. By the end we were both laughing and getting compliments on my awesome cut from fellow stylists and a sweet lady that was waiting to get her hair cut. We all agreed my new cut is mega sexy and fitting. I had her take a good 4" off, layered, textured, and she had the awesome idea of cutting it slightly asymmetrical in the front. Karrie is amazing!! She worked late into the night to fix my hair. I had colored it red, and did not like it, I really wanted silver/gray. Okay, so my hair is bone straight, silky and fine which means it is NOT forgiving of inaccuracy or lack of precision. After receiving a series of bad haircuts at other salons, I did extensive research on stylists before making an appointment with Karrie. When I arrived, I showed her two pictures of women with long layered hair as I wanted to add layers. After accessing the texture of my hair she told me the women in the pictures had much thicker hair than mine and if she layered it like theirs, It wouldn't look like that and I wouldn't be happy with it. She told me I had beautiful hair and explained she could add some texture that would give it movement and more subtle "layers" that wouldn't make it look thin and choppy. Impressed with her knowledge and confidence, I told her to go ahead and do what she thought was best for my hair. Karrie was spot-on with her suggestion and my hair turned out gorgeous and I love it! I so appreciated that Karrie had the confidence to give me a reality check and the skills and expertise to find an alternative solution to create a beautiful result for my hair type.
